Description
Our holiday home is located in Spain on the Costa Brava in Pals on the Urbanización Mas Tomasi.
It stands on a terraced sloping property enclosed by fences and walls, below a very quiet ring road.
From the entire property and from all terraces you have a beautiful panoramic view of the countryside, the sea, the Medes Islands and the Montgri mountain.
If the weather is very nice and clear, you can even see the snow-capped Pyrenees.
The living area of the main house is furnished with a comfortable sofa, an open fireplace and a large dining table for up to 8 people.
For your entertainment you will find a wall-mounted 50" LG flat screen smart TV with international, but mostly German programs and AirPlay, a stereo system with Bluetooth function, radio and CD, a Blue-Ray DVD player and very fast WIFI with free Internet access.
There is also a selection of books and DVDs for adults and children.
Adjacent to the living room is a small kitchen with a 4-burner gas stove, large fridge-freezer combination, microwave (with built-in grill and convection oven), dishwasher, normal coffee machine, Nespresso Lattissima, kettle, toaster, and much more.
There are 4 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms throughout the holiday home.
There are three bedrooms in the main house, two of which have a queen-size bed (140 x 200 cm) and one bedroom has 2 single beds (90 x 200 cm).
Some of the bedrooms have built-in wooden wardrobes or free-standing wardrobes.
In the attached apartment, which is directly adjacent to the house, there is another, fourth bedroom with an en suite shower room. The apartment has a separate entrance with its own small terrace and no direct access to the main house.
There is also a washing machine in the shower room of the main house.
Our tenants have a children's (travel) bed for children up to 36 months and a high chair (6 months to 10 years) available free of charge.
Furthermore, the entire holiday home is equipped with an electric natural stone heating system. Only in the main house is there air conditioning, which can be used for cooling and heating.
There is sufficient furniture and sun loungers with cushions on the property, by the pool and on the terraces.
Smoking is not permitted in our holiday home, but only in the outdoor areas. All living rooms and bedrooms are therefore equipped with a smoke detector.
The swimming pool is approx. 7.50 x 3.50 m and can be accessed via normal stairs.
Our holiday home consists of two parts:
1. Main house with 3 bedrooms, kitchen and 1 bathroom for 2-6 people
2. Attached apartment with 1 bedroom, en suite bathroom and separate entrance for up to 2 people
The smallest part that can be rented is the main house for 2-6 people at the standard rental price.
The apartment can be booked for an additional charge if you want 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, or if you are traveling with more than 6 people.
We do not rent out our holiday home to different tenants at the same time. If you only book the main house, the apartment will remain empty and locked.

Location and surroundings of object
The spacious holiday resort is located in the pine belt between L'Estartit in the north and Sa Riera/Begur a few kilometers to the south. Playa de Pals, a popular surfing area, has a mile-long sandy beach that is up to 80 m wide. Between Playa de Pals and Sa Riera there are some small rocky bays and bathing spots. In Playa de Pals tennis and squash facilities with hard and sand courts. 18-hole golf course in Playa de Pals and 27-hole golf course in Gualta. 6 km inland on a hilltop is the medieval town of Pals, which is dominated by a castle and has good restaurants. The historic core with cobbled streets, churches and houses decorated with flowers has been painstakingly and stylishly restored. The surroundings of Pals can be easily explored by bike on marked paths. The picturesque bay of Sa Riera can be reached in a few minutes by car via a coastal road.
Pals is situated on a hill about 3 km from Playa de Pals and the beaches.
The district of Els Masos, which consists mainly of holiday homes, is located between Pals and Playa de Pals (each 2.5 km). Sa Riera is 7 km away and Begur is 9 km away.
The district of Mas Tomasí, which consists mainly of holiday homes, extends over a pine-covered slope between Pals and Playa de Pals.

The use of air conditioning and heating is optional and possible at any time. There is air conditioning in every bedroom and in the living area and there is a natural stone heater or towel heater in the bathrooms.
Electricity costs up to 10 kWh per day are included in the rental price. Any additional consumption will be billed upon departure.
Final cleaning, water and internet are included in the rental price.
Dogs are allowed and stay free of charge.
You should bring your own towels and bed linen, but you can also rent them from the administration for a fee.

Very nice house
Very nice house, well situated on a small hill with a view of the sea and the Medes Islands. The house is very well equipped and the area is quiet. We had a very pleasant stay. We recommend it. Thank you very much.

We lacked nothing
We stayed in this beautiful holiday home for the first two weeks in June. We wanted for nothing there. The location is as often mentioned just fantastic with this great view and the surroundings are very quiet. There are also really great restaurants in and around Pals.
We had great weather and could use the pool on the property every day.
You have to drive to the beach. The sea was still quite cool at that time, but there was very little going on at the beach.
For our two dogs, the pine forest was within walking distance and the dog beach is about 15 minutes away by car, at which time there was hardly anyone, which was super nice.
So we can only recommend the house and the surroundings, really very nice.

Quiet and relaxing holiday
We had a very quiet and relaxing holiday in May 2019 in this house. The house is well equipped and leaves little to be desired. The bedrooms are equipped with very good mattresses (we have experienced other things). The view is beautiful and is an absolute must in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine.
When first approaching the house, we recommend using mobile phone navigation. It is actually easier than a possibly outdated one in the car.
We are happy to recommend this house to others.
For dog owners, we would like to mention that the pine forest nearby can be reached quickly on foot and is ideal for the fur noses.

It was all there!
We had a very good rest in the beautiful house. Our two dogs also liked it very much;-) Everything you need was there (except the oven). There were even usable, sharp knives in the kitchen, which we have never experienced in a holiday home. The beautiful panorama is -as already mentioned here several times- really terrific, because the house is located in a holiday home area on a mountain and the view is free from almost everywhere on three sides!
However, it is important to keep this in mind, because the paths (forest, supermarket...) are very steep and therefore not recommended for people with disabilities. We only went to the supermarket/bakery by car, which was a good thing ;-)
We also liked the beach and the surroundings very much. The historic old town of Pals is beautiful and must be visited. The recommended "dog beach" was a bit of a hike along an extremely bad road, but in my opinion it was still worth it. We and the dogs also liked the beautiful "pine forest" very much. We had very little "stress" here with our dogs - which is not so often possible in German holiday regions - and could relax wonderfully.
Before (first) arriving at the holiday home, be sure to study the map of the residential area, otherwise you will end up like us: we followed the only sign "Mas Tomasi" and found ourselves in the completely wrong part of the residential area on the "upper" part of the mountain. There is no connection to the holiday home from here. You have to go all the way down again and find another way. There is not a single street name in the whole area and the house numbers are not chronological. This is -at first- all very confusing. (Even the local rental car company refused to deliver a car to the residential area for this reason).
Of course, this cannot be blamed on the landlady. In this respect, we have nothing to complain about and will be happy to come back.

We felt very comfortable
We stayed in the holiday home in mid-August with 4 adults, a toddler and 2 dogs. The house is equipped with everything you need. There is only no oven, but there is a barbecue behind the house. There is a great dog beach just 20 minutes away by car, which we visited often. To go for a walk, you have to "pass" a slight descent and then an ascent, but then you are rewarded by a great forest with many small paths that our dogs were only too happy to explore.
The house is also perfectly situated for many beautiful neighbouring towns such as Pals town, Begur, Girona, Torrella de Montgrí etc.....
All in all, we felt very comfortable and can recommend the holiday home to everyone.

We felt very comfortable
We stayed the first two weeks in June with 2 people and 2 dogs for the first time in this very beautiful and cosy holiday home with a fantastic view from the terrace. Unlike many other holiday homes, you don't have to bring all the utensils from home. Nothing was missing and since everything is fenced in, you don't have to constantly check on the dogs and can enjoy your holiday! For walks, you can be in a great pine forest in a few minutes, which offers countless paths that are always new to discover. (Also ideal for mountain bikers.) You can get your daily breakfast in 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes by foot at the entrance of the holiday home area. In addition to a bakery and tobacco shop, there is also a supermarket, so there are no long distances to go shopping. Our conclusion: We felt very comfortable and will gladly come back again

It was a great holiday
It was really a great holiday with 7 people and 2 dogs in the perfectly equipped house! The view is fantastic, the beds very comfortable, enough space for everyone, the pool and the terraces just to enjoy and a fenced property for the dogs. Only a few minutes to the forest for the walk or even further to the beach. One week was far too short, but we will gladly come back!!!

Ausblick ist unbezahlbar
Wir , 6 Erwachsene , 2 Kleinkinder und 4 Hunde haben Mitte Mai 2017 zwei Wochen in dem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht ! Die Lage und der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist unbezahlbar ! Man kann sich gar nicht sattsehen an dem fantastischen Aus und Weitblick .
Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet und bietet eine guten Komfort ! Alles ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet . Dazu kam das das Wetter in der Zeit nahezu perfekt war so das wir den großen Pool gut nutzen konnten.
Auch die Gassirunden mit den Hunden lassen sich sehr gut gestalten. Man ist nach ca. 5 Minuten gehen in einem tollen Wandergebiet das sehr gut ausgeschildert ist !
Auch die nähere Umgebung ist sehenswert. Sehr schöne Städte mit guten Restaurants und nicht zu vergessen der traumhafte Strand den wir unter der Woche fast für uns alleine hatten !
Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub in einem spanische Ferienhaus wo wir uns wie Zuhause fühlten !
Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Traumurlaub
Wir haben eine tolle und erholsame Urlaubswoche in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht.
Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig auf einer Anhöhe. Nach einem sportlichen Fußweg zum Bäcker begann der Tag mit einem Frühstück auf der Terrasse, denn der Ausblick von dort ist einfach nur traumhaft.
Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Sonnenliegen und Gartenmöbel laden zum faulenzen ein.
Der Pool zur Abkühlung war genial.
Den Strand erreicht man mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten.
Wir haben festgestellt, eine Woche war zu kurz!!! Wir kommen wieder keine Frage...

Wonderful vacation

Ein sehr schönes Haus
Ein sehr schönes Haus in einer tollen Lage. Der Blick von der Terasse ist wunderschön.
Es ist alles zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Möbel sind schön und nicht wie so oft alte ausgemusterte Möbel .
Die Gegend ist sehr vielseitig und es gibt viel zu sehen.
Wir können uns gut vorstellen wieder zu kommen.
