Exclusive luxury chalet in Switzerland's No. 1 ski resort 4 Vallées. The spacious spa chalet has an open fireplace, a spacious private sauna, an outdoor whirlpool and free WiFi. Its spaciousness, the well thought-out layout and the high-quality furnishings make for the special living quality and ambience of the chalet.
1. First floor: The living area of the chalet - here you will find the light-flooded dining area with a large dining table that comfortably seats 10 people. In addition, this floor has two separate living areas, each with sofa sets and coffee table: one with a large Smart-TV -screen diagonal 127 cm-, the other by the open fireplace. Access to the panoramic balcony. Modern, fully equipped open-plan kitchen. Separate WC.
2. First floor: The 5 double bedrooms each have an en suite bathroom with WC. Two of the bedrooms are equipped with a king-size double bed (180 x 200 cm). The other bedrooms each have two single beds that can be connected. The chalet exudes a cosy, comfortable charm thanks to the use of high-quality materials such as natural stone.
Ground floor: Here you will find the wellness area with sauna and shower, a multi-purpose room/storage room and the garage.
When conditions are good, you can ski back down slightly to the chalet along the track (not marked; at your own risk). Distance to the centre of Les Collons ~750 m on the road or 400 m on foot (unpaved path).

Distance to the centre of Les Collons ~750 m. The pleasant resort has shops, restaurants, après-ski pubs, bank, post office, ski rental, ski school. Nearby Thyon 2000 offers an indoor swimming pool and childcare (from 18 months; winter season), ~6 km. Charming winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes.

Chalet altitude ~1700 m, ski area to m (Mont Fort glacier). Distance to ski slope ~400 m. This is part of the top ski area Les Collons - Verbier - Quatre Vallées. "Skiing at the highest level" with 410 km of pistes and numerous fantastic ski routes. New express chairlift 'Ethérolla'. From Greppon Blanc ( m) magnificent deep-snow descent "L'Eteygeon" (not marked or prepared; at your own risk) over altitude metres into a side valley; return by bus. Large snow park "Centralpark" near Thyon. Attractive toboggan run between Thyon and Les Collons. Artificial ice rink in Hérémence. The region offers ~12 km of cross-country ski trails. Up to 20% ski pass discount - depending on the season - on the normal price for the entire Les Collons - Verbier - 4 Vallées area as well as for the local Printze sub-area from a 6-day pass; also valid for children, young people and senior citizens (ski information as of the 2020-2021 season).
Summer info
The chalet has garden furniture, deck chairs and a charcoal barbecue. The approx. 750 m² garden is surrounded by a wooden fence.
Les Collons also has a lot to offer in spring, summer and autumn, especially the varied hiking and mountain bike tours attract visitors. With low gradients, you can walk along the "Suonen" (former irrigation channels). Other activities include horse riding, climbing, gliding and bowling. A stroll in historic Sion, the capital of the Valais, and a boat trip on the underground lake of St-Léonard are well worthwhile. Another highlight is the 285 m high Grande Dixence dam.
The popular ski resort of Les Collons enjoys a privileged balcony location above the Val d'Hérens - a branch of the Rhone Valley - between the traditional village of Hérémence and the well-known ski resort of Thyon 2000. The picture-book panorama extends to the four-thousand-metre peaks of the Matterhorn and Dent Blanche. The chalets are located outside the centre, loosely arranged and in a panoramic hillside position. In the village centre you will find shops, restaurants, après-ski pubs and ski school. Les Collons is part of the "4 Vallées" ski area and is connected to Veysonnaz, the Mont Fort glacier and Verbier via ski lifts, cable cars and slopes.

Pure luxury in the mountains
We are thrilled with the chalet: lots of space, classy design, everything available, but also cosily furnished. We walked the 400 m to the piste from Les Collons to Les Masses. The view from the chalet is not bad either. You don't live in the centre of the ski resort, but you can get there on foot in 10 minutes. The village of Les Collons consists mainly of chalets, we did not find a real core village. The villages of Heremence and Vex further down the valley are really quaint, with old wooden Valaisan stadiums, typical shops, etc.

nothing is missing, great view over the Rhone valley. Unfortunately hardly any German programmes on the TV
