Description
Completed in 2006, this very well-maintained wooden house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, built on one side only, on the edge of a small settlement in a sparse wooded area (with deer and other forest animals) only 170 m from the lake. The detached house offers a 40 sqm living room with kitchen area and wood-burning stove. A double bedroom and a shower room are on the same level. In the attic there is a twin bedroom, a single bedroom and an additional WC. A large, sheltered west terrace at the house and a raised terrace with lake view invite you to relax.

Location and surroundings of object
Rosendala is a relaxed holiday settlement where the buildings are interspersed with spacious, natural areas. At the children's playground with boules court and barbecue area, the marina and a small sandy beach about 300 m from the house, there are tables and chairs as well as bathing ladders to the lake. There are few people on the extensive paths along the lake and through the surrounding forests, even in the high season. In summer, the Göta Canal ships and many boats pass Viken, but without disturbing it with noise.
Rosendala is located in the northern hilly, mostly forested part of Västergötland near the garrison town of Karlsborg with its imposing fortress complex on Lake Vättern. The Tiveden National Park and its 25 km of marked hiking trails through primeval forest and along forest lakes is a must for nature lovers, and a trip to the large lake Vänern is always worthwhile. The locks along the Göta Canal are a hive of activity, the oldest being in the neighbouring town of Forsvik.
The Västergötland Golf Association has 28 golf clubs, of which the scenic Töreboda GK and Brevikens GK are within easy reach.
