Location and surroundings of object
The well-known Austrian holiday resort Velden is located directly on the Wörthersee, the largest bathing lake in Carinthia. The town has inhabitants and offers its guests a wide range of possible activities. Whether swimming, shopping or enjoying the nightlife, everything is within walking distance.
Excursion possibilities: Many hiking trails have been established around Velden. For hikes at higher altitudes, the nearby Karawanken (Mittagskogel), the Hohe Tauern (Großglockner) and many other mountain ranges and glacier areas are recommended, with some mountains being accessible by chairlifts or cable cars. The provincial capital Klagenfurt and the district capital Villach (the second largest city in Carinthia) are only a few kilometres away. In addition, several well-known places in our neighbouring countries Italy and Slovenia can be reached in less than an hour by car.
Nightlife: Casino Velden, various pubs, bars and discos
Other activities: Hunting possibility, air rifle shooting at the shooting range, boat trips, cross-country skiing, ice skating, curling
Golf: Since spring 2005 there is a driving range directly in the village.
The golf courses Velden-Köstenberg, Dellach, Seltenheim, Moosburg-Pörtschach and Finkenstein can be reached in 15 - 25 minutes.
Ski: The nearest skiing areas are the Gerlitze, reachable in 20 minutes and Bad Kleinkirchheim, reachable in 35 minutes. Other top skiing areas (Nassfeld, Turracher-Höhe, Katschberg) are within an hour's drive.

After a cancellation there is no right to an alternative date.
In the event of cancellation up to 3 months before the start of the rental period, no cancellation fee will be charged and the deposit paid will be refunded to the tenant. Possible bank charges are at the expense of the tenant and will be deducted from the deposit.
For cancellations up to 30 days before the start of the rental period, a cancellation fee of 25% of the rent is due.
For cancellations up to 10 days before the start of the rental period, a cancellation fee of 50% of the rental fee is due.
For cancellations after this date a cancellation fee of 75% of the rent is due.
We recommend our tenants to take out a travel cancellation insurance.
