nice house with good equipment, enough space, very nice landlord, quiet location, (car required)
We decided spontaneously at the end of September for a holiday in Croatia during the autumn holidays (beginning of October) and were extremely satisfied and enthusiastic! The landlord (Toni) was very concerned about our well-being and obliging. When we asked for a toaster on arrival, he bought one (sandwich toaster - "normal" ones are less common locally) and provided it for us the next day! Even small things, such as flat batteries in the TV remote control, were changed immediately.The children amused themselves on the cooler evenings or in the rare rain at the foosball table, use the swing or the table tennis table.The house is renovated and very clean. the house is renovated and very clean,it offers enough space,especially the kitchen+bedrooms.Very positive:The double beds can also be called as such,they offer enough space for two people and are not "limited" at the bottom,so you don't have to sleep in "embryo posture "as a taller person.Due to quite small windows,the house is quite dark inside,but in summer it is certainly pleasantly cool.We were absolutely satisfied with the equipment. I would have given the 5th star if the house had a dishwasher, but we are thinking about buying one. In our opinion, the location requires a car. In the village itself there are only a few houses, no shop, no baker, butcher or the like, which we ourselves did not care about, but in the "objective" evaluation of the location only allows 4 stars. All the residents and neighbours we met were friendly. The location is overall very quiet (during the day sometimes dogs of the neighbours bark briefly). You can have a nice family holiday by car, as all the surrounding destinations can be reached from the house in about half an hour: sights, parks (aquarium/stalactite cave), picturesque harbour towns and beautiful beaches. The autumn weather was a bit unstable, but mostly sunny.The sea was still 24°C and on sunny days it was almost inviting to swim.All in all SUPER!
