Great house on the lake

Very nice holiday home in a great location with private lake access and bathing jetty.
It doesn't get any better than this!
A rowing boat belongs to the house. The garden is really beautiful and invites you to relax. We were greeted and seen off very nicely.
We didn't want for anything. We will be very happy to come back.

Beautiful house on the lake

We spent a very relaxing holiday in the house by the lake and also enjoyed the nature very much.

We explored the surroundings with our bikes and visited Oldenburg and Bremen by car.

We have already booked again for next year.

Thank you very much for a lovely stay, we are looking forward to next year.

Thanks also for the nice care by Gabi and the spontaneous help of her son-in-law with problems with the rowing boat.

The perfect short holiday

Starting with the very pleasant, friendly and uncomplicated contact with the landlord and Mrs. Tittel, to a beautiful area all around and of course the house with the magnificent lake property, there were no wishes unfulfilled here! This great combination of tranquility, relaxation (and here coupled with absolute aesthetics through the house and property) but also art and culture represents the perfect (short) vacation for us! We are looking forward to a reunion in August now...

Wunderschönes Haus am See, der Vermieter nett und aufmerksam, der Ort klein aber fein, alles da um eine schöne Zeit in diesem tollen modernen Haus zu verbringen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Pure relaxation in a dreamlike location!

We were totally thrilled and had a dreamlike vacation. The modern house and the well-maintained property in a unique location directly by the lake invite you to rest and relax. There is no lack of anything both inside and outside, and you wake up in the morning with a beautiful view of the lake from the bedroom. Very nice and attentive landlord, who leaves nothing to be desired.

Dream vacation on a beautiful property

We were there recently and had a wonderful vacation. The property is a dream. The house is also beautiful. The landlord was very nice, always available and approachable for all questions and wishes. The recreational equipment on site such as table tennis table and fire pit, as well as kayak, rowing boat, and canoe, was great and we enjoyed using it. It was great for us that our dog was allowed to travel with us and could enjoy all the amenities on site with us. Very nice neighborhood and absolutely recommended for all people who are looking for peace and relaxation.

Stylish holiday home with a huge plot of land and direct access to the lake!

After our originally planned vacation in Bavaria had to be canceled due to high corona incidence rates, we found the vacation home in Rethorn at short notice.

The first impression on site was even better than in the photos - a huge property with direct access to the lake and a chic vacation home. The location on the sleepy lake is unique and greatly enhances the quality of the stay (except for the mosquitoes in the evening...).

We (two families - 4 adults, 2 children) really enjoyed the week in Rethorn. The children could hardly be torn away from the lake and loved paddling with the boat or kayak (both from the house!) as well as acrobatic jumps on the "Tarzan rope" into the lake. The adults enjoyed the tranquility, relaxed rowing on the lake, and the proximity to destinations like Oldenburg, Bremen, or Bremerhaven. In the nearby Bookholzberg, you can find supermarkets and restaurants, all conveniently accessible by bike.

The new vacation home (built in 2020) is chic and well-equipped - luxurious bathrooms with walk-in showers, a modern kitchen, fireplace, and lots of glass everywhere.

The size of the house is more optimal for 4 people - with six people in nice weather, it was not a problem, but in bad weather, it would have been tight (only three people can comfortably sit on the couch).

Two of the three bedrooms are in the basement, you have to like that - on the other hand, the chic bedroom on the 1st floor is difficult to darken and (like the rest of the house) becomes very warm very early in warmer outdoor temperatures. The mattresses in the basement were very hard.

What is missing is a proper grill. However, there is a large fire pit with a grill grate.

In terms of price, the house is felt to be at the upper end - but here you pay for the overall package of the house, property, and lake location.

We had a great week. The house is definitely recommended!

Absolut empfehlenswert! Erholung garantiert!

Wir waren zu viert ( 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) plus Hund in dieser tollen Unterkunft, mit dem fantastischen Ausblick, vom Wohnzimmer/ Küche, auf den See. Bei herrlichem Herbstwetter hatten unsere Teenager auch ihren Spaß, mit dem Kanu auf dem See .... Der Vermieter ist sehr aufmerksam und der Kontakt war mehr als angenehm. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Pure relaxation

The pictures of the house looked very promising. We were not disappointed. A wonderfully quiet place with plenty of space for an active vacation or just chilling out. The contact with the landlord was uncomplicated and very pleasant.

Stilvoll, erholsam einfach top!

Wir haben eine Woche im stillen Örtchen Ganderkesee verbracht, ohne uns auch nur einmal langweilen zu müssen. Alleine der Garten bietet umfangreiche Möglichkeiten sich sowohl sportlich auszulasten als auch komplett abzuschalten.
Wenn man das schöne Grundstück dann doch mal verlassen möchte, sind Städte, wie Bremen oder Oldenburg sehr gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen.
Nach Empfehlung haben wir die Waschmaschine lieber nicht benutzt und auch den Tennisplatz nur kurzweilig besucht. Hier meckern wir aber nur auf hohem Niveau.
Antibrumm einpacken und der Urlaub ist gesichert! :D

Vollständig hervorragend

Das innen und außen beeindruckend schöne und besonders gut ausgestattete neue Haus mit dem weiterhin traumhaften Garten direkt am See (mit Steg, Badeleiter,Kanu, Ruderboot und weiteren kleinen Booten) hat sehr zu einem wunderbaren, insgesamt sehr erholsamen und, wie sich beim Tagesbesuch der Enkelkinder zeigte, auch kindgerechten Urlaubserlebnis beigetragen. Mit dem Vermieter bestand schon in der Buchungsphase ein sehr freundlicher und zuverlässiger Kontakt, der sich auch bei der Übergabe und Rückgabe des Ferienhauses bestätigte. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Wiederholer aus Hameln

Auch in diesem Jahr waren wir wieder in Rethorn. Diesmal für 2 Wochen. Es waren auch diesmal wieder tolle Tage. Angeln und baden herrlich. Das Wetter war leider nur durchwachsen, aber der Rest passte wieder herrlich. Einfach nur Ruhe und Natur. Es war sicher nicht das letzte Mal.

Traum am See

Es war ein super Woche mit herrlichem Sonnenschein. Die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen. Mittlerweile ist das Sofa gegen eine gemühtliche Liegelandschaft aushetauscht und lädt zum entspannen ein. Das Ufergrundstück ist einfach herrich und naturbelassen. Wer entspannung und Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Ein Vermieter der keine Wünsche offen lässt. Wir werden sicherlich gerne wieder kommen.

Ein absolutes Paradies

Meine Freundin und ich wollten gern einen kleinen Erholungsurlaub für schmales Geld gestalten. Damit haben wir bei diesem Ferienhaus absolut ins Schwarze getroffen.

Das Haus liegt fernab jeder Lärmquellen in einer kleinen Einbahnstraße direkt am See. Es besitzt eine eigene kleine Einfahrt, eine große Wiese mit Anleger zum See und einen kleinen Garten mit Sitzgelegenheit. Es ist auf zwei Etagen mit allem ausgestattet was man zum leben braucht. Außerdem ist es mit Liebe eingerichtet was einem direkt ein heimisches Gefühl verleiht. Sollte man doch einmal Pech mit dem Wetter haben gibt es auch einen kleinen Kamin.

Der See ist perfekt zum Baden geeignet. Auch ein Ruderboot und ein Surfbrett gehörten zum Angebot.

Mit Herrn Wittmer selbst hatten wir ausschließlich einen sehr freundlichen und entgegenkommenden Kontakt, bei welchen keine Wünsche offen blieben.

Alles in Allem würden wir bei jeder Gelegenheit wieder anreisen!
