Due to cancellations because of the Corona crisis, there are still some nice weekends to book at a last minute price, namely the Ascension weekend (21 May) and the weekend of 5 June. The former inn "Zur schönen Aussicht" in the small Eifel community of Harscheid in the beautiful Ahr valley, has been completely renovated and converted into a luxurious holiday home for up to 18 people.
Situated in a quiet side street, this holiday home with its 8 bedrooms (all with private shower and WC), a large catering kitchen incl. freezer as well as wellness garden with sauna, large dining room incl. the old bar, terrace with barbecue corner and much more, offers the ideal starting point for your holiday with friends or family in the Ahr valley
In the living room with its cosily furnished fireplace corner you will also find the TV set on which you can receive all German and Dutch TV channels.
The large garage under the house can be used to store cars, bicycles, etc. on request
Due to its central location, you can reach numerous excursion destinations such as the Nürburgring, Phantasialand, the towns of Ahrweiler, Altenahr, ... within a very short time. For nature lovers and hikers, the region offers a variety of possibilities with its hiking and cycling trails.
For motorbike enthusiasts, the Ahr valley with its winding roads offers beautiful viewpoints or historic towns such as Adenau or Monschau. If you want to leave your bike behind, it is safely stored in the large garage against wind and weather.

The municipality of Harscheid is situated on a ridge of the Ahr Mountains near the town of Adenau (at the Nürburgring), which is famous for racing. Harscheid offers a phanthastic view over the Hohe Acht (848m), the Nürburg at the Nürburgring, the Ahr valley and the 623 m high Aremberg, which belongs to the Vukanfeld of the High Eifel. Harscheid is located in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate, but only a "stone's throw" away from our neighbours from North Rhine-Westphalia (approx. 2 km). An ideal place for people who want to live their leisure time in nature, who are looking for peace and quiet far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, who need a fresh breeze in summer or who want to have a snowball fight with their children in winter.

Everything the heart desires
I truly have nothing to criticize about the holiday home with the beautiful view. The equipment is phenomenal, the reception was very warm and the support was also very good and friendly. Definitely worth the price and we will gladly come back! :)

Great house for a weekend with a large family.
We arrived with an 18-person family (from toddler to senior) to spend a weekend together. Our expectations were more than fulfilled. There is a lot of space, both indoors for bad weather and outdoors on the balcony. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. Everything we needed was available.
Any contact with the landlords was very friendly and pleasant. Thank you very much for that!

Zeer goed.
Ons verblijf is zeer goed bevallen. Op de foto's ziet het uitzicht er mooi uit, maar in realiteit is deze nog veel mooier! Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en de bedden en badkamers zijn zeer netjes.
Volgend jaar komen wij terug!

Prachtig huis met schitterend uitzicht
Wij waren met onze vriendengroep de "Culicaners", die uit 16 personen bestaat, een lang weekend te gast in " Zur Schonen Auszicht " in Harscheid. Het is een voormalige Gaststube die omgebouwd is tot een uitstekend geoutilleerd vakantieverblijf voor 16 personen. Een grote gezellige verblijfsruimte met functionerende bar en in dezelfde ruimte grote tafels met voldoende stoelen om gezellig samen te eten. De keuken is professioneel ingericht met twee grote kookplaten, oven en snelle afwasmachine. Het serviesgoed en bestek is in zeer ruime mate aanwezig net als de pannen etc. Het huis is schoon en opgeruimd zodat je je er meteen thuis voelt. Ook aan de liefhebbers van een sauna is gedacht. Het uitzicht over de omgeving is adembenemend. Voor de liefhebbers van wandelingen is er veel te beleven. Het dichtbij gelegen plaatsje Schuld (3 km) kan de startplaats zijn van een keur van korte of lange wandelingen in een geologisch interessante omgeving. Er zijn voldoende mooie plaatsen in de buurt om ook eens te bezoeken. Kortom, een prachtig huis met vele mogelijkheden om je een fijn vakantiegevoel te geven. Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug.

Everything was great.
Last week we were guests at the Vroemen family's house with our family. We were greeted with coffee, tea, and cookies in the afternoon. Then we were shown the rooms and instructed on how to use them. All rooms are new, friendly, and very functional. The kitchen is equipped with professional appliances. The house has a large sauna with its own relaxation area. There is a large bar with a lounge area available. All guests can eat together at one table inside or outside. A gas grill is available on the terrace. The house is all around great and suitable for summer and winter stays. We all felt very comfortable and the Vroemen family is very nice.

Herbstwandern im Ahrtal
Bestens ausgestattetes und Top-Renoviertes Haus (ehemalige Gaststätte). Schankraum und Bar sind erhalten geblieben und bieten ein gemütliches Ambiente. Großer Tisch für gemeinsames Essen, Spieleabende etc. sowie großer, gemütlicher Gemeinschaftsraum mit TV, DVD, etc....
Die Gastroküche bietet viel Platz zum gemeinsamen Kochen für eine große Gruppe, die Zimmer sind alle neu und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und haben fast alle eigene Bäder. Abgerundet wird das ganze mit einer großen Terrasse mit der besagten "Schönen Aussicht" (sicher eher im Sommer gut zu nutzen) und einer Sauna. Tolle Lage oberhalb des Ahrtals, bestens für anspruchsvolle Wander -oder Radtouren geeignet oder auch als Ausgangspunkt für Motorradtouren in der Eifel (u. a. Nürburgring in ca. 25 Km Entfernung).
Nächste Einkaufsgelegenheit ist allerdings 3 km entfernt. Wir (Wandergruppe mit 12 Männern) waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal hier!

Ein super Kurzurlaub in der Eifel.
Wir haben mit 15 Pers. die 4 Tage, in der gemütlichen Gaststätte, sehr genossen. In dem Haus wurde an Alles gedacht, aber wirklich an Alles: die Küche komplett ausgestattet, die Schlafzimmer gross und die Betten sehr bequem (alles neu), die Aufenthaltsräume ...die Sauna, mit Musik und Beläuchtung, die Gegend, die Natur, das Wetter...unbeschreiblich, einfach toll !!! Das Haus ist sofort weiter emfohlen und wird, von uns, weiter in Anspruch genommen. Herzlichen Dank dafür !!!

Tolles Haus
Sehr schöne Zimmer, gute Betten (Mit Automat. Beleuchtung unter dem Bett), tolle Aussicht. Häuser für Gruppen sind selten und das eines der Extraklasse, der Wohnraum ist riesig ( ehemalige Gaststätte). Die Küche ist die Krönung des ganzen, super für eine Hobbykochgruppe. Gerne wieder!

Alles bestens!
Dieses Ferienhaus (ehemals Dorfgasthaus) wurde mit viel Liebe und Geschmack renoviert und ausgestattet. Die große Profi-Küche und der ehemalige Schankraum laden zu geselligem Kochen und Beisammensitzen ein.
Gemütliche Fernseh-Ecke, grosse Terrasse mit Fernblick (einzig der Grill ist eher unpraktisch und etwas nervig zu reinigen).
Die Zimmer ansprechend eingerichtet (Achtung, did Betten sind etwas höher!), Sehr angenehm die integrierten Duschbäder!
Kleine aber gute Sauna, hübsch angelegte überdachte Sitzecke im Innenhof - perfektes Feriendomizil!

Geweldige vakantiewoning
Prachtig gerenoveerd voormalig hotel, waarbij elke kamer zijn eigen badkamer heeft.
Verder aanwezig zijn een professionele keuken, een bar, een gezellige huiskamer en een ruim balkon.
Zowel vanaf het balkon als vanuit de huiskamer heeft men een schitterend uitzicht over het "Ahrtal".

Langes Wochenende mit Freunden
Das Haus, insbesondere die Küche, ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt wirklich nichts. Besonders angenehm ist, dass jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad hat. Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett. Werden dieses Haus auf jeden Fall wieder mieten.

Urlaub mit Freunen
Hatten sechs schöne Tage, trotz ganz schlechtem Wetter. Ehemaliger Thekenraum ist wunderbar für gemütliche Abende. Plus: Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Die Gastroküche ist der Hammer! Die Sauna auch. Sehr nette Vermieter. Minus:Sehr weit weg vom Rest der Welt. Kein Speißelokal, Metzger , Bäcker vor Ort. Fernsehraum und Thekenraum sind zusammen, was Fernsehen fast unmöglich macht. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. würden jeder Zeit wieder hin fahren.
