Location and surroundings of object
From the holiday flat it is about 150 metres to the train station. The flat is located in the higher part of Nohen in the direction of Birkenfeld. There are no acoustic influences from the train traffic in the holiday home.
The village of Nohen is located in the newly named Birkenfeld/Nahe National Park District. It is not far from the jewellery town of Idar-Oberstein and the town of Baumholder. Nohen is a quiet village with about 400 inhabitants that offers good transport connections even without a car. It lies directly in the Nahe valley on the Mainz-Saarbrücken railway line. Due to the Rhineland-Palatinate regular service, the Nohen stop is served by the railway.
