The holiday apartment is located in the right part of the old manor house. It was completely renovated in 2013 and now offers 130 m2 of dreamy country house style paired with modern functionality. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room with open fireplace, an open kitchen with cooking island (induction hob), floor-to-ceiling glass fronts to the large terrace. And all this on a farm with species-appropriate animal husbandry (cattle, sheep, chickens, horses, bees) in a dreamlike secluded location. 15 minutes by car to the Baltic Sea beaches of Weißenhaus and Sehlendorf, several bathing lakes in the immediate vicinity.

Kirchmühl is in an absolutely secluded location, the next village (Kirchnüchel) is about 2 km away on a concrete slab path. The Bungsberg (highest elevation in Schleswig-Holstein) with its nature discovery centre is within sight (approx. 30 min walk). Adventure playgrounds in the forest delight the children and parents can enjoy a coffee in the restaurant. In winter, when there is enough snow, there is even a ski lift and tobogganing on the Bungsberg is great fun for locals and "alpinists" alike.
Directly from your holiday home you can go hiking and cycling through a varied nature. Forests, fields, Holstein Switzerland is known for its variety.
Kirchnüchel is a very small village consisting of a few houses, another estate, a restaurant and a church. The nearest village with various shopping facilities is Schönwalde. Here you will find a supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, doctors, etc.
Worthwhile excursion destinations are the Hanseatic city of Lübeck with its old town worth seeing, Kiel with the Kiel Fjord (very popular especially during Kiel Week). Both cities can be reached in 30 minutes by car. The small towns of Eutin, Plön, Lütjenburg and the harbour town of Neustadt invite you for a nice stroll.
