Nice time

I was on vacation with my granddaughter and 4 Tervueren for one week. We had actually hoped for snow, but it was already spring. The house was perfect for us, even though the dogs needed some time to get used to the stairs. I had prepared for my 15-year-old dog with a life jacket so I could help her. On the second day, we were in Franzensbad at the swimming pool and that's where I broke my right arm. We still had a great time. Thank you Jiri and his family.

highly recommended; always happy to do it again

We spent a several-week stay in the very beautiful holiday home, where we wanted to explore the local healing springs area following in the footsteps of Goethe. We were greeted with a very lovingly and tastefully selected ambiance in warm colors in the house, which was also already appropriately decorated outside the house.
The place and the house combine many things: tradition, modernity, history, both rural and urban with all its advantages. You can immerse yourself in different worlds, feel a bit like on a rural vacation, but at the same time, for example, shop for everything necessary every day, and even within walking distance. Mr. Ryba and his family will respond to any suggestion. If something is lacking or if you have a question, they are always available and very helpful.
We will take away many beautiful memories from this stay - both in pictures and in our hearts. We thank you and would love to come back anytime.

Top Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern eine sehr schöne Zeit in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Der Preis, ohne irgendwelche versteckten Kosten, ist unschlagbar!... Und unser großer Hund war auch kein Problem.

We had a great time in Skalny

Object clean and well equipped, the location is very good and the owner very nice and helpful. In a word, everything is better than good.

Excellent stay

Very nice welcome from the owner. Nothing was lacking in the furnishings. Quiet and dreamy location. The terrace is secluded and equipped with everything.The steep stairs are a bit of a challenge but even I managed them well and I have 2 artificial knees? We explored the whole area by bike and it is beautiful. In the village itself there are several restaurants, which are just great, and I can highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you once again, we will definitely be back

Schönes Haus mit einigen Mängeln

Dafür das das Haus bis zu 6,oder sogar 7 Personen angegeben ist,ist zu wenig Besteck da.
3 Eierbecher,die man erstmal suchen mußte.
Zu wenig Abtreter ( bei uns hat es leider nur geregnet) wurde der Schmutz ständig von der Terrasse aus reingetragen.
Die steile Treppe ist selbst für mobile Gäste sehr unbequem,gerade wenn man Nachts mal aufs WC muß. Keine Jalousie oben im vorderem Schlafzimmer.
Aber am meisten hat uns gestört,das die Heizung nicht permanent an war.Wir haben tagsüber gefroren,weil abgestellt und dafür Nachts geschwitzt,weil die Heizung dann volle Pulle an war.
Trotzdem, insgesamt schöne Unterkunft mit einigen Mängeln, dafür sehr netter Vermieter!

Hardly enthusiastic

After our very unsuccessful holiday at Lake Schwerin in Retgendorf, we also entered this holiday home with a queasy feeling. However, everything turned out quite differently. . Our arrival was arranged very flexibly by the landlord. On the day of our arrival we got to know the landlord and were impressed by his appearance. An open-minded, friendly and obliging man showed us around the house. We were given biscuits as a welcome and a Christmas tree provided contemplative hours with our loved ones. Everyone, especially the children, was delighted and had a really great time.
The price is the price. We made this experience for the first time on our arrival. There were no additional costs (visitor's tax, dog, etc.). All rooms were clean and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped except for an oven, but this was not in the description. Couldn't the oven be put instead of the dishwasher?
The stairs were a challenge for us in the beginning. But with time we got used to it
The garden has a small playground, a summer pool and a terrace. There is a stone barbecue on the terrace. This was a good place to end the evening. The area is bordered by green plants, so that one can stay undisturbed. The neighbours of the house are very friendly and sociable

Conclusion: We were very excited and wistful at the same time to have to go home again. We were very impressed by the landlord's manner. Many entrepreneurs can take a leaf out of their book, because that's how it should be on holiday

wundervolle Unterkunft

Wir waren mit 4 Kindern hier und hatte alle viel Spaß, dank Pool und anliegendem Waldgebiet.
Besonders schön, der Ort Skalna ist super toll gepflegt, alle Menschen sind freundlich.
Toller Außengrill, perfekte Sitzgelegenheiten, super Ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspüler. Alles sehr sehr sauber!
Leider haben uns im Sommer die Gardinen/ Rollos in der oberen Schlafetage gefehlt. Besser schlafen mit dunklen Rollos/Gardinen im Sommer.
Ansonsten ein perfekter Urlaub, wir kommen in 2 Jahren sehr gern wieder!

This house is simply great for a holiday in the Czech Republic!

We have been in this house for five days with my wife and our child. The weather was nice and everything you need is here. Nearby is food (Skalna in 5-10 minutes walk there), duck & fish pond just down the road, 2x restaurants (highly recommended), there is also in bad weather a nice swimming pool and also cheap in 12 minutes drive (car to the advantage) and you also have forest in a few minutes walk to pick mushrooms
Otherwise, the holiday home is in top condition and you have everything you need here. Just self-catering. The landlords are super nice and friendly and are immediately available if you need something or if you are looking for something. And they are always available in case of an emergency. So I can only say that I and my wife and child will 100% come here again and take a holiday here, it's nice and quiet and there are helpful neighbours opposite. The advantage is that there is a translator in the mobile phone if you need something and want to ask them what. I can only recommend it.

Very gladly again :)

We were very satisfied, except for a few minor details that are not significant, this accommodation is highly recommended. However, the stairs to the upper floor are not suitable for older people or people with walking problems. We will definitely come back.

Top vacation rental for the price

We were in this property over Christmas, we liked it very much, a Christmas tree was decorated which added to the atmosphere of the house. Our children were also enthusiastic. We were also able to start a beautiful hike in the nearby forest from this property on Christmas Eve.

schönes Ferienhaus, sehr ruhig

genau das, was wir uns vorgestellt haben. Einen ungestörten und erholsamen Urlaub in einem kleinen Ort abseits vom großen Trubel verleben. Selbstverpflegung und keine Reglementierung von anderen Gästen oder Vermietern, die ständig auf Tuchfühlung gehen wollen. Alles in Allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Einzige Einschränkung, die im Haus liegende Treppe ist sehr steil und nicht jedermanns Sache.

Wunderschönes sehr sauberes, gepfegtes Haus.Es hat wirklich an nichts gefeht für einen erholsamen Urlaub.Sehr ruhige Gegend.Vermieter super freundlich und hilfsbereit.Dieses Haus ist nur weiter zu empfehlen.

Das Haus ist super. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern dort.
Es ist alles da was man für einen ruhigen Urlaub so braucht.
Wir werden wieder kommen.Es war auch ein Tannenbaum gerichtet.

Ferienhaus in Skalna

Ich / Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Es hat in vollstem Umfang unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig. Man hat 10 Minuten bis zum See, das Essen in Skalna ist sehr gut und auch die Umgebung. Man kann viel erleben.
