Description
Apartment "Lyhsi": 64 sqm 2-5 pers., open kitchen with living room and corner folding sofa and another sofa bed. The kitchen is equipped with cooker, microwave, coffee machine, bedroom with double bed with direct access to shower/WC.
The view from all windows shows you the mountains and meadows.
Our holiday flat Lyhs is located in a holiday house, which is almost at the end or entrance of the valley village Fehrenbach
Our house is quietly situated and is about 20 metres away from the road. At the back of the house flows the small stream Biber. Behind the house, beautiful mountain meadows and forests invite you to go hiking or snow hiking.
Parking/barbecue directly in front of the house. Sauna is located in the basement for a fee. All apartments are equipped with bed linen, towels, tea towels and bath towels. There is another large apartment for 8 people and a smaller one for 2 people.

Location and surroundings of object
The apartment is located at the end of the village/beginning of the village in a quiet location. The village of Fehrenbach is approx. 1.5 km long and is bordered on both sides by beautiful mountains. On the way to Masserberg you will pass through the Fehrenbach Switzerland, a beautiful landscape in summer and winter.
A large bathing lake with a beach is only a few minutes away by car.
Masserberg is a health resort on the heights of the Thuringian Forest at almost 900 metres above sea level. The municipality of Masserberg consists of 4 villages: Masserberg, Heubach, Fehrenbach (700 m) and Schnett. The holiday home is located in Fehrenbach. Fehrenbach is an idyllic village with approx. 800 inhabitants, nestled in the valley by beautiful mixed forests and many hiking trails. Regional restaurants with Thuringian cuisine offer excellent food at still reasonable prices. Cross-country ski trails and ski lifts are only a few minutes away. There are 3 ski lifts and approx. 70 km of cross-country ski trails in the surrounding area. The longest hiking trail in Europe, the "Rennsteig" with 168 km is only 2 km away. Hiking trails can be reached in just 100 metres from the fewo.

Summer holiday 2017
I spent a very nice week in the flat with my daughter and our dog. The flat corresponds exactly to the description. The comfortable beds and the excellent apple strudel are very noteworthy :-). You can start your hikes right from the flat and don't necessarily need a car. However, since we also like to go sightseeing, we also went by car, and the fairy grotto is especially recommended. It is also ideal for children. We will definitely come back again.

sehr gur
wir haben in dieser netten Ferienwohnung eine Woche mit unserem Hund verbracht und können sie nur weiter empfehlen. Sie war Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen durch Wald, um Stausees und über wundervolle blühende Bergwiesen. Erholung pur.
Ein guter Schlaf ist garantiert.

the nice welcome and the delicious apple strudel are not available everywhere.

Wanderurlaub im Thüringer Wald
Wir haben uns in der Wohnung und im Haus Lyhs total wohl gefühlt. Ausstattung entsprach genau der Internetbeschreibung, sehr gemütlich, hell und modern. Sehr freundliche, kompetente Gastgeber, die den Aufenthalt durch persönliches Engagement zu einem Erlebnis gemacht haben. Viele Wandermöglichkeiten direkt von der Haustür aus, ohne das Auto nutzen zu müssen.

Einfach perfekt
Wir konnten Anfang November eine sonnige, tolle und erlebnisreiche Woche im Thüringer Wald verbringen. Nicht zuletzt auch die gute Fürsorge (sogar ein Handtuch zum Säubern der Pfoten unseres Hundes nach den Wanderungen lag bereit) und die komplette Ausstattung (einschl. Apfelstrudel) haben den Urlaub perfekt gemacht. Danke. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, sind sehr nett empfangen worden mit warmem Apfelstrudel (lecker!). Wunderschöne Waldgegend, hervorragende Wandermöglichkeiten. Gerne würden wir auch den Winter einmal hier verbringen, in der wirklich gut geheizten und gemütlichen Wohnung!

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung in toller Lage!
gemütliche, geräumige und gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit Blick auf einen Berghang; wenige Minuten vom Rennsteig, im Winter von verschiedenen sehr gut gespurten Langlaufloipen in wunderschöner Natur entfernt; in unmittelbarer Nähe zu zwei Abfahrtshängen (Masserberg, Heubach), tolle Rodelmöglichkeiten; Möglichkeit der Saunanutzung im Haus mit liebevoll herrgerichtetem Ambiente durch Frau Lyhs; kurzum: günstige Ausgangslage für Unternehmungen in herrlicher Natur, engagierte und aufmerksame Vermieterin! Wir (Eltern und drei Kinder) haben uns hier rundum wohl gefühlt.

Skiurlaub spontan
Ganz spontan sind wir in den Thüringer Wald gefahren um unseren Langlauf Ski mal Schnee zu zeigen. Wir haben eine total tolle Unterkunft gefunden und sind liebevoll von Frau Lyhs empfangen worden. Die Ferienwohnung ist einfach Klasse. Liebevoll eingerichtet bis ins kleinste Detail, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Jeden Morgen kam der Bäcker mit frischen Brötchen. Die Küche ist mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht. Nach unserer Langlauf Tour - die Loipen sind hervorragend- ging es abends in die Sauna. Diese war auch sehr liebevoll hergerichtet worden. Auch zum Schneewandern, z.B. zur Werraquelle, ist diese Gegend hervorragend. Wir haben uns total wohlgefühlt und werden auf alle Fälle wieder zu Frau Lyhs fahren.
Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

sehr schöne FeWo
schon seit vielen Jahren fahren wir regelmäßig zum Wintersport in den Thüringer Wald und genießen die gemütliche Ferienwohnung sowie die familiäre Atmosphäre im Hause. Die Anbindung an die Loipen ist hervorragend, alles kurze Wege. Hervorzuheben ist die kleine Sauna im Haus sowie die traumhafte Lage des Örtchens.
Es gibt im Ort mindestens zwei Restaurants mit empfehlenswertem thüringschen Mittagstisch. Wir sind sehr gut erholt wieder zu Hause angekommen.
