You can reach the historic centre of Hassfurt and the leisure centre (adventure pool and ice rink) from our holiday flat (in the immediate vicinity of the Hassberg Clinic) in about 10 minutes on foot.

Sightseeing flights or balloon rides give you an unusual perspective of the
the charming countryside from an unusual perspective.
The Main cycle path and the connected network of cycle paths in the town and district of Hassberge are a paradise for cyclists. From now on, there is a rental station of 2 electric bicycles at the mobile home park at the "Gries" fairground in Haßfurt!
Walkers and hikers relax on the Hohe Wann, along the Main or on the agriculturally charming paths of the Haßberge and Steigerwald nature parks.
Very active people take part in the city run or prefer skydiving. If you want to take it a little easier, you can play tennis, go horseback riding or canoeing. Exercise enthusiasts have two fitness centres at their disposal.
The leisure and adventure pool, open until February (weather permitting), offers fun and variety with various pools, a giant slide, steam grotto, warming hall and sauna.
The Main and the surrounding quarry ponds are ideal for fishing, canoeing and surfing.
The indoor ice rink is open from September to March.
Bamberg (20 minutes), Würzburg, Schweinfurt, Volkach, Coburg, Bad Kissingen, Ebrach and Pommersfelden are all within easy reach by car.
Haßfurt is located between the charming Haßberge and Steigerwald nature parks, directly on the northern bank of the Main, between Bamberg and Schweinfurt. The district town of Hassfurt (population approx. 8,300) is not only the administrative centre of the district, but also an attractive meeting place on the Main.
The sights of Hassfurt include the town parish church of St. Kilian from 1390 with works by Tilman Riemenschneider, the Upper Tower or Bamberg Gate as well as the Lower Tower or Würzburg Gate (around 1230), the Knights' Chapel of St. Maria from 1431 with 238 heraldic shields, the Heiliggeist Hospital Chapel from 1430, the Old Town Hall on the market square from 1514, the New Town Hall (Neues Amtshaus) from around 1700, the Prince-Bishop's Tithe House from the end of the 15th century (now the town hall) and the Kreuztal Mariaburghausen Monastery in the hamlet of Mariaburghausen.
Regular events include the Haßfurt Meefest at the Gries festival site in July with a town run and the Haßfurt Street Festival in October with a colourful programme on the main street.
