Dobropoljana is located on the northeastern side of the island, at the foot of the island's highest peak Bokolj (274 m). Dobropoljana is a typical island village, where the harmony between the old architecture and the newly built homes has been reached.
The basis of the economy is agriculture, viticulture, olive growing, fishing and maritime industry. Small harbor is protected from south and west winds and provides good protection for small yachts. There is also a sandy beach in Dobropoljana center.

Getting to Dobropoljana: one can reach the island of Pasman from two directions. If you travel by car from the mainland, you can take the ferry from two seaports: Zadar, on the line Zadar-Preko (Ugljan) and Biograd, on the line Biograd-Tkon (Island Pasman). Ugljan and Pasman are connected by a bridge.
