Our newly built holiday home is for 4 people and is furnished in the most modern way. However, it still conveys the charm of a rural idyll in the forest. Here you will find peace and relaxation as well as experiences in the middle of nature.
Living room with spacious kitchenette, air conditioning, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, built-in cooker with ceramic hob, washing machine, etc.
Flat screen TV (German, Swedish and other satellite channels), WLAN internet on request, bedroom with 2 (new) beds, sleeping loft with 2 (new) beds, tiled bathroom with underfloor heating, WC and shower. Air conditioning ensures a comfortable temperature. Large terrace with barbecue and garden furniture. Family friendly. Large plot - 4500 sqm. Tips for organising your holiday are free of charge!

Andreas, Bautzen - Once upon a time, the land between Gothenburg and Stockholm was flooded after the Ice Age. After the land rose, idyllic niches in nature formed, which are also home to the very comfortable holiday home Lilla Grankärr. So the name is no coincidence. Because translated it means Small Spruce Swamps - a reference to the geological period (?) The very friendly landlords may have an answer to this. Actually, they can answer all the questions you need to know ... even more, they do research for extra wishes, offer bookings if a sight is very busy and would even do little guided tours. Very pleasant were also the small cheerful chats and the profound conversations about God and the world. They take great care of the holiday home family. The house is equipped like any modern flat - big flat screen TV, air conditioning, dishwasher, LED lighting... etc. And everything has been thoughtfully installed or positioned - even the terrace. The area is inviting for cycling and short trips to the lake. If you want to find (inner) peace, Lilla Grankärr is the place for you. But exciting excursions to Trollhättan, Lake Vänern, Gothenburg ... etc. offer the necessary active variety. There are also many possibilities for swimming fun. The house and the region is absolutely recommendable - the house is absolutely clean and tidy. I will definitely go to Lilla Grankärr again. I think I have made new friends - I would love to see them again.

And not to forget, the very beautiful nearer and (somewhat) further surroundings. We felt very comfortable here!

The landlords were very friendly and helpful. You could feel welcome and at home. We will gladly come back and can only recommend the house.

The house is fantastic. We felt really comfortable there in the middle of nature. We were there the last week of December and even got a Christmas tree :-) We didn't want for anything in the house. The landlords are very nice. They took good care of us before and during the trip. We got lots of great tips for excursions in the area. We can definitely recommend the house!

The holiday home is located in a clearing in the woods, no through road, 200 m to the nearest neighbour, we also live nearby. We will give you tips for excursions, shopping, restaurants, sightseeing ...
The cottage is located between Gothenburg and Trollhättan about 70 km north of Gothenburg. Here you can live in the middle of nature among deer, elk and moose, pick berries, mushrooms, go hiking and much more. This is the perfect place for nature and wildlife photographers and all other nature lovers. Other leisure activities include golf, fishing, swimming, trips to Trollhättan, Lake Vänern, old fishing villages on the west coast, etc.

Holiday
I spent a wonderful, relaxing holiday with my niece (37/61). We were warmly welcomed and there were no problems when we booked a few more days on site
The cottage with its terrace has everything you need on holiday

Nicht gür junge leute
An sich ist es ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Haus, mit ausreichend Ausstattung für alles was man braucht, leider haben die Vermieter, die am Anfang sehr nett und hilfsbereit schienen, keine Lust auf etwas jüngere Mieter (18/19 Jahre), und haben auf uns sehr unfreundlich reagiert und uns sehr beobachtet bzw bemuttert. Leider wurde uns auch ein Haus mit Ruhe und ohne Nachbarn versprochen, was aber nicht der Fall ist wenn die Vermieter direkt nebenan wohnen. Die nächtlichen und täglichen kontrollrundgänge, haben den Aufenthalt sehr unangenehm gemacht.Der See der angeblich nur 700m entfernt sollte ist unzugänglich, da ein unzumutbarer Weg durch den Wald bezwungen werden muss der durch Seile angezeigt werden sollen, diese leider verschwinden mitten im Wald, auch mit gps ist er nicht zu finden, was den Kauf von sehr teuren Angelsachen unnötig gemacht hat.
Auch der dort verhandene Grill, dient nur der Deko da in Schweden ein grillverbot herrschte, was die Vermieter uns erst gesagt haben nachdem wir Lebensmittel im Wert von 150€ gekauft haben, was wir weg schmeißen konnten. Ebenfalls haben wir die entreinigung selbst übernommen, beim Haus wurde bei der Übergabe nichts bemängelt, nachdem wir zuhause ankamen kam eine sehr unfreundliche E-Mail mit Mängeln die aufeinmal dort aufgetaucht sind. Mehrmals hat die Vermieterin auf unser junges Alter angespielt. Das Haus ist an Leute unter 30 scheinbar nicht zu empfehlen!

Relaxing time in the forest
The two of us enjoyed a very relaxing time in the cosy and well-kept little cottage. The somewhat secluded location in the forest and the beautiful, slightly shaded terrace offer a great opportunity to relax. In the surrounding forest you can meet deer that sometimes venture closer to the house, as well as the owl that occasionally visited us at night. A small, well-marked path leads through the forest to the lake Vanderydsvattnet. The shore is somewhat overgrown, but the adventurous can even find a place to swim here. For the more adventurous, the surrounding area has some nice bathing spots at large and small lakes, not least at the large Lake Vänern. There are great hiking opportunities of varying lengths at Eko-Park Halle- and Hunneberg, and you can enjoy some city life in Vänersborg or Trollhättan. So there is actually something for all interests and the house has a perfect location as a starting point for different activities. The landlords are very friendly and are always willing to give tips for activities on request. Despite the close proximity, we felt they showed a good sense of privacy and only occasionally asked if everything was okay
Overall, we had a great time and highly recommend the house!

What an insanely beautiful place!
The location is absolutely amazing! It is a bit remote in the forest, but still very quickly accessible to the nearest city by car. The quiet location in the woods guarantees a 100% relaxation factor, the sounds of nature sing you to sleep and are an inspiring companion on hikes and walks. The holiday home has everything you could wish for, from a TV to multiple very comfortable beds and rooms, to a fully functioning kitchen and a beautiful outdoor seating area. The Hübner family, who own the holiday cottage, are extremely hospitable, open-minded, and very nice. I absolutely recommend this holiday destination if you're taking a trip to Sweden. The Hübner family is very helpful if you need tips for destinations or help reaching your goals.

Holidays right from the start!
Finally, a holiday home where you can feel completely at home from the first day. It has been lovingly decorated with Swedish accessories and is very clean. The landlords are unobtrusively concerned about the well-being of their guests and are extremely helpful
There are enough places to go so that you don't get bored during your holiday.
When you return to the holiday home, you are greeted by a pleasant calm. The terrace is cosy and offers a shady spot at any time of day. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Holiday in the forest - pure relaxation
After four vacations with the Hübner family, we still can't get enough and have already booked for next year. Because first come, first served.
Since the vacation house is idyllically located in the middle of the forest, we were able to see foxes, deer, stags, moose, and even an owl that we could watch from our porch several times.
As always, it was a nice, relaxing, and interesting vacation. This time we combined our stay with a cruise to Helsinki. We can only recommend that. Our landlords booked this trip for us in advance. Since both landlords speak German, communication on all levels was excellent again. It's nice to be informed about the customs in a foreign and very beautiful country because not everyone can speak Swedish.
The weather was great, and during our excursions, we discovered new places. For example, after a successful visit to the sea (Skärhamn), we passed a lock in Trollhättan on the way home, where two large cargo ships from the Netherlands and Norway were just being locked through.
We can only recommend the vacation house and the nice landlords because the family is very open-minded towards German guests.

Highly recommended
Very comfortably furnished holiday home for a relaxing time in western Sweden. You can really enjoy the peace there between owls and deer. Fantastic excursion possibilities, you are quickly on the west coast and in Gothenburg. The landlords are super nice people, they are always concerned about the well-being of the guest and strive to satisfy the holiday guest. I am already looking forward to my next vacation there.

Very beautiful, small Swedish house with German standard
We had a lovely 2 weeks at Hübeners. Always helpful and nice. The house is small but nice and enough for 2 children. Direct view of the forest from the kitchen window. There is a lot to do in the immediate vicinity. No lake, but also few mosquitoes. Great terrace, cozy hammock and a grill invite you to feel good. Landlords are on the property, providing a sense of security in the forest.
We will come back for New Year's... The children also really liked it!

Top!
Das Haus bietet alles was man zu einem erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht und die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich rundum betreut und kann mit jeder Frage zu ihnen kommen. Mein Aufenthalt war zwar nur kurz, aber ich habe die Ruhe, die friedlichen Abende mit viel Wild direkt vor dem Haus und die Gemütlichkeit des Häuschens sehr genossen. Danke!!!
