The modernised holiday flat "Über dem Kattsund" is located in the quiet, quaint street "Kattsund" in the heart of the historic old town of Eckernförde, only 50m from the harbour. The shopping street, various restaurants/cafés and also the Baltic Sea beach are within easy walking distance.
The flat is located on the 2nd floor of a historic Kontorhaus dating from 1899
Rustic wooden roof beams spread a wonderfully cosy atmosphere and on 135 m² the holiday flat offers very modern furnishings for couples and families with up to 4 people. Your four-legged friend is also a welcome holiday guest!
The spacious living room is beautifully bright and flooded with light thanks to many mullioned windows and the high ceilings and offers a high-quality couch set, which are perfectly matched to the room in terms of colour, as well as a flat-screen satellite TV incl. entertainment programme, BluRay/DVD player and music system. From the small balcony you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Lucifer and the harbour. From the living room you enter the open lounge area with fireplace - here you can make yourself nice and cosy even in the colder seasons! The modern, open-plan kitchen offers extensive, high-quality fittings, lots of large work surfaces and is perfectly integrated into the spacious living area, which has a very refined look thanks to the real wood parquet flooring. At the adjacent dining table, you can enjoy your delicious home-cooked meals in a family setting
There are two bedrooms, each equipped with a high-quality box-spring double bed, so that nothing stands in the way of your nightly rest! The spacious bathroom is decorated in pleasant natural tones and offers a very wide shower with rain shower head, hand shower, hairdryer and towel warmer.
The flat has its own parking space in the video-guarded multi-storey car park about 300 metres away.

Location and surroundings of object
Wonderful, central location in the historic old town of Eckernförde, only 50 metres from the harbour and 200 metres from the Baltic Sea beach. The shopping street runs parallel to the Kattsund, so you can reach various shops, cafés, restaurants and bistros within a very short time. Despite the central location, the flat is pleasantly quiet and has a wonderful view of the roofs of the town and the harbour
The town of Eckernförde is located on the Baltic Sea, has a beautiful Baltic Sea beach, a seawater wave pool, Baltic Sea information centre, a sweet shop and a beautiful harbour mile.
A wonderful place to really unwind and take trips to the nearest sights. Enjoy your time out from everyday life here!

A dream home in Eckernförde
Take a look at the pictures and read everything that is noted here about the flat: it is all exactly true! There is only one thing that cannot be conveyed in this way, namely how great it is to live in this holiday flat when you are on holiday in Eckernförde.
The flat impresses with its size, the furnishings, the loving details, because here the good principle "less is more" applies, and with the charm that is given to it by the original beams and the wonderful floor alone. The 136 sqm are allowed to work through themselves and are not overloaded with decoration, but are absolutely successfully set in scene by some accents. It has everything you need and much more, and most importantly, it is spotlessly clean and hygienic, from the towels to the huge bathroom mirror, from the toilet to the last corner in the large bedroom closet.
We are grateful to have been guests here for a fortnight!
