Around Mähring, numerous marked paths lead through the healthy and densely wooded low mountain landscape. Here, hikers and cyclists get their money's worth. In winter, cross-country skiing trails are available around Mähring.
Mähring, with its border crossing to the Czech Republic, is ideally situated for excursions to the neighbouring Egerland. The spa town of Mariánské Lázné ( Marienbad ) is about 20 km away. The capital Prague is also a worthwhile destination for a day trip.
In the German border region, the towns of Tirschenreuth, Waldsassen and Neualbenreuth with the Sybillenbad (spa) are worth a visit. Trips to the Waldnaab Valley, Fichtel Mountains and Bavarian Forest are also recommended.

Highly recommended apartment
By far one of the best holiday apartments we have had so far. Very clean, beautiful and comfortable beds, suitable for pets.

Very satisfied. !!!
We arrived with our cat and hamster and felt right at home. We would go there again anytime and would recommend it to others. The landlady is also very obliging and nice.

Holiday in a quiet and beautiful environment close to Czechia
If you want a beautiful and peaceful holiday near the Czech Republic, with many attractions, I recommend renting a holiday home from Mrs. Edeltraud Hampl. She is very friendly and helpful. From your holiday accommodation, you can also go on cycling tours in the area. The address is located on a cycling route.
