Location and surroundings of object
The cabin is situated close to RV3 and has excellent transport connections for various excursions. There are excursion possibilities to Trondheim, Röros, Hamar, Elverum etc. From Koppang you can go to Röros with the traditional Röros railway. Around the cottage there are many possibilities for activities: Hiking in the surrounding mountains, mushroom and berry picking, canoeing especially anglers get their money's worth, the cabin is situated in an angler's paradise. The Glomma, Norway's most popular fishing river, is only a few minutes' walk from the cabin. Fishing in mountain lakes is of course also easily possible
The town of Koppang (population approx. 3000), about 14 km away, is the administrative centre of the Stor-Elvdal municipality
(supermarket, pharmacy, bookstore, hardware store, etc.), a medical centre, bank, restaurant and café, and a railway station.
Every year in summer, the so-called Koppang Mart'n takes place in Koppang. In addition to the evening festivities with live music, the Norwegians show off their traditional crafts
koppang has a lot to offer: there is a bathing lake, and the Gamle Kongevej (Old King's Road) with several historical places of worship runs through the middle of the village.
