Super holiday home! Child and pet friendly, very warm landlords, super clean, well equipped. We want to go back!

The weekend was great! The family was really nice, everything was perfectly prepared, beds were made, the house was nicely heated, super clean...! We felt very comfortable right away! And even our dog was given a friendly welcome by the two dogs :o). If you are looking for idyll, peace and nature, this is the right place. The pizza oven in the house was a highlight for the children, we all enjoyed it very much! Only one small drawback was the rubbish disposal, which we had to take care of ourselves
We are really looking forward to going there at a warmer time of the year and having a barbecue outside on the site and enjoying the sun.

How do I come to Vosges?

Over Mountains and Valleys – Arrival to Your Holiday Home

If you are traveling to the Vosges by car, your first stop will be Karlsruhe. If the Northern Vosges are your destination, drive on the B10 towards Landau and leave it in the direction of Hagenbach, then take the L540 towards Lauterbourg in France. From here, you can either continue on the A35 towards the south or head towards Wissembourg. If you want to stay in a vacation rental in the southern Vosges, you can take the A35 or the A5 on the German side and then drive towards Mulhouse to reach your holiday home. Good to know: In the greater Strasbourg area, you need a French environmental sticker to enter the environmental zone. On French country roads, a speed limit of 80 km/h applies since 1 July 2018. You can also travel comfortably by TGV from Stuttgart/Munich or Frankfurt. TGV stations can be found in Strasbourg and Mulhouse. You can continue with regional trains from there. If you prefer flying, you can head to the international airport Euroairport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg and rent a car to reach your chalet.

The winding pass road is worth a drive, and at the Belvédère du Spitzenfels, you can enjoy fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, Grand Ballon, Storkenkopf, and Hohneck. From the pass, you can continue on the Vosges ridge road towards Lac Blanc. The glacial lake lies at an altitude of 1,052 meters in the Haut-Rhin department. Alternatively, you can head to Gérardmer and explore the lakes Lac de Longemer near Xonrupt-Longemer and the clear mountain lake Lac de Gérardmer. The unique ship lift at Saint-Louis/Arzviller on the Rhine-Marne Canal is a must-see. You can learn more about the inclined lift during guided tours or boat trips. History enthusiasts can follow the traces of the Maginot Line during their stay in a holiday home.
