Near our house you will find a variety of amenities: shops, restaurants, sports, diving center, a bakery, a small port etc. On the southwest coast of the island of Rab, on a narrow, fertile plain, lies the town of Barbat. The fertile fields are suitable for the cultivation of olives, wine and vegetables. Residents mainly deal with the agriculture and fishing, but in addition of course to tourism, the main source of income in Barbat, as well as on the whole island. Many domestic products such as sheep cheese, olive oil, honey from our own apiary, wine and other specialties are frequently encountered on the table of guests.
