Location and surroundings of object

Barbecue nights in the garden are often arranged and if requested, we offer breakfast and specialities of the region at dinner.
One can always find fresh vegetables, fish, eggs, meat and village bread. Every Wednesday, there is a big marketplace in Selimiye and we have a friend in Turgut who sells special hand-wowen textiles.
The whole area is ideal for walking or mountain biking. Our guests particularly enjoy the walk over the hills to Bozburun, the waterfall around Turgut and the climb to the small fortress overlooking the village.
Small tours or excursions to the environs, i.e. waterfalls, Datca/Knidos, Bozburun yatch harbour, and to the nearby historical ruins adds immeasurably to your appreciation of the history, landscape and culture with which you come into.

Right up in the mountains you will find the picturesque village of Bayir which is the place to buy honey and pistachio nuts.
Boat trips are the highlight of a visit to Selimiye. The coastline is so stunning and the water so clear that a trip to deserted island for a barbecue lunch and a swim in a secluded bay is sure to be a memorable experience.

Time seems to stand still in this idyllic Mediterranean Loryma peninsula is a delight. It is a very mountainous arm of the land jutting out into the sea. The coastline is heavily indented and scattered with a host of tiny offshore islands, most topped by their own bit of ruin. The view is the most spectacular, with the Aegean Sea and surrounded by glorious mountains and blessed with crystal clear waters, the coastline of Selimiye is so large it never feels crowded even in peak season.
You can always find fresh vegetables, fish, calamari, eggs, meat and village bread, (every morning, we have fresh village bread brought to the Villa and groceries are fetched to the villa on demand) all made naturally and old fashioned way right in the village. Every Wednesday, there is a big marketplace.

Viewed from Villa Manzara, houses and fields fringe a perfect, almost land locked bay, with its own tiny islet topped with the obligatory ruin in water (which often seems to be almost navy blue). The small fishing harbor is lined with restaurants and the charming village square is a popular meeting place with its many coffee houses. There are lovely not crowded beaches with beautiful safe clear waters in Selimiye.

Beautiful cottage & garden

A wonderful studio stone house for 2 people. There is a huge garden and a pool that you can get in directly from the house. The view and the location is great, you can have wonderful time in the garden with a light wind without feeling the extreme heat of the beach. Hasan and Nuran are the best hosts we have seen so far. They made us feel like their special guests and were always helpful in every way. You can stay at this house without a second thought. We would like to thank Hasan and Nuran once more for their hospitality. We'll definetely go back there as soon as possible.

BEST OF THE ACCOMMODATION

It was the great a week during our holiday.

Throughout our stay , Hasan Bey and his wife were very interested with us and other clients too. MR Hasan and his wife prepared a little tour for Selimiye's bay and it was great, me and my friend amazed to Selimiye. And It made to us so happy.

It was so comfortable and restful like a magic home :)

If you don't have car , don't worry because house is so closer to sea and restaurants. And don't forget make a breakfast in the view of the sea wiev from at garden :)

Thank you and see you soon again

Great!

Hasan Bey and his wife Nuran Hanım are incredibly sweet and helpful people. They not only provide great advice to ensure you have the maximum enjoyment of your vacation, but also go as far as reserving a table for us at the restaurant :) Lastly, the house is ten times more beautiful than in the photos. Thank you for everything.
