Our cosy log cabin "Haus Amsel" is located in a green holiday home settlement surrounded by Pomeranian forest landscape on the edge of the village of Bodstedt and the nature reserve "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft". It therefore guarantees a relaxed and peaceful holiday. Mild coastal climate, kilometres of fine sandy beaches and rustic forests form an idyllic location. Time out in the countryside - an ideal holiday resort at any time of year away from the hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts. Spend your holiday in our lovingly designed "Haus Amsel". The special ambience of the log house comes to the fore inside through the massive wooden trunks and the mild scent of wood
We are looking for permanent/regular tenants for our weekend house who would like to use it for their leisure time. Their rent is an annual rent and is calculated from seasonal days of use. If you are interested and have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Spend your holiday in our lovingly designed "Haus Amsel". The property covers 510 m² and the living space in the house is approx. 110 m². The log house was completed in January 2014. On the ground floor there is an open, fully equipped kitchen (if something is missing, we will take care of it), the living room with a couch and a nice, cosy fireplace, two bathrooms with large natural stone showers and hairdryer and a bedroom for 2 persons. The ground floor is tiled and has central underfloor heating. On the sunny terrace you can relax wonderfully and enjoy great barbecue evenings. There are garden chairs with adjustable backrests and cushions for sunbathing and a column air-circulation grill. The garden invites you to play, relax, linger and unwind.
On the upper floor there is sleeping accommodation for a further 5 people. A small lounge invites you to read.
We ask for your understanding that the house is a non-smoking house.

Friendly hosts are a matter of course for us: The contact person on site, Wolli (operator of Café & Bar Wolli) is available for all questions & problems.
The settlement: The holiday home settlement consists of 28 holiday homes and the Café & Bar Wolli. Due to the private road, only a few foreign cars stray into the settlement, so it is possible to let your children roam the area largely unsupervised. New friendships are often formed while romping through the woods and meadows. The plots are all so large that you can retreat and let your soul dangle. The diverse architectural styles of the houses are interesting to look at and result in a well-balanced settlement image. Perhaps there is a detail or two to copy for your own home.
The cycle path "Östlicher-Backstein-Rundweg", located directly in front of the settlement, takes you once around the entire Bodden, about 80 km. This can easily be done in one day, and if you like, you can shorten the trip by taking the Bodden ferries or buses. The beautiful Baltic Sea beach in Zingst is about 30 minutes away by bike. The cycle path is also suitable for inline skates, roller skates and skateboards. Jogging and Nordic walking are also recommended.
Café & Bar Wolli is a nice little summer café at the entrance to the settlement. It has four outdoor tables and six more in the guest room. The main business time is coffee time, in the evening it usually closes after sunset. On offer are coffee, freshly baked cakes and tarts, as well as various sundaes and ice creams. The homemade potato soup with prawns is highly recommended. In the evening, you can relax with a freshly tapped beer or cocktail. Or you can round off a busy day with the large selection of whiskies.

Location and surroundings of object
Bodstedt: The small harbour with the typical wooden fishing boats, the Zeesenbooten, is particularly beautiful. The oldest Zeesen boat regatta takes place every year on the first weekend in September. There is a landing stage for boat trips around the Bodden and translations to the Darß, and bicycles can be taken along. The local bathing beach is only three minutes away by bike. The shallow water zones are ideal for swimming beginners and water rats. Adults can relax on the large lawn next to it. The village has three small restaurants serving fresh fish and fried potatoes. The fisherman supplies holidaymakers and locals with fresh and smoked fish every day. Whether by bike, on foot or on horseback - experience the landscape and the charm of the village pure and close. You will spend your holiday in a quiet location. The Baltic Sea spa resort of Zingst (10 km) and the Baltic Sea resort of Prerow (18 km), both characterised by maritime traditions, are not far away. The Prerow Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Good shopping facilities, restaurants and evening events can be found in Barth (7 km). The Bodden and the Baltic Sea are an attractive area for water sports enthusiasts, there are countless offers. Hiking is in: a look off the beaten track is worthwhile, especially in autumn when thousands of cranes stop to rest on the Zingst.

Einmal und nie wieder
Eine völlig überzogenes Preis/leistungsverhälnis,
Gardinen verdreckt, Sitzkissen angefressen und verdreckt, Spinnweben besonders im Schlafzimmer - Mäuse in der Wohnung, total verdreckte Terasse, defekte Bettwäsche , muffeliges Inlet, vorzeitig abgereist, Entschädigung wurde abgelehnt.

Lieber Gast und liebe zukünftige Gäste,
wie in dem ersten Abschnitt unseres Inserat zu lesen, liegt das Haus mitten in der Natur umgeben von Wald und Wiesen. Vereinzelte Spinnen im und am Haus lassen sich nicht vermeiden. Auch der Besuch von Mäusen kann vorkommen. Ein Staubsauger für Spinnen und Mäusefallen sind im Haus vorhanden.
In den 3 Tagen nach der vorzeitigen Abreise konnten wir weder eine Maus fangen, noch Hinterlassenschaften von Mäusen finden. Den nächsten Gästen ist diesbezüglich auch nichts aufgefallen, woraus wir auf ein Einzelfall schließen.
Zur Sauberkeit:
Wir als Vermieter versuchen stets ein sauberes Objekt zu übergeben. Sollte dies einmal nicht der Fall sein, können wir jederzeit nachbessern. Es ist schon interessant, dass Sie weder bei Übergabe noch in den ersten 3 Tagen an denen Wetter super war, uns darauf angesprochen haben. Erst als es abzusehen war, dass das Wetter schlechter wird (und Sie hatten schon eine Woche schlechtes Wetter davor), haben Sie sich beschwert. Wir haben ihnen angeboten, noch am selben Tag, das Haus noch einmal auf unsere Kosten komplett zu reinigen. Das haben Sie kategorisch abgelehnt.
Für Zukünftige Mieter:
bitte beachten Sie, dass im Haus kein W-Lan vorhanden ist. LTE ist meist draußen vorhanden. Haben Sie vor im Urlaub ihre Lieblingsserie im Streaming Dienst zu schauen, sollten sie ein Haus mit W-Lan buchen oder ein Gerät mit Simkarte dabeihaben. Gerne würden wir es anbieten, leider haben wir weder Telefonkabel noch Internetkabel im Boden. Dies soll, laut dem Breitbandbeauftragten von Mecklenburg Vorpommern, „bis Oktober 2019“ geschehen.
Auf das Wetter haben wir keinen Einfluss.
Die Lage ist wie sie ist: eine Ferienhaussiedlung umgeben von Wald und Wiese. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern, sowie für einen Urlaub mit dem Hund.

Quaint cosy
We were here with friends for a long weekend.
We had great weather. Due to the good location of the house, popular excursion destinations on the Darß could be reached quickly. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the spacious terrace. When it got cooler in the evening, we cosily warmed ourselves by the small fireplace. In the evening we had a view of the nearby Bodden and could watch deer and geese, pure nature. We will definitely be back!
