Our holiday home consists of 2-3 cosy flats. The large flat (approx. 90 sqm) is well equipped and can also be divided for smaller groups of people. It is interesting for couples who are friends, as it also has two double rooms and two bathrooms. One of the double rooms is also equipped with an additional bunk bed. The spacious living room invites you to relax. A comfortable kitchen with a cosy dining area and a covered outdoor seating area with natural wood garden furniture in the spacious idyllic outdoor area round off the holiday feeling of well-being. It has 1 double room, 1 single room, 1 complete kitchen with cosy dining area, 1 living room, 1 bathroom and 1 separate toilet. There is ample parking space directly in front of the house.

Set back from the main road to Hohenberg/Eger, our holiday home "Christiane" is in a quiet location in the border village of Schirnding. It is surrounded by meadows and fields on 3 sides. Schirnding is located in the beautiful Fichtelgebirge (nature park in the districts of Wunsiedel and Bayreuth) in the idyllic Röslautal. There are many well-signposted hiking and cycling trails in the wooded surroundings. The market town lies 464 m above sea level and is connected to the international Paris-Prague (Frankfurt-Nuremberg-Marktredwitz-Eger) train line with a border station.
Only 2 km to the 'German Porcelain Museum' in Hohenberg/Eger, and to Hohenberg Castle with its medieval knights' festival every weekend after Whitsun. A healthy, idyllically situated acidulous spring is also within easy reach during a walk from the holiday home.
2 km to the border crossing to the Czech Republic, 9 km to Eger and Franzensbad (-with a beautiful golf course), the spa triangle of Franzensbad, Marienbad and Karlsbad can be reached within a very short time, approx. 2.5 hours by car to Prague. 35 km to the Vogtland (via the Czech Republic). 2 km to factory outlets for porcelain and terry goods from the Feiler company, 4 km to factory outlets for gingerbread from the Frank company and sausages from the Houdek company. 2 km to the German Porcelain Museum in Hohenberg, 4 km to the heated Arzberg open-air swimming pool with giant slide and bistro, 6 km to the Feisnitz reservoir, 6 km to the 'Folklore Equipment Museum' in Bergnersreuth, 9 km to the world-famous Trinity Church 'Kappl' and 12 km to the 'Basilica' Waldsassen.

Great flat, happy to come back!
The accommodation is in a quiet, beautiful location in Schirnding. It is very well maintained, spotlessly clean and
almost perfectly equipped.

Very nice holiday in the Fichtel Mountains
We arrived with 6 adults and had a very nice relaxing holiday. The landlords welcomed us warmly and were very accommodating, helpful and always had very good recommendations (10 extra points for this :-) ). We felt very comfortable and made many excursions. We especially enjoyed the garden with covered terrace and jacuzzi. Thanks again for the use of the barn. Here we could play table tennis very well and use the badminton we brought with us

Very nice holiday home
We were on holiday as a family with 3 generations and rented the whole holiday home for a long weekend
We liked it very much. The equipment and cleanliness of the house and especially the friendliness of the landlords are particularly noteworthy. The house is in a very quiet location and Schirnding is a good starting point for hikes and excursions. We will be happy to come back!

Time out in November
We felt very comfortable. Vacation rental well equipped and very clean.

Great accommodation and host
We (2 adults and 2 teens) had a wonderful stay in the ground floor apartment, which is equipped with everything you need. The outdoor area is also great and can be used really well (hot tub, grill, chairs, and benches also in the shade).
The hosts Evi and Klaus are super nice and helpful and take great care of their guests.
We will gladly come back.

Immer wieder gerne
Wir waren schon zum dritten Mal zu Gast in dieser schönen Ferienwohnung und würden immer wieder kommen...Die Eheleute Schelter sind top Vermieter!Sie haben uns wie immer herzlich empfangen und stehen bei Bedarf mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Die Ferienwohnungen sind sehr sauber und es ist alles da was man braucht.Nur zu empfehlen! Wir nutzten das Haus mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern und sind super zufrieden. Es war ein schöner Urlaub.

Tolles Haus, klasse Vermieter, absolut empfehlenswert
Aufgrund der wirklich guten Bewertungen hier auf der Seite haben wir uns für diese sehr gut ausgestattete Fewo entschieden. Das Haus liegt in ruhiger Lage, etwas zurück gesetzt von der Straße direkt an einer großen Wiese, einfach herrlich. Wir sind als Mehrgenerationen Großfamilie mit insgesamt 7 Personen angereist (von 7-79 Jahren)
Wir haben uns von Beginn an sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten als MTB Radfahrer sehr viel Spaß bei unseren Ochsenkopf Downhill Fahrten oder dem PumpTrack in Selb gehabt.
Unsere Vermieter Familie, Karli und Evi Schelter sind sehr angenehme, liebevolle und unaufdringliche Gastgeber, die uns viele Tipps zu Ihrer schönen Heimat geben konnten.
Gerne denke ich an die schöne Zeit zurück an der wir abends bei einem Bier zusammen gesessen haben und miteinander gesprochen haben.
Wir haben das genossen, dies ist aber keine Pflicht. Wer seine Ruhe haben will, dem wird Selbige auch gewährt.
Haus Christiane wird bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder die erste Wahl sein, das ist Fact.

Eine super Ferienwohnung
Wir haben eine sehr gut ausgestattete Fewo in ruhiger Lage angetroffen. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und viele Ausflüge machen können. Familie Schelter sind sehr liebevolle, angenehme Gastgeber, die uns viele Tipps gegeben haben und uns einiges persönlich gezeigt haben. Selbst meine 88-jährige Mutter hat sich wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Spülmaschine nziges Manko, zum Einkaufen und zum Restaurantbesuch braucht man ein Auto oder ein Fahrrad. Nochmals vielen Dank.

Für die ganze Familie
Wir haben hier eine tolle Ferienwohnung gefunden, die sehr zu empfehlen ist, tolle Lage, schöne Ausstattung und ein herzlicher Empfang sowie die Betreuung war sehr zu familiär. Wir waren leider nur 4 Nächte da aber diese waren super...rund rum gibt es jede Menge zu erleben für groß und klein

Rentner-Ehepaar
Alles war für uns BESTENS! Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge und Wanderungen, auch gibt es viele Feste und Ausstellungen. Kleine und große Spaziergänge sind von Schirnding aus in allen Richtungen möglich. Das Ehepaar Schelter ist auch bereit auf Wunsch und kostenlos Reiseführer zu spielen z. B. ein Ausflug nach Tschechien etc. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Toller Urlaub !!!
Wir kamen als Gäste und gingen als Freunde. Der Aufenthalt war einfach nur Erholung pur.Es fehlte uns an nichts.Sauberkeit und Wohlfühlen wird hier gross geschrieben. Familie Schelter einen lieben Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub !!
Es gibt so vieles zu entdecken und das alles in wenigen Fahrminuten.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit sehr netten Vermietern
Wir haben in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung einen traumhaft schönen Urlsub verbracht. Das Haus liegt sehr zentral und man kann von hier aus alles auf kurzen Wegen erreichen: Bayreuth, Karlsbad und Msrienbad in Tschechien usw.
Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen: eine wunderschöne Terasse, eine vollständig bzw. voll ausgestattete Küche mit wirklich ALLEN elektrischen Geräten, große Bäder, ein schönes Wohnzimmer und große Schlafzimmer. Ein Whirlpool im Garten ist dann noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem I.
Aber am allerbesten sind die Vermieter: so herzliche und hilfsbereite Menschen trifft man nur selten im Leben und dieses Ehepaar macht einen Urlaub in diesem schönen Haus zu einem unvergessenen Erlebnis.
Fazit: Wir kamen als Fremde und gehen als Freunde!!!!

Urlaub 2016
Wir sind schon seit einigen Jahren immer gerne wieder hier. Die Wohnungen sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist optimal, auch eine Spülmaschine fehlt nicht. Die überdachte Terrasse lädt bei jedem Wetter zum Verweilen ein,selbst ein Grill ist vorhanden.
Die Gegend ist sehr schön und bietet viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung.
Die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
