Lovingly furnished holiday home to feel good in
The living space of the holiday home extends over 2 floors. On each floor there is a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom with WC. The kitchen and dining room are on the ground floor.
Both living rooms are bright and friendly and invite you to linger comfortably. From here you have a magnificent view of a wonderful forest and meadow landscape. In both living rooms there is a SAT/TV and a radio (CD and DVD player only on the first floor) as well as a large selection of entertainment literature and books and brochures about the Eifel. You don't have to do without internet either, WLAN connection available.
The modern fitted kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. It contains a complete range of electrical appliances including a dishwasher and sufficient crockery, glasses, cutlery etc. for 6 people.
For meals, you can meet in the separate dining room with an extendable table.
Furthermore, a cosy bedroom with double bed awaits you on the ground floor and on the upper floor a bedroom with two large single beds, which can be put together to form a double bed, as well as an extra bed. Both bedrooms are decorated in light, friendly colours and have high-quality bedding for a good night's sleep. A spacious wardrobe is available for your wardrobe.
A modern shower room on the ground floor and a large bathroom with bathtub and shower on the first floor are also part of the apartment. A travel cot and high chair are available free of charge if required. An additional extra bed can also be set up on request.

The holiday home has a parking space and a terrace for relaxing in the morning sun. The sunbathing lawn/terrace on the south side of the holiday home is perfect for relaxing. Here you can relax in untouched nature - accompanied by the murmur of the oak stream and the chirping of the birds.
The terrace and sunbathing lawn for everyone's use are equipped with garden furniture. Enjoy the fresh Eifel air and take pleasure in the wonderful view over the untouched meadow landscape
The holiday home is ideally suited for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. Your dog is also welcome here. Eichenbach is a small village in the middle of the Eifel. The village is surrounded by an extensive forest area and is therefore perfect for relaxation and contemplation.
In the Eifel, every season has its charm: flowering forests and meadows in spring, shining broom "Eifelgold" and juniper in summer, the variety of colours of the autumn forests and the white splendour of winter.
Eichenbach and its near and far surroundings offer many possibilities for leisure activities. You can take leisurely walks in and around Eichenbach in the beautiful countryside or go on longer hikes on the Fürstin-Margaretha-Weg, the AhrSteig or the Rotweinwanderweg. With a bit of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of roe deer, wild birds or other wild animals.
The Eifel is also a paradise for ambitious cyclists. The Eifel Volcano Cycle Route and the Ahr Cycle Route start nearby.
A visit to the Nürburgring is an ideal contrast to the peace and quiet. Here you can - if you wish - do a few laps at full throttle on the legendary Nordschleife. In addition, many motor sport events take place there. The cinema, go-kart track and the adventure world also provide variety

Super quiet location
We were already at the Eichenidyll for the 2nd time. The main reason: the super quiet and peaceful location. Especially when I went out with the dog in the evening, but also during the day, the silence was almost audible for me, who lives near a motorway junction! Such incredible silence. Fantastic!
During the day, there are hardly any cars driving there. Of course, this might be a small disadvantage, because it is located very seclusively in the middle of a forest and hiking area. Those who seek action and nightlife are certainly not in the right place here, but those who, like us, seek peace and relaxation. A hiking trail practically passes by the house. Wonderful!
A good restaurant can be reached on foot in about 700m.
The apartment is very nicely furnished and very cosy. Value for money is perfect.
We are sure that we will come back next year.

Holiday home Eifelidyll
We were with 3 adults and 2 dogs in the holiday home Eifelidyll. We also had a nice welcome and can confirm that the landlords are very nice.
The house is as described, spotlessly clean and also nicely furnished, everything is really there. The view is also fantastic.
However, I cannot agree with the exclusively positive reviews. From the description and the reviews here, it is not apparent that the terrace cannot be reached through the house, but that you have to go down a staircase around the house. For us, this was quite unfortunate because I specifically emphasized in the communication that I have two elderly seniors with me who cannot climb stairs! So they couldn't go in the garden or on the sun terrace. Instead, they had to sit on the "terrace" in front of the house. Also, nobody mentions here that the house is right on the district road, where 50 km/h is actually allowed, unfortunately no one adheres to that and so cars, trucks, and motorcycles constantly race past the house.
I also specifically inquired whether the garden is fenced because of my two dogs, which was confirmed, but it referred to the terrace in front of the house. A misunderstanding? Very annoying, because that was actually very important to me with two dogs.
The surroundings were beautiful, but here again, the problem was that to go for a walk, we had to walk along the district road (as there was no sidewalk) to get into nature.
We left earlier than planned.
My conclusion is that it is not suitable for seniors who are not quite as agile, and it is not as quiet as it seems due to the district road.
This could certainly be added to the description here, then we probably wouldn't have booked it.

Sehr geehrte Frau V.,
der von Ihnen abgegebenen Bewertung muss ich leider widersprechen.
In Ihrer Anfrage haben Sie angegeben "Da ich mit meinen Eltern kommen möchte, müsste ich wissen, ob im EG Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer u. Bad/ Toilette sind, da beide nicht gut Treppen steigen können? " Dies wurde von mir bejaht. In Ihrer Bewertung schreiben Sie aber, Sie hätten angegeben "da ich zwei ältere Senioren dabei habe, die keine Treppen steigen können!" Klingt irgendwie anders, obwohl zutreffend: mit 82 und 85 Jahren zählt man durchaus zu den älteren Senioren und aufgrund seiner beiden sehr schweren Erkrankungen war der Senior nicht in der Lage Treppen zu gehen. Den Garten des Ferienhauses erreicht man im Übrigen über einen Gehweg mit ein paar Treppenstufen. Das der Garten nicht eingezäunt ist zeigen die Bilder. Das Ferienhaus liegt an der K 5 und einen Bürgersteig gibt es nicht. Stimmt. Allerdings kann man die K 5 nicht mit einer Kreisstraße z.B. in Rheinstetten oder sonstigen größeren Orten vergleichen. Die Kreisstraße führt in unseren 100 Seelen-Ort und im Weiteren in andere reine Wohnorte, keine Industrie u.ä. weit und breit, kein Supermarkt, auch keine Zufahrtsstraße zu einer Autobahn. Wo also soll der ständige Straßenverkehr insbesondere der LKW-Verkehr da herkommen. Meinen Sie etwa den Schulbus, die Müllabfuhr und die Lieferanten unserer Gaststätte? Und alle rasen, na so was. Keiner hält sich an 50 km/h. Keiner! Um auf die Spazierwege zu gelangen muss man max. 100 m auf der K 5 gehen. Zu viel, zu weit?

Wellness oasis

Pure relaxation!
We stayed in the house Eifelidyll with three adults plus a dog. On arrival, we received a very warm welcome from Mr and Mrs Stollenwerk. The village of Eichenbach and the holiday home are in a very idyllic location and you can really relax. The holiday home has everything you need, everything was clean and tastefully decorated.... Even our dog felt really comfortable and enjoyed the walks around and in the village.... We can highly recommend the holiday home... It is pure holiday.

Schöner Urlaub in toller Ferienwohnung
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung "Strandidyll".
Es hat alles super geklappt (Schlüsselübergabe und -abgabe) usw.
Über die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung v.a. in der Küche waren wir sehr erfreut. Auch war alles sehr sauber. Also ganz toll!!!

Entspannter Urlaub in landschaftlich schöner Umgebung!
Im Mai 2018 waren wir für 10 Tage Gäste im Ferienhaus EIFELIDYLL des Ehepaares Stollenwerk. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt und waren gleich angetan von dem schönen Haus und von der Umgebung. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Alles war vorhanden und die Wohnung machte einen super gepflegten und mit viel Liebe eingerichteten Eindruck. Die 5 Sterne sind wirklich verdient.
Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal für Spaziergänge auf gut gekennzeichneten Wanderwegen und auch als Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungsfahrten in die nähere und weitere Umgebung.
Angenehmes Wohnen, schöne Spaziergänge mit unserem Hund und eine gute Erholung - das war unser Urlaub in der Eifel.
Herzlichen Dank dafür an die sehr netten Vermieter, die uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden haben.

Urlaub im Ferienhaus „Eifelidyll“ - in jeder Hinsicht empfehlenswert!
Unsere Erwartungen wurden weit übertroffen. Das Ferienhaus „Eifelidyll“ ist ein liebevoll eingerichtetes und großzügig ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in malerischer Umgebung. Super Erholung durch Natur pur – Einschlafen mit dem Murmeln des Eichenbachs, Aufwachen mit dem Zwitschern der Vögel. Das Haus ist top gepflegt, alles ist sehr sauber, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Service war hervorragend und der persönliche Kontakt sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich.
Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge und Wanderungen: Ahrsteig, Eifelsteig, Rotweinwanderweg. Außerdem ist Eichenbach ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für mannigfaltige Ausflüge: Idyllische Eifelstädtchen und sehenswerte Großstädte, Burgen und Schlösser luden zu Besichtigungen und zum Bummeln ein.
Die Gästestätte im Ort lehrte uns das Schlemmen.
Uns fiel die Abreise schwer. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.

Alltag raus - Entspannung rein.
Wir hatten dieses Ferienhaus sehr kurzfristig angefragt.
Die Absprachen mit nur 2 Tagen Vorlauf verliefen problemlos und zuvorkommend.
Genauso wurden wir - 4 Erwachsene & 2 Hunde - auch von dem Vermieterpaar empfangen: überaus freundlich, unkompliziert und einladend.
Das Haus hat alles was man für einen kurzen oder längeren Aufenthalt benötigt: Ein großes Bad sowie ein kleines, 2 Wohnzimmer, die genügend Platz bieten, eine absolut ausreichende Küche, die Schlafzimmer.... Und alles erwartete uns in einem überaus ordentlichen, sauberen und gemütlichen Zustand.
Wir waren sehr sehr positiv beeindruckt.
Alles in allem:
Perfekt geeignet für Erholung, Wandern, Entspannen, Biken oder auch mal Nichtstun.
Wir empfehlen Sie, liebe Familie Stollenwerk, sehr gern weiter. Ihr Häuschen ist zum Wohlfühlen da !

Tolles Ferienhaus mit viel Platz!
Herzlicher Empfang durch die Vermieter, nette Vorstellung des schönen Hauses und dann noch freundliche Begrüßung durch die Nachbarn, Extraklasse!
Gute und funktionale Ausstattung im gesamten Haus, Geschirrspüler, Telefon, W-LAN alles vorhanden.
Räumliche Trennung über zwei Etagen, somit Rückzugsmöglichkeit für Privatsphäre.
Hervorragende Adresse für Erholung vom Alltagsstress.

Ja so ist das, da kommt man aus dem Urlaub und der Alltag hat einen wieder und man vergisst fast, daß man noch eine Bewertung abgeben wollte. Wir waren eine Woche in dem wunderschönen Eichenbach im Ferienhaus der Fam. Stollenwerk. Absolute Ruhe und Entspannung garantiert, im Haus fehlt es an nichts und die Hauseigentümer sind super. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus wirklich nur empfehlen und auch unser Hund war herzlich willkommen. Was sollen wir mehr schreiben, bucht es und erlebt es.
