We spent a wonderful summer holiday here with two small children. This holiday home is in a great location and offers a well-maintained and fully fenced garden. Ideal for children to play. The beach and the centre are only a few kilometres away.
The landlord family is very friendly and always approachable

How do I come to Diano Marina?

Diano Marina – easily accessible by car or train

Diano Marina belongs to the province of Imperia in Liguria. The town is located on the gulf of the same name, which gives the town a four-kilometer-long sandy beach. Called Diano by the Italians, the town has about 6,000 inhabitants and is geared entirely towards tourism. Many holiday apartments and holiday homes with swimming pools can be rented at low cost directly in the town, by the sea, or in the beautiful Ligurian countryside. You have the choice between rustic holiday homes in the hinterland, holiday apartments with sea views, and villas with pools and gardens.

Diano Marina is located on the famous route from Genoa to Imperia and further to Menton and Nice, which is evident from the well-developed road network. Coming from the north or northwest of Germany, it is best to head for Switzerland or Liechtenstein on the E35 motorway. Following this, you will reach the border crossing at Chiasso near Lake Como. The A9 takes you in the direction of Milan, where you will first follow the signs to Genoa. Shortly before this, you change to the coastal road to Savona and arrive directly at your holiday home in Diano Marina via San Bartolomeo al Mare. Once a medieval town, Diano Marina lost its old town center in the devastating earthquake of 1887. The present appearance of the old town is dominated by pretty 19th and early 20th-century buildings. A beautifully designed pedestrian zone with many bars, cafes, and restaurants contributes to the charm of this cozy holiday destination.
