Suitable for 2-3 persons, also 2 adults and 2 children. With washing machine, microwave, TV, internet, terrace, garden, swing, garden house for storing bicycles all to yourself, no other guests, absolute quiet, ideal for relaxing, writing, reading, exploring the heath and surroundings.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is completely at ground level and surrounded by a garden with fir trees, trees and lawn. The living space is approx. 60 m² and is suitable for up to 4 people. There is a large garden house in the garden where you can store your bicycles.

The bright entrance area offers space for your wardrobe and shoes.
The living area with adjoining terrace has a built-in book corner, a dining area and a cosy sofa corner. Books, games, a new flat screen TV with DVD player and a CD player are available. The sofa in the living room has a sleep function for another one or two persons.
The new fitted kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, mixer and various kitchen utensils.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with WC, washstand with mirror cabinet and bathtub with shower.
Bedroom
In the bedroom there is a large, carpentered double bed with two single mattresses. There is a large wardrobe and an additional washstand.
Garden
From the living room you have direct access to the covered terrace with lighting and garden furniture. The garden is ideal for sunbathing (sun lounger available), playing ball or swinging. Barbecuing is also possible with an existing coal barbecue as well as a fire basket with barbecue function.
You can safely store your bicycles in the spacious, lockable garden shed. The Höpen, the most beautiful part of the small town, is a 10-minute walk from Haus Schneverdingen. It is a wonderful natural region with extensive heath areas and forests of oaks, beeches and pines interspersed with soft, white sandy paths. The colourful heath garden, the 2 sheep pens housing the herd of heidschnucken, which are driven out and in daily, are also part of it. You will also find the de Bruycker art exhibition in the thatched house with piano evenings, 2 very good cafes and a large restaurant.
On the last weekend in August, the large annual Heideblütenfest (Heath Blossom Festival) with the crowning of the Heide Queen takes place in the town of Schneverdingen. The big local festival is framed by the three big "F "s: festival procession, festival play and fireworks. The lantern parade and the people's run also invite guests to join in. Dancing with live music, a funfair with rides, open shops and the northern German beer tent atmosphere also transform the town into a great experience.
The Pietzmoor is a high moorland area near Schneverdingen. An approx. 5 km long circular path on wooden planks leads through a wonderful and mysterious moor landscape. A special animal and plant world opens up to you. Nature is attractive all year round, as the moorland is characterised by the cotton grass blossom in spring, the adder in summer, the mist in autumn and the snow and ice landscapes in winter. Especially the cotton grass blossom in combination with the spider webs in the morning dew are very impressive.
The thatched weather huts scattered throughout the forest invite you to have a picnic. The region can also be explored very well by horse-drawn carriage or bicycle. The coachmen and women will be happy to introduce you to the local flora and fauna.
The heath is also ideal for birdwatchers, butterfly watchers, nature photographers, mushroom and berry pickers.
Camp Reinsehlen
Camp Reinsehlen" is an open area with nutrient-poor and dry sandy soils. So-called "rough grassland biotopes" have formed there and since a narrow asphalted road runs through it, the area is ideal for inline skating and cycling. It is located on the outskirts of Schneverdingen in the direction of Wintermoor. It was the former tank training area of the British and Canadian forces and has been renaturalised after the withdrawal of the forces in 1994.

Nicht unbedingt nochmal
Von den Bewertungen waren wir eigentlich angetan und dachte ,na diesmal passt ja alles. Es waren ja keine aktuellen Bewertungen ,das sollte man auch beachten. Kontakt gab es garnicht ,weder mit Frau Gassel noch mit ihrem Verwalter. Wir wollen nicht ,das man ständig gefragt wird ,aber wenigstens ein Anruf ,ob alles in Ordnung ist, ist u. E. das mindeste. Das in den Schränken überall angefangene Tüten mit Lebensmittel stehen ,ist auch nicht jedermanns Sache. Für Frau Gassel mag das schon in Ordnung sein ,wenn sie ein Teil ihrer Zeit in dem Haus verbringt aber doch nicht für Urlauber.

es tut uns leid, dass wir Ihre Erwartungen nicht gänzlich erfüllen konnten. Wir wundern uns darüber, dass es aus Ihrer Sicht keinen Kontakt mit uns gab. Wir haben öfer telefoniert und unser Verwalter hat Sie mehrfach besucht, um z.B. Ihren Wunsch nach zusätzlichen Handtüchern zu erfüllen.
Gelegentlich lassen Gäste Packungen mit haltbaren Lebensmitteln in den Schränken stehen. Solche Produkte wie Salz, Pfeffer oder Zucker entsorgen wir nicht, weil sich nachfolgende Gäste meist freuen, diese nicht selbst kaufen zu müssen. Auf Wunsch entsorgen wir störende Lebensmittel natürlich.

Class
We felt very comfortable here. Everything you need for a nice vacation is available. The house is located very quietly on a direct path to the Höpener Heidegarten. Can only recommend it. The landlady, Mrs. Gassel, is very nice, as is the caretaker, Mr. Vogt.

Traumurlaub
Bei dem Ferienhaus handelt es sich um ein Haus in sehr guter Lage. Man kann zu Fuß in den Ort Schneverdingen gehen, Geschäfte wie z.B. ein Lidl oder Rossmann, Tankstelle, Eisdiele und Restaurants sind schnell erreichbar. Zum spazieren gehen, braucht man nur über die Straße gehen, dann ist man direkt im Feld bzw. Wald. Unmittelbar dahinter (ca. 10-15 Minuten Fußweg) befindet sich der wunderschöne Heidegarten. Dieser lädt zu stundenlangen Spaziergängen ein. Man kann von dort den Ein-bzw. Austrieb der Heidschnucken beobachten. Zum Ausruhen sind reichlich Bänke vorhanden und wer Hunger oder Durst hat, für den ist auch gesorgt. Von Schneverdingen aus, gibt es sehr viele Ausflugsziele. Langeweile gibt es dort nicht. Das Ferienhaus ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet und ich kann sagen, dass wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Der eingezäunte Garten lädt zum grillen, sonnen und entspannen ein. Mit Frau Gassel (Vermieterin) hatten wir ein sehr netten Kontakt. Auf diesem Wege möchten wir uns nochmal ganz herzlich für alles bei Frau Gassel bedanken. Auch ein Lob an Herrn Vogt (Verwalter). Auch mit ihm war die Kommunikation einfach klasse. Vielen Dank auch dafür. Wir hatten bei traumhaft schönem Wetter einen unvergesslich und wunderschönen Urlaub. Wir werden sicherlich nochmal wieder kommen und die Unterkunft auch weiter empfehlen.

Schönes kleines Ferienhaus
Wir haben uns in diesem schönen kleinen Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Aus dem großen hellen Wohnzimmer hat man durch das Panoramafenster einen wunderbaren Gartenblick. Alle Räume waren sehr sauber. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders schön ist auch der kleine Außensitzplatz mit direktem Zugang zum Wohnzimmer.
Herzlichen Dank auch an den sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Verwalter.

Dear guests, as a landlady from North Rhine-Westphalia and a long-time holidaymaker on the Heath, I appreciate the advantages of the Lüneburg Heath and especially of the climatic health resort Schneverdingen ! As I always like to use the house in Schneverdingen myself, it is very well equipped and offers all the amenities you won't find in usual holiday homes. Moreover, it is freshly renovated inside and partly equipped with new furniture, bathroom and hallway are freshly renovated.
