A warm welcome !
In the midst of the most beautiful nature of MV you will find our thatched holiday home on more than 1000m² at the edge of a holiday home settlement with its own jetty for lots of fun on Lake Plauer See.
It is equipped with a cosy living and dining area, a bathroom with shower and a large sleeping area for 2-4 people under the traditionally thatched roof.
The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, cooker with ceramic hob, oven, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, water and egg boiler and toaster. In the living area there is a comfortable corner sofa that can be pulled out and an LCD HD TV.
In the morning you can enjoy your breakfast on the large terrace with a view of the lake and cheerfully chirping birds, or in the evening you can enjoy a cosy barbecue at sunset.
On hot days, cooling off in Lake Plauer See is a blessing, because the water of the lake feels pleasantly soft on the skin. We have our own bathing area where you can take off your clothes. A pedal boat is available for exploring, water sports or fishing. We also offer a mooring for a guest boat.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday cottage is located in the Heidenholz district and has its own direct access to the lake with a jetty. The climatic health resort of Plau am See is a small town to the west of Lake Plau. Here you will find many shopping facilities for your daily needs, pharmacies, doctors, banks and also many friendly gastronomic establishments with local dishes such as freshly smoked fish or Mecklenburg rib roast, which tempt you to linger.
You can stroll along the Metow to the lighthouse and look out over the lake.
Many excursions turn your holiday into an experience, whether by bike or passenger ship, there are several destinations nearby such as AGRONEUM - Alt Schwerin, a summer toboggan run, monkey and bear forest, a bison enclosure and in Waren the Müritzeum and much more. The petting zoo in the holiday park Heidenholz (approx. 200 m from the house) Ponies, donkeys, goats, alpaca, rabbits are waiting for your visit

Draisinentour - the nature experience for the whole family
Platschow elephant farm - an unforgettable experience for young and old.
We can also recommend a visit to the Plau Castle Museum, the show apiary, the felt factory, the Wangelin Garden, the Gnevsdorf Clay Museum, the Lübzer Kunstspeicher or the Karpow Nature Park Info Centre.
Whether a discovery tour with the 'round bus double-decker' of the Tscutschu-Bahn or by horse-drawn carriage, with the Aero-Nord a sightseeing flight with a Cessna - experience an adventure in Mecklenburg Vorpommern!

Schöner Familienurlaub am See
Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Für zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind ist das Haus ideal. Wir hatten in der Woche super Wetter, somit konnten wir zur jeder Tageszeit auf der Terrasse gemütlich sitzen, auf den See schauen und die Natur genießen... Das dazu gehörige Tretboot, haben wir oft genutzt... Ein Highlight war für uns "bei Sonnenuntergang" auf dem See zu fahren. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Danke für die tolle Zeit, gern wieder. :)
PS: Bei der ersten Bewertung haben wir uns bei den Sternen vertippt, vielleicht kann man diese löschen?!?

Kleines Idyll
Wir genossen 2 sehr schöne Wochen im Haus Nautilus. Total ruhige Lage mit Blick auf den Plauer See. Prima zum entspannen und erholen. Man hat einen eigenen Zugang zum See, wo man prima schwimmen kann.
Das Haus ist hübsch maritim dekoriert und zum Teil auch so ausgestattet.
Für 2 Personen gut geeignet. Bei 4 Personen wird es recht eng werden.
Vielleicht sollte man mal nachdenken, die Möbel im Wohn-/Esszimmer zu modernisieren.
Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und die ganze Kommunikation war freundlich und unkompliziert.

Our hometown is 100 km away, but this does not stop us from welcoming our tenants and greeting them personally.
