Description

The unique "Buchhaus Vier" holiday home in the middle of the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park offers everything to make guests' hearts beat faster. Be it for holidaymakers, friends or family reunions. Or simply to really relax. And you can do so both in the immediate vicinity and in the surrounding area. So right in the middle, surrounded by forests, springs, meadows, ponds - and many worthwhile destinations.

With 270 square metres of living space, the "Buchhaus Vier" holiday home is characterised by comfort, cleanliness, a feel-good atmosphere and variety

On the charmingly designed four floors, there is room for from two to twelve guests in three high-quality furnished flats. In addition, there is a romantically furnished attic room called "Sternguckerzimmer"

The "Buchhaus Vier", which stands out among holiday homes, is nevertheless available at favourably fair all-inclusive prices. And thus including all services without surcharges. Whether fast internet (cable and WLAN with Mbit), own telephone in every flat, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, rental bicycles and much more. Coffee and tea are also free of charge. And to welcome you, sparkling wine plus a non-alcoholic soft drink.

The offers in the immediate vicinity are as varied as they are attractive and worth experiencing.

of the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park. Among them is the Franconian Mountain Trail. It is considered the
second most beautiful in Germany.

In short: a refuge of high quality for all ages and many occasions. Whether alone or in community. And not just anywhere or at a single location, but centrally as it could hardly be more central.

Worthwhile destinations in the immediate vicinity include the

Location and surroundings of object

The "Buchhaus VIER" holiday home is romantically situated on the edge of the forest on a hill above the Fichtelgebirge town of Kirchenlamitz, Wunsiedel district.

The ascent to the Epprechtstein castle ruins, which are surrounded by legends and inspire a sense of adventure, starts at the "Buchhaus VIER". It is easy to walk and an experience - for children as well as for adults up to senior citizens

The Epprechtstein, at the foot of which the "Buchhaus Vier" holiday home is located, is also an Eldorado for mineral lovers. The mountain is full of precious stones, as town archivist Werner Bergmann knows. And the layers of rock uncovered by the once twenty granite quarries offer revealing insights into the earth's history.

In addition, numerous cycling and hiking trails start here, including the Franconian Mountain Trail, Germany's second most beautiful hiking trail

In winter, well-maintained cross-country ski trails lead through the fairytale-like, sugared landscape in the immediate vicinity

Germany's largest accessible granite labyrinth is only 100 m away from the "Buchhaus VIER" - a hit for children, but also a fun experience for adults. They can (re)find their own centre here. Admission is free of charge.

In the immediate vicinity, there are excursions to the winter sports strongholds of Bischofsgrün, Warmensteinach etc. as well as to the nearby Ochsenkopf or Kornberg

Wunsiedel with the famous Luisenburg Festival and the unique rock labyrinth, the Wagner Festival town of Bayreuth, trips to the neighbouring Franconian Forest and the equally scenic Vogtland are other worthwhile destinations

The former zonal border or a detour to the Czech Republic are also interesting. The nearby and traditional porcelain town (Rosenthal, Thomas, etc.) Selb offers excellent shopping opportunities in outlet centres. From here, you can also "slide" right over the border into the Czech Republic, for example for the Bohemian cuisine or for shopping.

Also from "Buchhaus VIER", a romantic hiking trail leads through woods and meadows to the "potato village" of Großschloppen, a suburb of Kirchenlamitz, only two kilometres away. Here there is not only a potato nature trail and a small potato museum, but also an annual public potato picking.

New: Only a stone's throw away from "Entenhausen", Germany's first comic museum in Schwarzenbach (Saale). Here, Dr. Erika Fuchs taught Donald Duck to quack and shaped the German language with her neologisms and onomatopoeias - as translator and editor-in-chief of Mickey Mouse magazine. More:
The cultivation of tradition and hospitality stands for many other heartfelt and often free attractions in this very special holiday area. In the midst of the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park, where guests are still welcome and welcome visitors.
Pleasant as well as manageable small town in the heart of the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park, rural in character, beautifully situated, rich in forests, meadows, springs and a wide variety of excursion options, very well-developed network with cycling and hiking trails of varying lengths. With lovely and hospitable people who wear their Franconian heart on their left side, but still in the proverbial "right place". In contrast to overcrowded or "marketed" holiday regions, people here are still honestly happy about every guest. And they are rewarded with reasonable prices.

The host region was once dominated by the porcelain industry for generations. After its decline, people turned to what is nowadays a rarity: The paradisiacally beautiful landscape. With this, the Creator has spoiled the Fichtelgebirge very luxuriantly. Here, nature is also still intact. The Fichtelgebirge and its nature park are enclosed by a horseshoe-shaped mountain range. Almost all the mountains can be climbed even by inexperienced hikers

Since tourism has not yet reached its peak, the Fichtelgebirge is still an insider tip. And the "Buchhaus Vier" is unique in its concept, facilities and location

The "Buchhaus Vier" is also a special thank-you from the former hosts Lothar and Heidi Beier. For allowing them to grow up and experience their youth on this beautiful spot of earth in the post-war period. Long since settled in the Swabian town of Ehingen near Ulm, they have lovingly furnished the "Buchhaus Vier". In their spirit, we want to continue to run it.
