The RetzerLand is also an ideal place to live for stays of several days in Vienna, as the S-Bahn is integrated into the eastern transport network and the journey time of about 50 minutes is shorter than some journeys to Vienna.
Yes, and for nature lovers, the Thayatal National Park is on the doorstep and just as easy to reach by bike as Hardegg (the smallest town in Austria), the Riegersburg Castle

The RetzerLand is located in the Austrian Weinviertel on the border to the Czech Republic. The landscape is characterised by vineyards and rustic cellar alleys. The region is a paradise for cyclists and hikers, with well-marked cycle paths everywhere, a mild climate with little rain and only slight inclines.
The abundant wine taverns with the best Austrian quality wines and homemade regional specialities leave nothing to be desired in terms of cuisine. In addition, there is the excellent price-performance ratio in this region, which puts far less strain on the holiday budget than elsewhere.
