Description
The adjoining holiday flats "Blu and Verde" are located in an old olive mill with the melodious name Ulivo di Sempre, which can be translated as "everlasting olives". The village of Torria lies 400 metres above sea level on the slopes of the Impero Valley, offering visitors a magnificent view of the surrounding area and the peaks of the Ligurian Alps, which are up to 1000 metres high, as well as the sea from the upper sun terrace. The flats share the surrounding garden and each has a terrace. The Blu flat has a separate bedroom with double bed and bunk bed and a sofa bed in the living room. The two flats are ideal for families who want to holiday together. There is an excellent restaurant in the village, and on the way to the coastal town of Imperia and the beaches you can also get good supplies on Sundays in the shopping centre, which is about 20 minutes away by car. Sandy beaches can be found in the second district of Imperia, in Porto Maurizio.

Torria is located in the hinterland of Imperia Oneglia, above Chiusanico. The old mill is behind the church, and just opposite the house there is a car park reserved for guests of the holiday flats. After booking, you will receive precise directions to the Imperia Est motorway exit.

We love spring in Liguria and therefore went to Torria in April. But then it is often still very chilly. The flat Ulivo di sempre blu is very nice, but you have to pay for the heating yourself and ask the landlord for it.
We went on foot to Monte Evigno, where cows, calves and horses graze; by bike or car to Valmaro opposite, where the oldest oak in the province grows below Conio; by car to Pieve di Teco with its very beautiful portici (arcades) or on foot to Chiusanico and shopping in the alimentari.

Sanremo ist eine herrliche Stadt zum anschauen und einkaufen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Dolcedo ist ein sehr schönes Dorf mit guten Restaurants. Zu Sommerferienzeit August, wenn die Italiener auch Urlaub machen, sind die Strände sehr voll.
Parkplätze waren kaum bzw. nicht zu finden. Die Grotte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Beim Whalewatching darf man nicht zu hohe Erwartungen hegen, wir habe uns gefreut, Delphine gesehen zu haben. Es ist eine lange Fahrt und für die Kinder z. Teil langweilig.
