Wonderful stay
The house is located in a quiet area in Prerow on a beautiful property. It is easily accessible. It is lovingly furnished and you immediately feel comfortable (thatched roof, Darßer door, fireplace, cozy armchairs, etc.). It also does not lack the practical things in the kitchen (measuring cup, egg spoon, etc.). The house is bright and you can easily reach the center or the beach on foot. We will be back.

Relaxing at the edge of the forest
We felt very comfortable. The house has great facilities and the location is fantastic, perfect for relaxing.
The contact with the landlord was friendly and the handover of the house was uncomplicated.
We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our time in the beautiful house.

Preis-Leistung stimmt hier nicht!
Erstmal das Positive vorweg...
1. Das Haus hatte für uns eine tolle Lage! 2. Der Hausverwalter war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! 3. Das Haus sieht von außen schön aus!
Jetzt das Wesentliche: Das Haus war von innen sehr ungemütlich eingerichtet. Ein Wohlbefinden kam zu keiner Zeit auf! Weiterhin war es in Teilen nicht sauber (Matratze mit vielen Haaren, Küchenutensilien verdreckt, Schimmel an den Badezimmerfenstern, alte Badezimmervorleger).
Darüber hinaus war das Gerüst der Kinderschaukel und Rutsche morsch und drohte auseinanderzubrechen! Hier besteht absolute Unfallgefahr! Das man für das Waschen bei dem Mietpreis bezahlen muss, ist eine Frechheit! Preis - Leistung stimmt hier absolut nicht! Wir kommen in dieses Objekt bestimmt NICHT wieder und können es auch nicht weiterempfehlen!

Die Bilder im Internet entsprechen den tatsächlichen Verhältnissen, dann sollte sich der Gast vorher die Bilder anschauen und beurteilen, ob ihm die Einrichtung gefällt. Das Haus ist mit Massivmöbeln, einer Ledercouch , einem Kamin usw. eingerichtet.
Die Küche ist u. a. mit einer Geschirrspülmaschine ausgestattet, ich glaube kaum, dass das Geschirr schmutzig war. Die vorhergehenden Gäste waren ein Arztehepaar ( Stammgäste ), die sicherlich kein schmutziges Geschirr in den Schrank gestellt haben.
Im Silikon der Badezimmerfenster sind kleine Schimmelflecke, die sich leider nicht entfernen lassen außer man kauft neue Fenster.
Das Spielgerät ist verkehrssicher und wird ständig von mir und dem Hausmeister überprüft.
Für das Benutzen der Waschmaschine wird eine Gebühr von 1€ erhoben bei einer Waschzeit von 30 Minuten. Da die Benutzung der Waschmachine zum Teil ausgenutzt wurde, in dem die Gäste vor der Abreise die gesamte Wäsche gewaschen haben, wurde die kleine Gebühr eingeführt.
Die Dame hat mit 6 Personen und einem Hund pro Tag 195€ bezahlt ( Hauptsaison )und ist ohne mir eine Mitteilung zu geben, dass sie einen Gartenstuhl kaputt gemacht hat abgereist. Es wurde ausdrücklich die Frage gestellt ob etwas kaputt gegangen ist.
Gerne verzichte ich auf solche Gäste.

Top-notch accommodations in a great environment
For the past 8 years, my family and I have been going to Prerow, alternating between Hafenstraße 47 and 49 in the "Haus am Waldrand" ("House at the Forest Edge"). The name "Haus am Waldrand" is more of a description of the location (you drive off the property and you're right in the forest) than a name. The house consists of two semi-detached houses made of solid construction with a thatched roof. It includes a terrace with garden furniture for 6 people, a small shed for terrace items, and a larger bicycle shed for secure bicycle storage. There are two parking spaces available for each semi-detached house. The clean, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished house can certainly be considered an eye-catcher. There is ample crockery and cutlery for 6 people. The kitchen is also well-equipped with electrical appliances, including a fairly new dishwasher. The electrical appliances are brand name and not cheap. The living room is equipped with an undamaged leather corner sofa, glass table, television, and radio, as well as a fireplace. Two bathrooms are spread over two floors. On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms with double beds and a wardrobe with sufficient storage space. Under the roof (3rd floor), there is a sofa bed and a small television. Everything has been regularly clean and in excellent condition during the 8 years that we have been in Prerow. In the event of any small problems, the owner Mr. Pomplun and the caretaker Mr. Mainhardt can be reached quickly and are committed to resolving everything to the best of their ability. In summary, there are 120 square meters in a great atmosphere, nestled in beautiful nature with the Darß Forest on the doorstep. Apparently, I share this impression with almost all the reviewing guests of this holiday domicile. Regarding the evaluation of the tenant moving in after us, I protest against her claim of leaving dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinet. This seems as confused as the entire evaluation. There are always dissatisfied people.

Dreamy Baltic Sea vacation

Feel-good vacation for Baltic Sea lovers
As a family with children and grandchildren, we regularly spend two weeks a year in the holiday home of Mr. Pomplun. We appreciate the proximity of the house to the west and east beaches and the bike rental around the corner. The solid and spacious construction style of the holiday home, the very good equipment of the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as the extremely well-kept outdoor facilities and the proximity to the forest allow us to spend a relaxed vacation. We find the problem-free handover and the quick minor repairs by Mr. Meinhardt very pleasant. The climate in the house is very pleasant thanks to the underfloor heating and the fireplace, no one has to freeze. It is remarkable how quickly and reliably we could book and the personal contact with Mr. Pomplun. With best recommendations, Fam. Rehner.

Wunderschöner Urlaub
Wir konnten vom ersten Tag an den Urlaub genießen und entspannen. Es fehlte an nichts in dem gut eingerichteten und gepflegten Ferienhaus am Waldrand. Auch die Übergabe und der Service durch den Hausverwalter klappte reibungslos und war unkompliziert.
Die wundervolle Landschaft und die schönen Sandstrände der Ostsee haben uns total begeistert.
Von unserem Feriendomizil aus unternahmen wir zahlreiche Fahrradtouren.
Eine Zeesboot-Fahrt auf dem Bodden ist absolut empfehlenswert und macht richtig Spaß.
Die Wohnlage ist ruhig und liegt günstig, wenn man auch einmal nach Rostock, Stralsund oder nach Rügen möchte.
Wir können das Ferienhaus am Waldrand für Familien mit Kindern jeden Alters nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder bei dem freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Vermieter einen Urlaub buchen.
Es waren tolle 2 Wochen auf dem Darß. :-)

Very tastefully furnished house.
We felt very comfortable in the house at the edge of the forest. The house was very clean and equipped with everything you need. It is located in a quiet area and in a few minutes you can reach the beach and shopping facilities are also not far away. We will definitely come back.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft
Wir haben uns in dem geschmackvoll eingerichteten und sehr gut ausgestatteten Haus sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage am Waldrand ist herrlich ruhig und ermöglicht erholsame Spaziergänge gleich vor der Haustür. Mit Fahrrädern ist man in etwa 10 Minuten am Nordstrand und in 5 Minuten beim Bäcker. Der Weg zum Weststrand (ca. 4 km) führt direkt am Haus vorbei. Fahrradausleihe im Ort ist mit 5 € pro Tag günstig. Einen Urlaub im Haus am Waldrand können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Immer wieder zufrieden
Seit 2015 verbringen wir unsere Auszeit vom Alltag in diesem Ferienhaus. Wir kommen ein bis zwei mal im Jahr und es gelingt uns jedesmal innerhalb kürzester Zeit zu regenerieren. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und doch zentral. Für Kinder und Hunde ist die Lage optimal, da der Darss Wald vor der Haustür beginnt. Auch bei kühleren Wetter ist das Haus empfehlenswert auf Grund des Kamin und der Fußbodenheizung.

Sollte beachtet werden!!!!
Die Endreinigung für 105.-€ ist auf keinen Fall zu akzeptieren; Bei den Mietpreis wäre die Benutzung der Waschmaschine wünschenswert. Durch Vergleich anderer Ferienhäuser vor Ort, könnte auch Bettwäsche und Handtücher gestellt werden. Wenn die Abnahme des Hauses richtig erfolgen würde
kann man auch der Kaution zustimmen. Aber nur wer ehrlich ist hat das Nachsehen !!!!
