Description
Our holiday villa is located on the southern coast of Sicily in a small town, which is 15 km from the provincial town of Agrigento. About a private dirt road, away from the noise and tourist crowds, surrounded by picturesque olive groves and orchards is our Anwehsen: hir can nature and a beautiful enjoy the sea view.
The villa is suitable for 1-6 people and has three bedrooms, each with double beds, a living room with fireplace, District heating and TV, a kitchen with gas stove, oven and refrigerator and two bathrooms with shower and an outdoor Duche. A washing machine and an iron is available.
There is a large wraparound deck, invite to the sitting areas and lounge chairs for relaxing and sunbathing. Furthermore, on the patio, a barbecue area available.
We are a German family who is always ready with help and advice for their guests. Hospitality is written here GREAT!
The Villa offers in summer and in winter, the best conditions for a relaxing Mediterranean break.
The Mediterranean climate in Sicily is beautiful: there are up to 300 sunny days.
In general, every season has its charm in Sicily, offering fantastic spring begins hir from mid-March, the island then turns into a huge flowering sea. Temperatures can in April during the day quite come to 25 degrees and in May the sea reaches pleasant bathing temperatures.
Summer in Sicily is like should be a summer, stable and always sunny.
Come visit us in the winter! Also in this Season's always seems the sun and the temperatures remain mild angenem.

In the immediate vicinity there are many attractions. 'Scala dei Turchi' (Turkish Staircase) is the name of the main beach of Realmonte, which is known for its picturesque rocks of white limestone. In Agrigento (15 km) is the most famous temple in Sicily 'Valle dei Templi'. In Siculiana (about 5 km) invites the nature reserve 'Torre Salsa' for walks. In summer you can spend your evenings with performances and concerts in the theater Capo Rossello Realmonte. Or do something: Visit the historic cities of Agrigento, Sciacca and interesting cultural monuments! Etna and the cities of Palermo and Catania are worthwhile destinations for day trips. The owner is a German-speaking family who is always ready with help and advice for guests. The villa offers the best conditions for a relaxing holiday in the Mediterranean. Realmonte is a small town, which is 15 Km from Agrigento and is very popular with tourists. The "Turkish Steps" or "Scala dei Turchi" is the name of the main beach of Realmonte is well-known for its picturesque rocks of white limestone. During the years of rain and the salt wind from the sea levels have washed the stone, reminiscent of a staircase. According to legend, thousands of years ago landed here Saracens have these stages used to go to the country. This explains the Turkish origin of the name. White rocks and clean sea invite you to sunbathe and swim.
Realmonte itself is a small town with about 5,000 residents. Ehr was founded in the late 17th century by the family of a noble Duke Castrofilippo. The church of San Domenico, from the 17th century., Is the main attraction of the place. It was built in honor of Don Domenico.
Other famous attractions of Monte Real are the ruins of a Roman villa, which is located right on the beach "Capo Rossello".

2 Months in Paradise
We spent a very nice and relaxing vacation here for two months.
We were picked up by the landlord (Giovanni) at the gas station. On the way to the house, he showed us where to find shopping options such as grocery stores, bakeries, etc. We were told that there is a market in Realmonte every Tuesday. We had a lot of fun shopping at this market every time.
The house is quietly located on a hill next to the village and can only be reached via a small private path. We immediately felt comfortable here. The house has been lovingly prepared and has everything you need to feel comfortable.
The self-built grill also contributed to beautiful evenings.
If a problem had occurred, we could have called at any time and Anna and Giovanni would have taken care of it immediately.
Humanity and hospitality are lived here.
From the terrace, you can see the sea and enjoy the surrounding nature. The beautiful sunsets were also a feast for the eyes. We were allowed to pick fruit from the garden ourselves, such as grapes and rose apples... thank you again for that.
We tried and enjoyed the beaches that were recommended to us.
We can recommend this villa with the best knowledge and conscience!
Little tip: The weather is always beautiful here!
The 2 months passed too quickly.
Anna and Giovanni have become good friends to us!

sicilian paradise
What should I write?
I am still at a loss for words.
The price/performance ratio is right anyway, but it is not the first aspect that comes to mind, which is why I won't go into it any further
It is the flair of this house, which was built with love and passion and stands almost alone on a mountain directly on the Mediterranean Sea, which was apparently built especially for this house
Fabulous
Indescribable.
Pure nature and yet the centre of Realmonte is only a stone's throw away
If a problem should occur (we had none), the obliging landlords will solve it immediately
Humanity and hospitality were probably invented there
The cultural and culinary tips from the landlord are priceless. Thank you very much for this!
The sea there is like something out of a postcard and does not need to hide from Caribbean beaches with its temperatures and sandy beaches
The holiday there was wonderful.
Peace, relaxation, nature and yet there is also action for those who want it. An excursion to Etna is also within reach and should be experienced

Villa Giovanni
Unfortunately, we only spent a "taster week" in Sicily, but thanks to Giovanni's warm introduction, we settled right in. The villa is situated on a hill, which guarantees a wonderful distant view. Our two boys especially liked the spacious property with its "wildlife", because where else can you see such beautiful lizards, geckos and horrors?!
Everything was available in and around the house, nothing was missing. And if there was, then a call to Giovanni would certainly have been enough and it would have been brought over.

Nice when expectations are still exceeded
Every day was beautiful ! The house was on a first-name basis with us from the first glance. Realmonte is a modest little town, the people give the place its own positive character. One is glad that one can buy pretty much everything there and it is not far to Agrigento (e.g. Jacobs filter coffee at the Penny!) You can't get to the beautiful beaches on foot, but they are easy to reach by car (bicycle too). We were always almost alone there. Water temperature was about 15-16°, air 34° on two days, otherwise at least 20°. Giovanni and Anna Cappello are the warmest and most helpful landlords there can be; always there when needed.

Restful spring days in Realmonte
My husband and I spent a very nice week in the holiday villa in Realmonte, rural and yet centrally located. The house is very spacious, well equipped and well integrated into the beautiful nature. The landlords speak German and are available at any time, even when it comes to excursion tips, etc.
Thank you for the great time, we would love to come back!

Wonderful quiet house with family connection
A very loving house in a quiet location, basically a dream house. Also well suited for 2 people with a diligent and uncomplicated landlord who takes great care of everything and also has great tips on site. Highly recommended!!!!

Heavenly location
I was with my husband during Easter time in this wonderful holiday villa. It is located in a quiet location, surrounded by nature. The view of the sea is simply fantastic and you can experience romantic sunsets. The landlords are very nice people and always on site when you need them. The villa is very well equipped. I can only recommend it.

Great vacation
My husband and I had a great vacation in Sicily. The holiday home is great...clean and the landlords are very nice...in addition, they speak German. You have a wonderful sea view and the location is very quiet. I can only recommend it to everyone!
