Description
Well-kept and cosy holiday flat on a "real" farm with chickens, cows, calves and cats in the beautiful wind-protected Schmalzdobl in the Bavarian Forest.
The Eggerlhof is located in the "Meran of the Bavarian Forest" in Kühbach near Ringelai. The area is so called because our valley is sheltered from wind and weather and has an exquisitely mild climate. Directly in front of our farm the European pilgrimage path "Via Nova" , which leads through 3 countries, passes by. A few minutes' walk away, the Wolfsteiner Ohe meanders through our valley, leading from Freyung through one of Bavaria's most beautiful geotopes - the Buchberger Leite (a wild, rushing torrent gorge with a suspension bridge). Not far from our house (approx. 8 km) flows the river Ilz, also called the black Ilz. This then meets the Danube and Inn in Passau.
Nearby are the Bavarian Forest National Park, the mountains Arber, Lusen, Dreisessel and Rachel. We have nature right on our doorstep, the lush green of the surrounding meadows and forests invites you to hike and relax.
Our lovingly furnished 90 m² non-smoking flat is suitable for
2-5 persons and is equipped with the following:
- 2 bedrooms 2 + 3 beds (also a toddler bed is available)
- 1 kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric cooker, kettle, coffee machine,
- 1 living room with TV/SAT, stereo with balcony
Shower/WC - towels are provided, hairdryer is available
Terrace with seating and barbecue facilities
Parking space in front of the flat
High chair and various other things are provided free of charge for the little guests on request
Our offer for you
On request you will receive daily fresh milk.
The laundry room with washing machine and dryer can be used for a fee.
Price for 4 persons 60,00 €/day - each additional person 5 €/day plus visitor's tax
Pets are allowed on request - a flat rate of 20 € will be charged
Use of playground equipment - children are also allowed to ride on the tractor on occasion
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are of course provided
In Ringelai there are shopping facilities that provide everything you need for your stay, such as a supermarket, drinks market, butcher's shop and bakery. There is also a dentist and a general practitioner.
Culturally, the Gabreta - a Celtic village in Ringelai should be mentioned, as well as an experience for the whole family is the Pullman City Western Town, the treetop path in Neuschönau or the much used toboggan run in Grafenau.
You can also explore very beautiful areas in the Czech Republic, such as the Vltava reservoir or the tree top walk in Lipno, or bicycle tours are also very popular.

In our large holiday flat with terrace you will find everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
We are a fully managed dairy farm with a large and spacious yard area (we keep approx. 50 dairy cows with offspring, we also have chickens and cats).

Cosy holiday apartment
Very clean and cozy holiday apartment with its own entrance and parking space in front of the entrance door. Large open stable with milking parlors. Calves, cats, chickens and a rabbit! For animal lovers, an el dorado! Quiet location in a small district of Ringelai. Very nice, friendly and helpful host family! Highly recommended! We'll be back!

A real farm!
Large, beautiful courtyard. Apartment in a "real" farmhouse with a classic cozy living kitchen, lots of space and a terrace for sitting & grilling. Courtyard in a small village. Very child-friendly hosts!
