The newly designed flat is on the ground floor of a beautiful detached house - with a panoramic view on a mountain. The large property is located on the quiet outskirts of the village as the last house adjacent to field and forest.
The town of Hatzfeld an der Eder is situated in one of the most charming low mountain ranges in Hesse.
With a population of around 1,000, the town has a lot to offer: The oldest church organ in Hessen, the Rindt organ in the Emmaus Chapel, the smallest church in Hessen, where you can also get married if you wish, a castle ruin, a museum and paradisiacal conditions for all outdoor activities.
For daily needs there are 3 bakers, 3 butchers, an Edeka market, a café, an Italian restaurant, doctors, a pharmacy and other shops. There is a café, an Italian restaurant, doctors, a pharmacy and other shops. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools are available at a distance of 7 to 15 km.
A paradise for hiking: Rothaarsteig, Lahn-Dill-Berglandpfad and many certified hiking trails start in the immediate vicinity. The Ederhöhenpfad (quality trail wanderbares Deutschland) - 63 km from Hatzfeld to the Edersee - passes directly by the house! It includes the Panorama hiking trail - one of a total of 16 extra tours that have been awarded the German Hiking Seal.

In the immediate vicinity (8km) is the Sackpfeife (674m), the highest elevation in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district. In winter, there is a skiing area with chair and drag lifts and cross-country skiing trails. In summer, it is a paradise for families - summer toboggan run, adventure playground, pony rides, Indian village and many activities are available.
Canoeists will also find ideal conditions on the Eder and Lahn rivers (local club).
The university town of Marburg/Lahn, Biedenkopf, Frankenberg, Bad Berleburg, Lake Eder and Winterberg are also within a radius of less than 40 km and offer great leisure activities - for example, the bike park and climbing park in Winterberg, historic castles and town halls, old towns worth seeing, Lake Eder boat trips and much more.
