Norddeich (Low German: Nörddiek) is a district of the town of Norden with just under 1750 inhabitants. Norddeich is located in the north-west of East Frisia directly on the North Sea coast and has been a state-recognised North Sea spa since 1979.
On 24 June 2010, Lower Saxony's Minister of Economic Affairs, Jörg Bode, awarded the district the highest level of tourism recognition with the title "North Sea Spa". Our holiday flat is centrally located in Norddeich:
*approx. 400 m to the bakery and Netto discount store.
*approx. 8 minutes walk to Ocean Wave, with a sauna area, seawater wave adventure pool, massages, sauna and a seal station in the Norddeich National Park House, mini-golf, bowling alley and spa park.
*approx. 15 minutes walk to the sandy beach, kite meadow / sunbathing lawn (1.2 km as the crow flies)
*Our dyke / beach invites you to take relaxed, quiet and romantic walks in the sunset.
*it takes about 20 minutes to walk to Norddeich harbour, which is mainly used for ferry and freight traffic to the East Frisian islands of Juist and Norderney. It is the third largest passenger port in Germany after Puttgarden and Rostock and the largest in Lower Saxony. Every year, around 2.25 million passengers travel from here to the islands of Norderney and Juist. In addition, vehicles are transported to the island of Norderney every year, which is served every hour in summer. All in all, there are approximately scheduled trips to both islands per year. The North Sea island of Juist (dt. [jyːst], niederl. [jœy̑st]) is one of the East Frisian islands in the Wadden Sea of Lower Saxony and lies between Borkum and Norderney). Norderney (Nörderneei)is one of the East Frisian Islands in the North Sea.
*In the early hours of the morning, you can watch the cutter being unloaded live, as most of the cutters return to the harbour in the morning after a long night of fishing, and you can also try some freshly cooked crabs.
*The town of Norden (Nörden) is km from the Ludgerie church, countless old buildings, our historic market square, our tea museum is also directly on the market square, from there you can enjoy a real East Frisian tea with cake.
The inhabitants of Norden are called Norder, or Nörder in Low German. Norden is one of the oldest towns in East Frisia. In 2005 it celebrated the 750th anniversary of the first documentary mention. It is the main town and namesake of the historic landscape of Norderland and the fourth largest town in East Frisia in terms of population. Until 31 July 1977, it was the seat of the district of the same name, which was merged into the district of Aurich on 1 August of that year.

*If you are planning a bicycle tour, we have a bicycle rental shop right here in the street about 200 metres away.
*Kur Klinik Norddeich is 2 km away as the crow flies. They offer massages, exercise baths, relaxation rooms/techniques, wellness treatments, etc.
*For our young guests there is also a Misikschuppen, Meta a "cult" disco that has existed for over 50 years, this is 0 km away as the crow flies
*The Waloseum is very easy to reach by car (5 km away).
*The fishing village of Greetsiel is a district of the municipality of Krummhörn in the district of Aurich in Lower Saxony. The seaside resort is located on the Ley Bay in western East Frisia and has 1450 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012). Greetsiel looks back on a history of over 650 years.
*The city of Emden is km is the largest city in East Frisia, with inhabitants Emden is the smallest of the independent cities in Lower Saxony. The inhabitants are called Emder.
*The city of Aurich (Auerk) is km away. Aurich is the district town of the district of Aurich in East Frisia in the north-west of Lower Saxony. Aurich is the second largest city in East Frisia - both in terms of inhabitants (behind Emden) and area (behind Wittmund). With inhabitants, Aurich is an independent municipality and is listed as a medium-sized centre in the regional planning of the state of Lower Saxony.

Leave the A31 or A28 in the direction of the exit "Emden Mitte" and take the B72 in the direction of Georgsheil / Aurich, in Georgsheil follow the B 72 in the direction of Norden / Norddeich, Once you arrive in Norddeich, turn left immediately after the Hotel Norden / Norddeich into the street "Alter Dörper Weg", then take the first street on the right. (Loggerstrasse) and you have reached your destination.

Very nice holiday flat, it is very lovingly furnished. Everything you need for a holiday is there. The location to the beach is ok, and you can also shop nearby. The beach chair on the beach was great.
We would always come back. Very friendly landlady

Diese gemütliche und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung hat uns einfach sehr gut gefallen! Super nette Vermieter ! An- und Abreise top-Abholung! Fahrräder jederzeit bereit! Super eingerichtet!
Auch die kurzen Entfernungen zum Strand, sowie zum Einkaufsmarkt und Kirche usw. haben uns positiv überrascht !
Alles in allem war das ein gelungener Urlaub, den wir gerne wiederholen würden und natürlich genauso gerne weiter empfehlen !

Bewertung Ferienwohnung Corina Norddeich
Alles in allem haben wir ein sehr schönes, verlängertes Wochenende in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Insbesondere hat uns der großartige Service gefallen. Für uns jungen Leute ohne Auto und Orientierung war es sehr komfortabel, von Ihnen vom Bahnhof abgeholt und wieder hingebracht worden zu sein. Außerdem haben uns die Insider-Empfehlungen (do's and dont's) von Ihnen und Ihrem Mann sehr geholfen (z.B. Fahrradverleih, Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten, Supermarkt, Restaurants, etc.).
An der frisch-renovierten Wohnung hat uns in erster Linie gefallen, dass sie mehr als geräumig und bestens ausgestattetet war, sodass uns an nichts fehlte (eventuell eine Auflaufform, aber das wäre schon Kritik auf zu hohem Niveau. Schließlich gab es auch genügend andere Gerichte zum Kochen). Ein Doppelbett allerdings wäre eventuell wünschenswert gewesen, auch wenn wir so sehr gut auf den äußerst bequemen Matratzen genächtigt haben.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Gut. Sehr kompakt, Strand, Supermarkt, Freizeitmöglichkeiten gut zu Fuß und mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen.
Auch wenn das Wetter nicht zum Baden einlud, wäre dennoch ein richtiger Sandstrand wünschenswert gewesen, ohne steinige/asphaltierte Abtrennung zum Meer.
free time activities: Sehr gut. Neben der Seehundstation, der Wattwanderung mit Tamme ist vor allem auch das Abendteuergolfen von uns wärmstens zu empfehlen, was wir sogar in der kurzen Zeit gleich zweimal ausgenutzt haben.
shopping facilities: Auch wenn nur ein Supermarkt im Ort liegt, war dieser gut zu erreichen, bot eine breite Auswahl und preislich i.O.

Ein schöner Kurzurlaub
Uns hat der Kurzurlaub in Norddeich gut gefallen. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig und hell. Es gibt nur zwei Einzelbetten, aber dafür eine Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer, wo wir es uns dann stattdessen gemütlich gemacht haben. Der Netto ist locker zu Fuß in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Bis zum Strand sollte man zu Fuß allerdings um die 15-20 Minuten einplanen. Aber es lohnt sich!!
