Zolferate's high ceilings, chestnut beams, terracota tiles and fireplace offer a cosy romantic space to recharge you batteries.
The bedroom has a double bed and a fold down single. The living room/kitchen corner has a fold down double sofa bed. The bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet facilities and a hairdryer. The kitchen corner comes with traditional Tuscan fittings and is fully equipped with utensils and crockery. There's a fold down double sofa bed in the living room. A high chair and cot are available.
Fast (6MB) free WiFi internet access is available throughout the accommodation. Podere Sant'Angelo is located 3km along a well-maintained unmade road. The English owner lives on-site and is available for help and advice.

Location and surroundings of object
Delicious traditional food, fantastic wines, beautiful scenery, long hot summer days. Hill top villages, medieval churches with Renaissance frescoes and ceramics ........ uncrowded beaches with beautiful clear sea ..... all the clichés about Tuscany are here and they are all true - especially here in the Maremma, the southern untouched part of the region. South of Siena, Maremma stretches to the border with Lazio. This is a land of Etruscan remains, rolling hills, unspoilt medieval villages with a pace of life that takes you back back 50 years if not more.
The picturesque village of Roccalbegna is a ten minute drive away. It's a 30 minute drive to the hot springs at Saturnia. The Etruscan remains of Sovana and Pitigliano are 30 minutes away. The beaches of Castiglione della Pescaia and Marina di Grosseto are a 75minute drive away. day trips to Siena, Florence and Rome are possible.

| In high season the arrival day is Saturday, other times it is flexible. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance can be paid in cash upon arrival. Beautiful holiday flat with fantastic view
We were surprised by a beautifully located holiday flat, lots of nature, a fantastic view, sunsets and starry skies. It was just the right place to relax and unwind. The landlord Graham with his warm and friendly manner gave us good and helpful tips. The beautifully furnished flat is clean, well maintained and well equipped. We would come back at any time

Beautiful in nature
The estate Podere Sant'Angelo is beautifully set in nature and very well maintained. The host, Graham, has put a lot of love into the garden. We received a very warm welcome from him and were always given good tips during our stay. In our flat Zolferate we lacked nothing and in the garden we found a lot of peace and relaxation. Thank you very much for everything!

Beautiful holiday apartment
We spent a relaxed and beautiful week in Graham's vacation apartment. The house is very quiet and secluded, which we liked. Everything we needed was available. Graham, who lives in the neighboring house, welcomed us very friendly and was always available with advice for questions. The well-maintained garden around the house invites you to linger and we liked it very much.

Visit lovely south Tuscany
Podere Sant Angelo is a lovely quiet place with a beautiful garden and a magnificent view. The owner is frendly and helpful without being overly present. The lovely south of Tuscany is around you. We loveed the place.

Our stay at Zolferate, Podere Sant'Angelo
Zolferate was just as we had hoped. It was very well appointed, comfortable and had spectacular views across open countryside. It's location gave easy access to many charming towns and villages. Siena and Florence were manageable within a day. There were a number of restaurants within easy reach and we had some wonderful food and wine. There are many walks signposted close to Podere Sant'Angelo and we plan to explore more of them next time we visit.

Glorious Easter weekend in Podere Sant'Angelo
I spent a few peaceful days at Podere Sant'Angelo this year. I have been there several times before. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The countryside is stunning and so is Graham's garden in the springtime. The cottages are spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The host, Graham, is tremendouly helpful and friendly. Podere Sant'Angelo is off the beaten track and a bit hard to find first time, but once you find it, you'll keep coming back!

Vacation in nature away from mass tourism
We were warmly welcomed by Graham, our landlord. He repeatedly gave us good tips for excursions and restaurants during our vacation. He is always helpful. The covered terrace with lots of flowers is very beautiful and cozy. In the evenings, the garden is nicely illuminated with solar lights. The view, sunsets, and starry sky are fantastic. A car is necessary for excursions. With it, we visited many cities and villages in southern Tuscany. Highlights of our vacation were also the day trips by high-speed train from Grosseto to Rome or Pisa. On our hikes, we saw various animals, such as ibex, wild donkeys, deer, and birds. The approach to the vacation home is via a gravel road.

Romatic escape in Tuscany
Really lovely place, surrounded by romantic Tuscany hills. Perfect to spend time relaxing, drinking good wine and enjoying the most incredible starry sky I've ever seen!! Also I would like to thank Graham, very friendly and helpful host, who will give you all advice you might need! Definitely recommended!

The great escape
Wonderful place, perfect for relaxing and escaping from city stress and busy life. The garden is lovely and peaceful and you can always choose between just relaxing or sightseeing the beautiful surroundings made of cultivated nature and architecture. The host is a very nice person with lots of useful advice.

I grew up in the northwest of England. After studying in Scotland I left the UK and have lived and worked in many different countries. Now more than ten years I enjoy life here on Podere Sant'Angelo. It gefält my experience the Maremma, nice places to visit and where you can eat well, communicate with my clients. The great view from Podere Sant'Angelo make this a really special place. Since the look is down to the sea at Porto Santo Stefano, in the other direction there is the oddly shaped Monte Labbro, front of the house there are wonderful sunsets. The black night sky with the Milky Way, which extends over the house is still a wonder to behold. After the enjoyment of urban life in several of the largest cities in the world (including Hamburg) I guess now the close contact with nature, offering life on Podere Sant'Angelo.
