With its excellent location just behind the North Sea dyke, Haus Strandläufer, built in the Frisian style, offers an ideal holiday home for up to 8 people.
The holiday home has a high level of living comfort with complete furnishings
On the ground floor is the living room with a cosy seating area. The wood-burning stove in the living room provides a pleasant, cosy warmth in the colder seasons. The dining area is located right next to the bay window. The very well-equipped kitchen is reached through a brick archway. Coffee maker, oven, cooker, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator are by no means the complete equipment.
On the ground floor, in addition to the large family bathroom on the upper floor, there is a separate bathroom with shower and toilet
The south-facing terrace is a great place to relax. Of course, the lawn offers enough space for children to play. Of course, "Haus Strandläufer" also has garden furniture and a barbecue.
On the upper floor there are 3 bedrooms and a modern bathroom/WC with shower and bathtub. In the large master bedroom, a baby cot can be conveniently provided if needed. Opposite is the children's room. A 140 cm wide bed (double bed for children !) and a play box etc. will make the children's hearts beat faster. The third bedroom also has a double bed. Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with its own wardrobe.
In addition, the attic has been converted. It is equipped with a small seating area, another flat screen TV and a double bed. From up here, as from the upper floor, you have very beautiful views over the island and across to the harbour.

Haus Strandläufer" is located in the Norderhafen district, which also includes the spa centre. Your holiday home is located in a cul-de-sac, which has the advantage that there is no through traffic and you will find peace and quiet.
The dyke and the sea are approx. 500 m away and very easy to reach on foot. The spa centre (only 400 m away) includes a small indoor swimming pool and a sauna. There is a bakery and bicycle rental next door. Between "Haus Strandläufer" and the spa centre, children can actively relax on a playground
The Strucklahnungshörn ferry port is a little outside Norderhafen, but can also be reached on foot or by car in about 5 minutes. From the ferry port, there are opportunities for excursions to the island and Hallig world, such as Sylt, Amrum or to the Hallig Nordstrandigmoor. You should also definitely take a guided mudflat hike to the Hallig Südfall
We also recommend exploring the island by bike and dike walks. You can enjoy typical local cuisine at the restaurant Zur Nordsee, not far from the spa centre. Experience nature and the special charm of the green marshland island of Nordstrand. Take a deep breath. Enjoy the clear air and the healthy climate of the North Sea. The special colours of the sky and dreamlike sunsets over the sea will delight you.
The island has an extensive network of cycle paths so that you can particularly "experience" its unspoilt nature. You can observe the ebb and flow of the tide and the fascinating bird life on long walks along the dikes.
Guided mudflat walks, carriage rides on the mudflats and trips with the Adler ships to the seal banks and the Halligen are an experience for young and old. Numerous restaurants and pubs cater for your physical well-being.

super equipped holiday home in a beautiful location
The well-maintained holiday home is really very nicely furnished and equipped, the location is great and the view from the upper floor over Nordstrand is fantastic! Our little daughter wanted to go upstairs first thing every morning to see what was going on on Nordstrand. The furnishings are suitable for children and the reception by the contact person on site left nothing to be desired! Despite the unsettled weather, we will have fond memories of the holiday and will be happy to come back!

Beautifully located and very well-maintained holiday home
We had a wonderful time with 4 children! Sufficient space, clean, beautiful terrace with garden, perfect location. The on-site service left nothing to be desired and was carried out quickly and reliably. There was even a stair gate for optimal safety for young children. We rarely had such a beautiful holiday home!
