Situated on the hill, opposite Frôlois, with a magnificent view of the castle and the valley, in absolute tranquillity and very close to all the sights of Burgundy, architect's house built in natural materials harmoniously into the hillside and glazed over its entire length, for 4 to 6 people, with terrace, pool and grounds of 4000sqm, tastefully furnished: large living room with fireplace + fully equipped kitchen, room with sofa bed, children's room with bunk bed, bedroom with large double bed, bathroom with shower, generous, spacious and bright, at ground level on an area of 100sqm. The whole house is for exclusive use.
It is a modern, functional architect's house with clean lines, natural materials such as wood or the natural stone Massangis, typical of the region, and tasteful design furniture.
All rooms are accessible from the terrace, glazed towards it and lead onto a meadow with trees with a total area of 4000sqm, with no direct vis-à-vis; this offers the possibility of various activities. A tree house with hammock and swing is used for children to play. A planted pergola as sun protection, a sun deck with oak bench and water basin with fish invites you to relax and unwind.
The spacious, light-flooded dining room with kitchen unit and living area with open fireplace communicates with the adjoining reading room with library and sofa bed around the pool and offers a beautiful view on all sides.
Separately, there is a children's room with a step-down bed, which is separated from the bedroom with a large double bed by the bathroom/WC. The entire bathroom with shower is tiled with natural stone. Along the entire length of the house, the rear wall is fitted with built-in cupboards with sliding doors as a spacious storage area. Attached to the entrance area is a storage room with garden furniture.

Location and surroundings of object
In the immediate vicinity, adults and children alike will get their money's worth, there are sporting and cultural activities, as well as culinary attractions.
To name just a few examples: Frolois is only 5 km away from Thenissey, where there are various horse riding possibilities, a few kilometres further on at Hauteroche there are great climbing rocks, and a quarter of an hour later you arrive at the charming Flavigny sur Ozerain, situated on the ridge. This is where the popular aniseed sweets are made, where wine is grown and where the famous film "Chocolat" with Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp was filmed. The route continues along the Canal de Bourgogne, on which you can also take a houseboat or make wonderful tours by bike, to the medieval town of Semur en Auxois. This is always worth a trip, especially as the bathing lake "Lac de Pont" with its water sports facilities is right next door in the forest.
The indoor and outdoor swimming pools in Montbard with its 25m sports pool, wave pool, giant slide for the children and Jacuzzi, massage jets, sauna etc. are also ideal for swimming. Just outside Montbard is the Abbaye de Fontenay, a World Heritage Site, and on the way home you will pass through historic Alesia, with its recently completed Tschumi Interpretation Museum, the new attraction in the region. Pass by the " Chateau de Bussy Rabutin", one of the countless castles in the region, to Frolois, also with its castle on the ridge.
Of course, you can also follow the Burgundy Wine Route, which leads from Chablis via Dijon to Nuits-St-George and Beaune to Mâcon. Or taste the excellent cheese in nearby Epoisses, or the vineyard snails. And from our terrace you can see the Charolais cattle grazing in the valley.
And that's just a taste..

Bathing: Bathing pond in Venary les Laumes, 20min, bathing lake "Lac de Pont" near Semur en Auxois, 40min, situated in the forest with small sandy beach and water sports base, indoor and outdoor swimming pool in Montbard, 30min, with bubblers, massage jets, wave pool and giant slide and 25m swimming pool.

..We felt very much at home in this little paradise. We were thrilled by the flora and fauna. A picture book summer in Burgundy. After our extensive day trips to the cultural sites of the region, we were welcomed in a well-tempered house with dreamlike views
...We enjoyed the restful quiet and the beautiful surroundings very much, and the ugly buzzword "deceleration" applies here one hundred percent. Of course, we also visited the many sights and made several beautiful bike tours along the Canal de Bourgogne. We also enjoyed the culinary delights and the wine!

Belle vie! - Beautiful life!
Arrived ... thrilled ... and immediately felt comfortable!
The holiday home impresses with its exceptional location, relaxed distant view and heavenly peace. The continuous glass front creates a constant connection with nature, unless you're already on the beautiful and tree-shaded terrace. The house is equipped with everything needed for a relaxed holiday. The clearly structured architecture has pleased us very much and brought joy.
The surroundings offer numerous excursion destinations to small, interesting places, castles, abbeys, etc. Dijon is also worth a visit.
Contact, booking and communication were uncomplicated, friendly and direct.
We would love to come back and gladly recommend the holiday home.

Pure relaxation
This house has found us! Peace and quiet, fantastic view(s), nature, history+architecture - here you can find it all within a small radius. For a fortnight we enjoyed the hectic-free life. In our "collection" of special holiday homes, this wonderful house, pushed into the hillside, with its almost continuous glass front and protective grass roof, occupies an upper rank : ) With still quite cool outside temperatures, we appreciated the warmth of the underfloor heating under the natural stone floor as well as the possible fireplace. In addition, friendly email exchange with the owner and uncomplicated handling - full recommendation from us!

Extraordinary
We spent a wonderful and relaxing week in a very special house - open, welcoming and modern with great taste and design. The full length glass frontage is fantastic, even when washing up and cooking you have a great all round view of the garden , the white grazing Charolais cattle and the village of Frôlois. It is so relaxing to sit on the lovely terrace and just look out over the countryside...Everything is immaculately maintained and we wanted for nothing. A great starting point for excursions and cycling tours in the area, there are plenty of destinations. There is plenty of information material and maps in the house so that you really don't miss anything. The communication with Mrs Kraft was uncomplicated and fast, everything worked out. You just have to feel good in this place!

Pure relaxation!
We felt very comfortable for a fortnight. The house radiates a special energy. Light-filled rooms and a view of the old town of Frolois in the distance, as well as three cows grazing peacefully. Nearby Flavigny-sur-Ozerain with the fabulous "La Grange", a restaurant run by local farmers with regional products. In Flavigny, a visit to the old aniseed factory with museum and café is also very worthwhile. There is an exceptionally good selection of books and CDs in the holiday home. On days when the weather is not so good, you can sit comfortably in front of the open fireplace with a glass of wine and an open view of the hilly landscape. The house stays pleasantly cool in summer and is very well heated on colder days.

Fantastic holiday home
A fantastic holiday home in a great setting! The view from the terrace is so beautiful that you don't want to do anything else but sit there and enjoy it. There are so many things to explore in the immediate vicinity, the Abbaye de Fontenay, Alesia, Dijon, Flavigny, Noyers or hikes starting right at the house
The furnishings are very tasteful, the equipment complete, the service cordial, the communication with Fr Kraft very nice and uncomplicated. We will be very happy to come back!

Urlaub pur - auch mit Kindern!
Wir verbrachten zwei richtig tolle Wochen in diesem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten und gemütlichen Haus.
Es stimmte einfach alles: der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin verlief sehr freundlich und informativ. Die Hausübergabe war bestens geregelt und wir fühlten uns gleich wie zuhause.
Das Haus und der Garten sind noch schöner als auf den Fotos....! Es liegt wirklich traumhaft. Wer die Ruhe und Natur liebt ist dort genau richtig.
Unsere beiden Kinder,3 und 6 J. ,waren anfänglich enttäuscht,dass das Baumhaus nicht mehr so "sicher" war und die Wiese keine ideale Fußballspielwiese ist.
Die nahe Umgebung mit Natur pur,großartigen Radwegen, Kühen und Bächen hat aber dies entschädigt und uns die Abreise nach zwei Wochen sehr schwer gemacht.
Im Haus selber haben wir nichts vermisst. Super ausgestattet und gut gepflegt. Einfach ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen und es-sich-gut-gehen-lassen.
Auch die Schlüsselübergabe am Ende des Urlaubs war bestens!

Ferien pur!
Haus und Lage sind einzigartig. Das modern und zweckmässig gestaltete Haus mit seiner durchgehenden Fensterfront bietet aus jedem Zimmer einen Traumblick auf das gegenüberliegende Schloss Frôlois mit Kirche und Dorf. Hervorzuheben sind auch die aussergewöhnliche Ruhe - für Städter eine besondere Wohltat - und der brillante Sternenhimmel.
Die Landschaft mit den von Tälern durchfurchten Hochebenen ist abwechslungsreich und äusserst faszinierend. Frôlois liegt sehr zentral für Ausflüge zu den verschiedensten Sehenswürdigkeiten, und davon hat es mehr als genug.
Wir können das Maison Bellevue nur empfehlen, Ferien pur sind garantiert.

Herrliche Lage, hervoragende Ausstattung
In herrlicher Lage liegt dieses geschmackvolle und hervorragend ausgestattete Haus. Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche dort verbracht und haben uns an dem Panorama erfreut. Durch die verglaste Front des Hauses fühlt man sich mitten in der Landschaft sitzend. Äußerst empfehlenswert!

Tolles privates Ferienhaus mit viel Ruhe
Das sehr schöne private Ferienhaus liegt an einem Westhang mit einem romantischen Blick in das Tal und auf Frolois. Auf der Terrasse hat man den ganzen Tag Sonne. Die geschickte Bepflanzung des Gartens lässt eine Überhitzung des Hauses nicht zu. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und fühlt sich an wie "zu Hause". Es ist viel mehr als eine Ferienhaus. Wir waren sofort mental angekommen, nach einem stressigen Arbeitsjahr. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Architektonisches Juwel in traumhafter Umgebung
Das wunderschöne und voll ausgestattete Haus ist ideal gelegen, um die Bourgogne mit allen ihren Sehenwürdigkeiten kennenzulernen, aber auch um die Seele in herrlicher Ruhe und Umgebung baumeln zu lassen. Wir möchten auch bemerken, dass wir nachts wohl bisher nirgendwo so viele Sterne am Himmel gesehen haben.
Das hügelige Umland bietet sich hervorragend für Ausfahrten mit dem Mountainbike an.

Wir kommen wieder!
Wir können uns der vorherigen Bewertung nur anschließen. Ein weiterer Vorteil: durch die geniale Hauskonsruktion bleibt es auch bei höchsten Temperaturen (wir hatten eine Hitzewelle mit täglich bis zu 38 Grad) angenehm kühl.

Panoramablick auf eine Märchenkulisse
Allein der Blick auf das zauberhafte Frôlois, den man von allen Räumen des Hauses aus hat, ist das Geld wert. Dazu kommt eine Ausstattung, der es an nichts fehlt, ein Riesengarten, die einzigartige Ruhe und eine Umgebung, die Ausflugs- und Besichtigungsmöglichkeiten für mehrere Urlaube bietet. Wer hier nicht entspannt, dem ist nicht zu helfen.
