The house "CASA A-GADDA-DA-VIDA" (in a garden of Eden) - named after the balade of the rockgroup Iron Butterfly - is located in the quiet residential area "Runjacica" at the top of the northwestern district of Premantura at a dead end road, directly adjoining to the protected woods of Premantura.
The village center with shops, numerous restaurants, ATMs, tourist offices, etc. is located in a distance of approximately a 10 minutes' walk.
The property has a large terrace with a lounge, bar and large fridge for drinks etc. from where you can enjoy a beautiful view to the sea and the bay of Medulin.
The house is located at the uppermost row of houses in the area Rujacica. Even during the high season from July to September our guests will find peace and quiet because no tourist facilities such as bars, nightclubs, restaurants are in indirect proximity to the house Approximately 200 m from the house you find a children's playground with fountains.
The house is about a 10 to 15 minutes walk away from 2 beautiful beaches. Premantura - a picturesque town with 450 residents - was first populated in the Bronze Age. It is the southernmost town in Istria. The most popular, famous and legendary indicator of Premantura is the long and narrow peninsula Kamenjak, km long and up to km wide, which extends like a long arm in the Adriatic. The protected nature reserve Kamenjak encircles a 30 km long coastline which is dotted with numerous coves and beautiful beaches. Its unique beauty is still perfected by the small islands which rise from the crystalline blue-green sea. The village has well-stocked stores, an ambulance and exchange offices. Premantura and its restaurants are known for an extraordinarily rich oyster bar. Of the many events and festivalsthe following two are recommended: The Crab Festival on May 1 and Lovrečevo on August 10, the most important festival, the Saint Lawrence, the patron saint of Premantura.

A beautiful, lovingly furnished house with a wonderful view.
The garden is a feel-good oasis, especially in the evening with the great lighting. The house is different from the usual holiday properties, it has a great, individual touch. Particularly noteworthy is the nice personal contact with Mrs. Hübner from booking to the end of the holiday. Every question was answered immediately. I felt very well looked after and informed.

Alles ist wie beschrieben. Ein tolles Ferienhaus,das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Es ist sehr liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Ein Ort für einen wunderschönen Urlaub.

Beautiful house with all the bells and whistles
We really enjoyed our stay. You don't have to think about anything. Towels, dish soap/tabs, washing machine powder, garbage bags, board games, PlayStation, beds made, everything is provided. Plenty of restaurants nearby, not too expensive and within walking distance. You need a car to get to the beach, but this way you also get to see more of the area. Quiet location, not as touristy as, for example, Medulin. Even in bad weather, it is very comfortable to stay in/around the house. The lighting and music system are great. We didn't use the BBQ because there are plenty of good places to eat in the area. We had a wonderful and relaxing week and can recommend the house. If you have any questions/comments, the caretaker Dave and Mrs. Hübner are always available. In short: It was great! Tip: You should arrive early to avoid waiting for hours at the border controls. Leave before 7 am to get through easily.

Always happy to do it again...
This is the second time we have spent our holiday at Casa La Gadda da Vida, this time with our (rather large) dog, and it was a dream as always. Often we didn't even want to go to the sea, because in this villa no wish remains unfulfilled. Especially the barbecue station and the Jacuzzi are something you don't get everywhere.
We would love to come back anytime!

Top terraced house with absolute best equipment
The price is high, but worth every penny. From the jacuzzi to the steam cooker to the ice maker, everything is available in top quality. The rooms are also absolutely top of the line in terms of design. We had 3 days of bad weather but with all the multimedia equipment that was no problem. If we go to Croatia again, we will definitely choose this location. If I could give it 6 stars, I would

Very well equipped accommodation
House suitable for 2 families. Meets the landlord's specifications. The kitchen is very well equipped. The waste disposal worked great. The best part were the great free bikes provided by the landlord for free!! House for 8 people, 8 bikes would be even better than 5 bikes. I have already recommended the accommodation! The accommodation was great.

Perfect family vacation
We (2 adults + 2 teenagers) were allowed to spend 2 wonderful weeks of vacation in this beautiful house.
The location and equipment of the house are top-notch! We didn't miss a thing. We especially liked the great outdoor area with the jacuzzi, sun loungers, and the gas grill.
With the bikes provided, we went on exploration tours in the surrounding area, for example to the nature park "Cape Kamenjak." The surroundings of Premantura are beautiful, and the town itself offers everything a vacationer's heart desires. Of course, excursions to Pula or Rovinj should not be missed either.
The pre-care by Mrs. Hübner and the on-site support by Dave were excellent.
We would love to come back!

Alles super
Wir haben zu 2. eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Da wir schon über Nacht angereist sind, waren wir schon um 8 Uhr in Premantura, und da die Wohnung frei war konnten wir sie auch schon beziehen. Der Hausmeister Dave hat uns ausreichend die Wohnung gezeigt und war stets hilfsbereit.
Die einzelnen Räume sind sehr gut ausgestattet, jeweil mit Klima und Tv und es gibt 3 Badezimme mit Duschen, die meines erachtens allerdings ein wenig klein sind.
Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestatte mit allem was man braucht, einzig der Toaster funktionierte nicht so gut, da das Brot schnell anbrannte.
Der Garten war auch toll, vor allem der Jacuzzi sorgt für absolute Entspannung.
Ein großes Plus ist auch die eigene Garage, wo man das Auto lassen kann.
Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder mit, was jedoch nicht nötig gewesen wäre, da in der Garage mehrere Fahrräder gratis zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, denn man erreicht mit dem Fahrrad die ersten Badestrände innerhalb 10-15 Minuten, ohne das Auto nehmen zu müssen.
Ich kann somit eine klare Empfehlung für das Ferienhaus geben, sei es nur zu zweit oder auch für mehrere Leute, da genügend Platz vorhanden ist.

Urlaub im casa a gadda da vida
wir können diese unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. die ausstattung ist hervorragend, modern, hohe qualität und angenehmstes ambiente. die klimaanlage in jedem raum funktioniert hervorragend. die küche samt gerätschaft lässt keine wünsche offen, ebenso der aussenbereich mit jacuzzi, liegen und gasgriller. die betreuung durch die inhaberin frau hübner und von dave vor ort sind genau so wie man es sich wünscht. wir werden ganz sicher wieder diese schöne unterkunft buchen.

Ferien im Casa A-Gadda-da-Vida
Ich war mit meinem Freund und einer Kollegin im Casa A-Gadda-Da-Vida vom 2. bis 8. Juli 2016. Wir konnten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Kroatien verbringen. Im Ort "Premantura" kann man die wichtigsten Einkäufe erledigen. Die grösseren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind keine 10-minütige Autofahrt entfernt. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist. Dieses konnten wir in der Garage direkt unter dem Haus parkieren.
Die umliegenden Orte sind einfach traumhaft. Wir unternahmen z.B. eine Quadtour in Medulin. Vom Haus aus kann man mit den Fahrrädern den wunderschönen Nationalpark "Kap Kamenjak" erkunden. Es gibt zahlreiche schöne Strände. Zudem haben einige Strände eine eigene Bar, z.B. die Safaribar, wo man Essen und Trinken bestellen kann. In Pula waren wir noch Gokart fahren, was auch sehr preiswert war und viel Spass machte. Ich empfehle auch jedem einen Ausflug nach Rovjni.
Das Haus bietet einfach alles. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet. Wir haben alle sehr bequem geschlafen. Der Jazuzzi dient zur absoluten Entspannung. Wir haben sehr oft zu Hause gegessen. Der Aussengrill funktioniert super. Der ganze Garten (inkl. Beleuchtung) bietet ein super Ambiente. Auch die EM-Spiele konnten wir problemlos auf dem TV schauen. Das Internet funktionierte immer und war schnell (auch zum streamen geeignet). Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und wir wurden über die wichtigsten Dinge instruiert. Die Küche verfügt über alle wesentlichen Einrichtungen. Das Haus war zudem sehr sauber. Ingesamt hat es 3 Badezimmer, alle mit Duschen. Wir hatte somit nie Problem mit besetzten Bäder, etc.
Wir werden nächstes Jahr voraussichtlich wieder eine Woche in diesem Haus verbringen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir waren rund um mit allem zufrieden und können dieses traumhafte Ferienhaus in Premantura wärmstens empfehlen.
Die Kommunikation mit Frau Hübner war stets freundlich und die Informationen immer sehr ausführlich. Wir haben uns bereits vor der Anreise gut aufgehoben und betreut gefühlt. Vor Ort hat man einen sehr freundlichen Mann der uns das Haus und gute Tipps mit einer menge Geduld erklärt hat.
Im Haus selber fehlt es wirklich an nichts. Die Ausstattung und die Technik ist unschlagbar.
Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und ruhig. In 3 Autominuten ist man in einem traumhaften Naturschutzgebiet ( Kamanjak) mit vielen kleinen Buchten.
Im Ort ( ca 5 Fußminuten) befinden sich viele Geschäfte in denen man alles bekommt. ( kleiner Supermarkt, Bäcker, Eisdiele, Souveniershop, Wechselstube, Restaurants...)
Kurz gesagt : mit diesem Ferienhaus macht man alles richitg.

Werte Franziska, besten Dank für die ausgezeichnete Bewertung. Wir sind gegenwärtig ebenfalls vor Ort und konnten inzwischen von T-Com eine Set Top Box mit "German TV Package", d.h. den wichtigsten deutschen TV- Kanälen wie ARD, ZDF, 3SAT, SAT 1, RTL, VOX, Pro 7 etc. installieren. Leider ist unser Staatsfernsehen SRF im Package nicht enthalten, so dass wir immer noch mittels VPN-Changer gucken müssen.
