Location of the house:
We welcome you warmly to our well-equipped holiday home. Our holiday home is situated in a quiet location in the Ausen area at the foot of the large Ebersberg. It is 200 metres to the main road, the next village is Ruhla, district Thal in 1 km distance with shopping facilities. A gravelled field path leads to the house. As part of an old mill, the house was converted into a residential building in the 1960s and partially renovated in 2011/2012. It is characterised by a cosy atmosphere.
The house is surrounded by green meadows and forests. It is 6 kilometres to the Rennsteig. The holiday home is particularly suitable for nature lovers and hikers who appreciate seclusion.
Layout of the house:
The single-storey house has gas heating, a fireplace in the living room and a tiled stove in the kitchen. The living area of the house is 75 sqm and consists of the following rooms: A living room with TV, CD radio and sofa bed; a bedroom with double bed; a second bedroom with double bed and CD radio; a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, oven, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine and dining area as well as a small bathroom with shower and toilet.
Outdoor area:
The house surrounds a meadow plot of approx. 500 sqm with a fenced kitchen garden, sunbathing lawn and paddock. There is garden furniture and a parasol on the terrace. For cosy hours in the evening, there is a fire bowl in the garden. The property is well suited for dogs. You can also bring your horse with you and stable it in our paddocks next to the house. The landlords live on a neighbouring property 100m away. There are petting zoo animals and horses there, and not just for the little guests.
Special features:
The holiday home Berlinchen is located outside the village in a hamlet with a total of four residential houses. Please note that the holiday home can only be reached via a 200-metre gravel path. The surrounding area offers many opportunities for small and large nature lovers. The minimum rental period is 2 nights.

The distance to the next village Ruhla/ district Thal with shopping facilities, bakery, butcher, outdoor swimming pool and tennis hall is 1 km. To Wutha-Farnroda with railway station and further shopping facilities, pharmacy, medical centre it is 3 km. A bus stop is located 200 m away on the main road.

There are many popular hiking and excursion destinations in our area. Some destinations are within easy walking distance. You can roam the Thuringian Forest, hike the Hörsel Mountains or follow the tracks of wildcats in the Hainich National Park.

Experience the fascinating mountain world of the Thuringian Forest while hiking, jogging, riding or climbing. Pure nature
Back home, we would like to thank the Herzog family once again.
We received a very warm welcome and Mr Herzog always had time for a chat.
The property was very large and spacious, wonderful peace and quiet, we left very relaxed.
The surroundings are fantastic, you could do something every day and of course go hiking.
