Dormitory Tjeukemeer: group accommodation and boats in Friesland.
The dormitory Tjeukemeer, easily accessible via the A6, is ideal for group activities, self-catering. The dormitory is located in a modern and spacious building with views of the Tjeukemeer, the largest lake of Friesland.
The dormitory has a handicapped accessible bathroom with shower and toilet. The property is both accessible and easily accessible by wheelchair because everything is on one level and safe for small children. The ideal place for a family weekend, wedding anniversary, sailing weekend, Schullandheim, vacation, leisure and introductory week in Friesland.
Inside a lot of space is (for children) for sports and games. Outside you can relax on the terrace, on the sports / volleyball court with climbing frame, the children can play or how about a walk along the polder dike to the harbor.
The group accommodation is situated in a beautiful location right on Tjeukemeer with its own port and about 2200 hectares of water right outside the door. The sandy beach is right next to the dormitory. Compared to the group accommodation is the island Margjepôle which is very well suited for a variety of games and sports activities and has its own sandy beach.

The Tjeukemeer, one of the quietest lakes in Friesland, is a natural beauty.
In Lemmer, the nearest town, there is an excellent offer
Shopping. Nice little shops, as well as a good gastronomic offer invite you to stroll.
Certainly also a point, which makes the attraction of the environment, are (beside the Tjeukermeer) the adjacent forest areas Gaasterland & Kuinderbos.
Also the beautiful fortress town Sloten is worth a visit!

Oosterzee is 6 km from Lemmer. Lemmer, is THE tourist resort on the edge of the IJsselmeer with about 10,000 inhabitants and belongs to the municipality De Friese Meren. Furthermore, Lemmer is one of Friesland's most important water sports centers with many lakes - next to the IJsselmeer (among others), the Tjeukemeer and the Groote Brekken.

Wonderful group accommodation
This was the 2nd time we stayed in this house with a group. The accommodation offers a lot of space and the location is fantastic. The children don't disturb anyone and can let off steam in the large garden. The location directly on the Tjeukemeer is very beautiful and a boat trip is worthwhile.
The contact with the landlords is very warm and uncomplicated. They are always friendly and helpful. We will gladly come back!
