Situated in a prime location Westenschouwen, only 400 meters from the North Sea beach!
The stylish, bright house offers complete comfort and has a large sunny garden.
It has been built sustainably with lots of glass and wood, and has just been passed. So new in our assortment!
The house is equipped with Wi-Fi, a very fully equipped kitchen, comfortable box spring beds, 2 showers (of which 1x en suite), 2 separate toilets, an infrared sauna and fireplace. The decor is modern and very atmospheric.
The covered terrace has patio heater so that you can sit comfortably outside in any weather.
In short, an absolute recommendation with many possibilities for a short or longer stay in Westenschouwen!

Fantastic location within walking distance of the beach, nature reserves and some cozy restaurants! From here, the beauty of New Zealand has to offer. Enjoy the beach, sun, beach, water sports, hiking and cycling. Many beautiful places like Burgh-Haamstede, Brouwershaven, Middelburg and Zierikzee are certainly worth a visit. Westenschouwen is a small quiet village in the western part of Schouwen-Duiveland.
Westenschouwen has very different natural areas, long stretched beaches, wide dunes that lead into a forest landscape called "de Boswachterij" the largest forest in Zeeland.
Unique because you hear the surf of the sea everywhere. Beach cabins can be rented.
In "de Boswachterij" a permanent exhibition about the work of our forestry can be admired.
Various hiking, trimming and mountain bike trails can be found on the beach, dunes and forest trails.
Cozy restaurants and pavilions are always close by.
The "Oosterscheldekering" with the "Peilerdam" is only 1 kilometer away.
The small village Burghsluis with the monument "Plompe Toren" is located at about 4 kilometers.
Westenschouwen is characterized by its beautiful beach and the only forest of Schouwen-Duiveland.
In short Westenschouwen is peace and pure nature.

Grosszügiges modernes Haus mit Wohlfühlcharakter
Wir haben schon sehr oft Ferienhhäuser in Westenschouwen gemietet, auch dieses hier gehört zu unseren Favoriten. Für uns war u.a. auch die Lage entscheidend, absolut nah am Strand und zum Waldgebiet, trotzdem ruhig und am Ende der Sackgasse mit genügend Privatsphäre, trotz der durch die Rundumverglasung im EG offenen Art. Eher modern spartanisch eingerichtet, dafür gerade für Hundebesitzer sehr pflegeleicht. Trotzdem alles da was man braucht und in entsprechend guter Qualität. Ein kleines Highlight ist die Infrarot-Sauna, die wir bei dem nasskalten Novemberwetter gut und gerne genutzt haben. Alles in allem top und gerne wieder.

Schönes Haus mit kleineren Mängeln
Das Haus liegt sehr schön, nicht weit zum Strand und einige kleine Restos sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar.
Die Ausstattung ist gut, allerdings hatten wir Probleme mit der Heizungssteuerung, die entweder nicht richtig funktioniert oder eine verständliche Anleitung zur Steuerung fehlt.
Auch in einem Bad waren bei der Ankunft noch Haare der Vorgänger im Unterschrank, was etwas gruselig ist und eine Lampe war verstaubt.

Modernes, großzügiges Ferienhaus nah am Strand
Ein wirklich schönes und großzügiges Haus, das mit seiner offenen zweiten Etage viel Freiheit und Offenheit vermittelt. Absolut empfehlenswert.
Der Wohnbereich mit angeschlossener Küche ist geräumig, wirkt aufgeräumt und gut gestaltet. In den Essbereich scheint morgens die Sonne, falss man dann nicht eh bereits auf den Tisch im Freien ausgewichen ist. Auch gerade die Schlafzimmer in der oberen Etage mit dem schönen Bad und kleiner Sauna, haben uns gut gefallen um den Abend noch mal gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen. Das untere Schlafzimmer, könnte ein größeres Fenster vertragen, punktet dafür mit eigener Dusche.
Insgesamt findet man einfach ein modernes Haus mit wohnlicher und freundlicher Atmosphäre.
Das Haus liegt ruhig am Ende einer Sackgasse und auch wenn die Nachbarhäsuer links in unmittelbarer Nähe sind, bleibt genügend Raum für Privatsphäre und man hat nicht das Gefühl einem wird auf den Teller geschaut. Im hinteren Bereich findet sich sehr praktisch ein Schuppen für Fahrräder.
Die Geschirr Austattung könnte etwas umfangreicher ausfallen, so habe ich persönlich einfach Müsli Schalen vermisst. Dass das Haus bis 9:30 verlassen werden muss, während zeitgleich die Spülmaschine ausgeräumt sein soll, führte morgens zu etwas Hektik beim Frühstück um noch rechtzeitig fertig zu werden. Hier denke ich wäre es angemessen zu sagen, der Gast möchte beim Verlassen sie Spülmaschine eingeschaltet haben.
Ich würde dieses Objekt noch einmal mieten,
welches vielleicht immer die positivste Bewertung darstellt.
