The brand new magistrate's flat is on the top floor. It offers you a beautiful view over the Innerstetal and the old mountain town of Wildemann from all sides. It is equipped for up to 6 people and offers a spacious living room incl. dining area, 3 bedrooms for 2 people each, a large kitchen with dining area, and a bathroom with bathtub and WC.

The living room is luxuriously furnished. Relax on a large sofa with the large flat-screen TV with satellite reception and stereo. You can also dine comfortably at a dining table for 6 people. Of course, fast and free 100Mb WLAN is available throughout the house.

The typical Harz patrician house, built around 1870 and completely renovated in 2015, is located above the Bohlweg, in the centre of the village.
This means you can reach restaurants and pubs without having to climb any metres.
In a sunny location on the slope of the Gallingsberg, it is not directly on the main road, but slightly elevated on a small square. From here begins the pedestrian path to the Magdalenen Church and the start of many hiking trails. Highly recommended!
We had booked the entire house (both flats and the officials' room) for a weekend with student friends. The reception was very friendly, the flats are very well equipped and even with 10 people we could sit together at tables and make raclette without any problems. Everything was just fine!
The surroundings are also fantastic. The place is rightly called "Little Tyrol" and is very much influenced by the former mining industry (among other things, there is the possibility to take part in guided tours in a former mine). The village is equipped with all the necessities, is beautifully situated in a valley, and you are immediately surrounded by nature. By car, you can get to the next towns of Clausthal-Zellerfeld and Goslar, which are well worth a visit.
All in all, a great weekend, not least because of the very friendly and helpful nature of the landlord couple!

Es passt einfach ! Danke für alles !
Wir hatten über den Jahreswechsel die Magistrats- und die Bürgermeisterwohnung zusammen gemietet und wundervolle, geruhsame Tage zum Jahreswechsel verlebt. Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben und so fühlten wir uns – angefangen bei unseren Ankunft – bestens betreut. Hervorzuheben ist die wunderbare, unkomplizierte und unaufdringliche Betreuung der Gastgeber, die in unmittelbarer Nähe wohnen und immer zur Stelle waren. Wir wurden willkommen geheißen mit einem Empfangskorb, in dem wir Kaffee, Tee, Wein und weitere Dinge vorfanden, die es uns sofort ermöglichten, nach der Anreise ohne Stress erst einmal zur Ruhe zu kommen.
Wertvoll waren die wirklich exzellent sortierten und insbesondere topaktuellen Tipps für Unternehmen und Ausflüge. Ebenso besonders war die schnelle Hilfe, als wir uns gleich am ersten Tag aus der Wohnung ausgesperrt haben und als wir auf der Suche nach einem Kinderarzt waren. Die Frau des Gastgebers hat sogar die Eltern zum Arzt in einem Nachbarort begleitet, was sicherlich einzigartig war.
Die Wohnungen sind komplett neu und mit allem eingerichtet, was benötigt wird. Zudem haben wir es sehr genossen, dass beide Wohnungen wirklich sehr geräumig sind, so dass es genug Platz für alle Gäste gibt. Wir haben in der Magistratswohnung auch genügend Platz gehabt, um alle (6 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder) gemeinsam zu essen und die Abende zu genießen.
In Wildemann selber gibt es alles, was für schnelle Erledigungen notwendig ist (Bäcker und gut sortiertes Lebensmittelgeschäft in 5 Minuten Fussweg entfernt, zudem mehrere Gaststätten und auch eine Glow-Golf-Halle = Minigolf unter Schwarzlichtbedingungen, den 19-Lachter-Stollen) und auch perfekte Einstiege zum Wandern und zu den Loipen. Wir hatten nur das Pech, dass der Winter erst mit unserer Abfahrt Einzug hielt.
Noch ein Tipp: Direkt gegenüber befindet sich das Hotel „Zum Rathaus“, in dem es wirklich sehr gute Küche gibt und auch die Möglichkeit, auch als Gäste Massagen zu buchen.
Von Wildemann aus sind Ausflüge auf den Brocken, nach Goslar und in die vielen Harzgemeinden kein Problem. Und zudem gibt es hier Natur pur.
Wir können das Objekt uneingeschränkt empfehlen, wobei uns immer die Fürsorge und die wirkliche Gastfreundschaft in Erinnerung bleiben werden.
Wir wünschen den Gastgebern von ganzem Herzen immer zufriedene Gäste und beste Auslastung. Danke noch einmal für alles und wunderbare Grüße in den Oberharz zu Benno und Ragna.

Absolute topwoning(en) !
We wilden met het gezin in een mooie vakantiewoning in een wandelomgeving onze kerst vieren, en na enig zoeken hebben we voor het AltesRathaus in Wildemann gekozen.
Wat hebben we een perfecte keuze gemaakt ! We komen zeker volgend jaar weer terug !
Van de eerste tot de laatste dag hebben we genoten van de vakantiewoningen, van Wildemann en van de omgeving.
De woningen (het vakantiehuis bestaat uit 2 woningen) zijn van werkelijk alles voorzien.
Van compleet uitgeruste keuken, ruime woonkamer en badkamer tot fikse slaapkamers met grootbeeld-TV, en, belangrijk, heerlijke bedden.
Gastvrijheid is bijzonder hier, vanaf het uiterst gastvrije welkom van de eigenaren tot ons vertrek is iedere vraag die we hadden direct beantwoord.
Mappen vol handige info voor allerlei uitjes, dichtbij, verder weg, zomer, winter, binnen en buiten, kids en volwassenen.
Een welkomstmand met koffie, thee, water, wijn, knabbels, etc…
De omgeving is één-en-al natuur, je loopt min of meer direct de natuur in, of stapt in de auto en is binnen no time in een van de andere wonderschone plekken in of rond de Harz.
Het middeleeuwse Goslar, de stoomtrein naar de Brockentop of een uitje naar een van de musea of (kinder)zwembaden, allemaal op korte afstand.
Van de vele vakantiewoningen die we tot nu toe hebben gehuurd is dit wel de absolute topper.
Vandaar dat we het AltesRathaus en de Harz iedereen van harte kunnen aanbevelen.

Erwartungen weit übertroffen
5er Gruppe im Alter um die 30 Jahre + Hund - Da diese Konstellation das Suchfeld schon stark einschränkt, stießen wir schnell auf das Alte Rathaus in Wildemann.
Kontakt zum Vermieter aufgenommen und umgehend Antwort erhalten. Über den Preis staunten wir nicht schlecht, denn für 3 Nächte mit Hund und allen Nebenkosten (Endreinung, WLAN, Kurtaxe) waren selbst weniger attraktive Unterkünfte nicht zu bekommen.
Der gute Eindruck bestätigte sich dann auch vor Ort, super netter Vermieter, die Wohnung übertraf unsere Erwartungen und war bis ins Detail mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub brauchen kann.
Kurzum, wir können das Alte Rathaus in Wildemann jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen!
Schönen Gruß in den Harz, wir sehen uns bestimmt wieder!
