This 100 year old house has been completely renovated and offers you all comfort with its homely, Latvian spirit. There are five rooms on two floors. Each floor has its own entrance and self catering kitchen.
The old wooden roof has been renovated and we are proud of its new wooden shingle roof, currently the only one in Liepaja. There is a private, spacious yard for parking cars and sitting outside.
You will be enchanted by the decor of each of the rooms in Ezera Maja. Even the tiniest detail has been made with the special love of an artist’s hand. The rooms are equipped using natural local materials, keeping the ancient feel of the house.
We offer guided tours around Liepaja and region. Bicycle rent free of charge is available.

Ezera Maja is situated on the only street in Liepaja that connects the Baltic sea and Liepaja’s lake and is five minutes walk from the city center. Ezera Maja is 10 minutes walk from the large covered market with fresh food and local crafts, from the long sandy beach and all historical centres.
English, German, Russian, Latvian are spoken by the owners who will welcome you warmly in the Latvian style and show you round the house and your accommodation. Liepaja is the 3rd largest town in Latvia. The charm of Liepāja is concealed in its special atmosphere. Perhaps a bit restrained and harsh, yet also noble and rebellious. Sometimes calm, sometimes swirling – like the sea washing the shores of Liepāja.
Liepāja’s beach. One should go and enjoy everything it offers – the whitest and finest sand, the hottest sun, the most forceful western winds and unbounded feeling of freedom. The Liepāja beach has been a popular swimming location since the 90s of the 19th century, when the Russian tsars and their retinues began to visit here. The white sandy beach offers numerous activities in the summer: swimming, sun bathing, collecting small pieces of amber, long walks.
Many unique things can be seen in Liepaja. Unique in Latvia and the Baltic, in Europe and all around the , for instance, The largest mechanical organ in the world in Holy Trinity Lutheran Cathedral in Liepāja, The pavilion of Liepāja Peter’s market is one of the most beautiful market pavilions in Europe, Karosta prison – the only military prison in Europe open to tourists Karosta - this is a really unique and rare site not only for Latvia but also within the historical, architectural and urban construction framework worldwide.
There are a lot of cultural and sport events, concerts and festivals in Liepāja every year.
If you want to enjoy wild nature, we suggest you to go to Pape Nature Park to see wild horses and oxen or to the longest swamp trail in Europe – Dunika swamp trail, what is 6 km long.
Liepaja is easily accessible by car, bus, train or plane. Liepaja is good base if you want to explore Western part of Latvia and Lithuania.

There are five spacious bedrooms on two floors. Each floor has its own entrance and fully equipped self catering kitchen.
On the ground floor we offer three spacious ensuite bedrooms. On the first floor, with its high beamed ceilings, we offer two large ensuite family rooms. On each floor there is self-catering fully equipped kitchen / dining area, washing-machine, iron/ ironing board for guests to use. Up to date maps and tourist information is always available. On the ground floor is a sunny, romantic conservatory.
We offer each floor as a holiday apartment with two or three bedrooms, separate entrance, self catering kitchen, washing-machine and other amenities.
