Our lovingly furnished holiday home offers plenty of space for up to 4 people and is located about 150 m from the shore of Riedener Waldsee.
We offer you 75 m² of ground-level living space on a 380 m² plot. Enjoy the wonderful view and the beautiful location with a view of the lake already at breakfast.
The house is equipped with a spacious living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette, two separate bedrooms with a total of 4 beds. In the bathroom there is a bathtub, washbasin, towel radiator and WC. A separate guest WC is also available
Look forward to the cosy warmth of an infrared sauna and the crackling of the fireplace.
The storage room with washing machine complete our offer for you.

The surroundings of Riedener Waldsee have a lot to offer
Among others, the Laacher See with its famous Benedictine Abbey, the old town of Mayen with Genovefa Castle, the volcanic town of Mendig, the Nürburgring and 26 premium hiking trails (dream trails), two of which are in the immediate vicinity. You have a great view all the way to Koblenz or Bonn from the Gänsehalsturm, about 3 km away.
Directly at the lake you will find a restaurant, a pizzeria, possibilities for swimming, boat and quad rentals, a children's playground as well as riding possibilities.
In the village there are various shops, several restaurants, bakery with grocery shop, butcher's shop, savings bank and a doctor.
The numerous forest paths and dream trails invite you to go hiking and mountain biking.

Restful short break in a very well-maintained holiday home
We decided on short notice to rent this holiday home for five days (with our small dog). Booking, handling, communication, and key handover: everything was perfect. The house is tastefully decorated and there is nothing missing. Tip-top clean down to the last corner. You feel comfortable as soon as you enter the house.
We would love to come back.

all-around beautiful vacation
We felt very comfortable from the first minute. The house offers everything you could wish for a relaxing holiday, it was very clean and spacious for two people with a dog. There are beautiful paths to walk directly from the accommodation and also many things to explore in the surrounding area.

We (couple with dog) spent our vacation in August 2023 in Rieden. The reception from the landlord was warm. There was immediately an offer to call anytime if there are any questions or problems. The cleanliness and equipment in the holiday home is very good. We felt completely comfortable. It is a good starting point for activities. Our dog, an OEB, also felt comfortable. The pizzeria in front of the door, less than 100m away, and the restaurant on the opposite side of the lake, about 300m walk, are highly recommended. The well-kept grounds of the Waldsee and the lake itself always invite you to swim in sunny weather. We will definitely spend our vacation in Family Schaub's holiday home "Waldsee" again.

Perfect holiday home
Holiday home Waldsee is the perfect holiday home in every respect.
The location directly on the lake and on the edge of the forest is beautiful and quiet.
The landlords are very friendly and have thought of everything when furnishing the house.
Lovingly decorated but not overloaded,very clean,many extras such as extra pillows and blankets,washing machine....
The kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired, and in general the rooms are very spacious and bright.
And the two terraces and the many garden furniture are certainly wonderful in the summer.
All in all, we can recommend the house 100% with a clear conscience and have immediately booked our next holiday there.

Liebevoll eingerichtete, komfortable FeWo in bester Lage
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in dieser tollen Ferienwohnung. In der Wohnung fehlte es uns an nichts. Sogar genügend Gartenmöbel, Grill und Waschmaschine, Hochtuhl sind vorhanden. Perfekt für einen Familienurlaub! Frau Schaup ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert in der Kommunikation. Vielen Dank für alles!

Das Ferienhaus am Waldsee ist sehr großräumig, wunderschön heöö und bietet reichlich Platz für 4 Person (oder mehr). Die Ausstattung ist prima. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, alles was man benötigt ( und sogar noch mehr ) war vorhanden. Das Ferienhaus ist ein idealler Ausgangpunkt für Unternehmungen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können es nur weiterempfelen.
Vielen Dank an die Familie Schaub, die dazu beigetragen hat, dass wir uns pudelwohl gefühlt haben. Ganz viele Grüße aus dem Norden

A very lovingly furnished holiday home where nothing, but also nothing at all was missing!
It was even very lovingly decorated for Christmas.
You felt right at home.
We have already booked again for the summer.
(A DVD player on the big TV would be nice but not a direct criticism)

Great holiday with toddler
We spent a very relaxing holiday with our granddaughter and her parents.
We were welcomed by the hosts in a friendly and obliging manner. The equipment of the holiday home left nothing to be desired. We especially enjoyed the 2 terraces, so that we could stay in front of or behind the house, depending on the position of the sun. In the large living room, even a rainy day can be spent in a relaxed way, even with a small child. The very well signposted dream paths in the immediate vicinity are very exciting short hiking trails. We can only warmly recommend the Waldsee holiday home!

Wunderschönes sehr gepflegtes Ferienhaus in toller Lage
Das Ferienhaus liegt nur einen Steinwurf vom schönen Waldsee, wo man baden oder auch ein Restaurant besuchen kann. Viele Ausflugsziele für jeden Geschmack sind in kurzer Zeit erreichbar, egal ob Kultur oder Wandern... Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, es wurde an alles gedacht. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt, innen wie außen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Erholsamer Kurzurlaub
Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber.
Mit dem Kamin und der Sauna ist es auch zu der eher kälteren Jahreszeit ein angenehmer Aufenthalt gewesen.
