Description
The 4-star holiday cottage Martinus 1 is suitable for 2 persons (on request for 3 persons). The holiday cottage is detached, on the ground floor and is in a unique location in the middle of the village. Within minutes you are in the supermarket and the pleasant shopping street of Egmond aan Zee. The beach, dunes and forest are about 600 meters away and you can park completely free of charge on the private enclosed grounds at the holiday home.
The holiday home is cosily furnished. In the living room/kitchen: leather sofa; armchair; small dining area; digital LED TV (82cm); radio / DVD / CD player and inside and outside with free WIFI internet. The (open) kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom and the two bedrooms are adjacent to the living room/kitchen.
The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet and a hair dryer and towels are ready for you upon arrival.
The first bedroom has two box-spring beds of 80x200cm arranged as a double bed. The second bedroom has a single bed of 90x200cm. Upon arrival, the beds are made ready for you.
The cottage is located in a sunny south-facing garden with various sitting areas, you can use the barbecue on request and bicycles can be stored in the lockable shed on the property.

Location and surroundings of object
Our 4-star holiday cottage Martinus 1 is a few minutes' walk from the cozy village center of Egmond aan Zee. The bus station and the local supermarket are just around the corner, there are also many nice shops, cozy restaurants and beach pavilions with lovely sunny terraces, for the ultimate holiday feeling.
You can also do all sorts of things in the vicinity of Egmond aan Zee. Walking or cycling through the dunes and forests, enjoying the beautiful always changing sea and Dutch skies during a walk on the beach or enjoying a pleasant beach day together on the beautiful beach directly on the North Sea.
There are many historical or other places of interest in the Egmonden. Such as the Museum van Egmond in the Zuiderstraat, the lighthouse J.C.J. van Speijk and the lifeboat shed on the boulevard and the Jansje Schong Bunker Museum on the sea dunes north of Egmond aan Zee. But the nearby castle quarter in Egmond aan den Hoef or the Abbey of Egmond-Binnen are also definitely worth a visit. If you like art and culture, you can indulge yourself in nearby Bergen.
From Egmond aan Zee you can reach Alkmaar within 15 minutes (by car), where the world-famous Alkmaar Cheese Market takes place every Friday morning from the last Friday of March to September, and in July and August there is an evening cheese market on Tuesdays. A day in Alkmaar and a wonderful browse in d'Oude Stad with the many nice craft shops or a cruise through the canals of Alkmaar is definitely worth it. Amsterdam is only 45 minutes away by car or train, so if you want to visit our capital from your holiday destination Egmond aan Zee, that is certainly one of the possibilities.

Cancellation terms:
- Free cancellation option until 60 days before the day of arrival.
- In case of cancellation, the tenant pays €25 administration costs and a compensation to the landlord. This is:
- up to the 42nd day (exclusive) before the day of departure: 15% of the travel sum;
- from the 42nd day to the 28th day before the day of departure: 35% of the travel sum;
- from the 28th day to the 21st day before the day of departure: 40% of the travel sum;
- from the 21st day to the 14th day before the day of departure: 50% of the travel sum;
- from the 14th day to the 5th day before the day of departure: 75% of the travel sum;
- from the 5th day to the day of departure: 90% of the travel sum;
- on the day of departure or later: the full travel sum. Cleaning costs and tourist tax are not due in case of cancellation, unless canceled during the stay. The fee will be refunded proportionally, after deduction of the administrative costs, if the place is reserved by a third party on the recommendation of the tenant and with the written consent of the landlord, for the same period or part thereof.

Beautiful - cosy - central - perfect
If you are looking for a cosy accommodation - which is modernly furnished - where nothing is missing - this is exactly the right place.
Great warm landlords - a private parking space directly in the yard and you are immediately in the city centre . The location is excellent. Also in the flat everything is there what you need - the towels are cosy - everything picko Bello clean - we have enjoyed our days here very much and would come again anytime .
