Description

Convenient separeted non smoker apartment in a brick built double house. It is laying on the second and third floor.

The apartment has a separate door. Corridor and staircase are part of living area and contain plants, table and stools.

Stairs are convienient to use, but they may be a problem for children, seniors or handicapped people.

Sitting room, kitchen and bath room with toilette, bath tub and shower cabin are on the second floor. Sleeping rooms are on the third floor.

In the "large" sleeping room there are a large marriage bed, a large single bed and roomy wardrobes. Windows contain roller blinds.

"Small" sleeping room is equipped especially for children and teens. The functinal bed with roll under bed is only 1.9 meter (7 ft) long. A WLAN internet access is available without additional fee.

The kitchen is completely equipped, but it does not contain any food. In the eating corner there is place for all guests.

In the snug sitting room there are couch, armchairs as well as digital TV-set, CD/DVD player, radio and safe. Games and a well filled library may be useful during rainy days.

Actually the apartment is equipped for five persons. Two other persons can sleep on a couch or a foldable camping bed. There isn't any baby bed.

Anti moskito shields are fittet to all windows.

Location and surroundings of object

The house with the apartment is placed on a quite side-street at a wood. The distance to the beach is about 300 meters (370 yards).

Within 20 minutes (20 kilometers / 12 miles) you can reach Rostock City by car, within 30 to 60 minutes (depending on season) by public transport services.

Next interesting place is Rostock's north west quarter Warnemünde (4 km / 2.4 miles), which is located on the west side of the river Warnow mouth.

Distance to food store and bus stop is about 100 to 200 m / 123 to 246 yards.
Markgrafenheide is a small suburb of Hansestadt Rostock some kilometers / miles from the east side of the mouth of Warnow river.
It has about 800 inhabitants. Each year up to 30,000 holiday guests come here, who live in a camp, in hotels ore in private apartments.

The beach of Markgrafenheide is famous for it's white sand and best sea water quality.
Markgrafenheide has got official titel "Sea Bath".

Clean lawn areas, the forest and small buildings let this place look like a village and give it's guests a feeling of silence.

Discounter shops, small inns and hotel restaurants guarantee food and drinks. Local transport services are available to get to Warnemünde, Graal-Müritz or Rostock City without car.

Adults (more than 14 years old) must pay a visiter's tax of 3,70 Eu per day, 1,45 Eu per for children with age from 6 to 14 years.
Rental price is valid for up to two persons, 3 nights minimum. Extra fee for additional persons from 9 to 16 Eu per night (depending on season).
Higher prices during Hanse Sail week. (2nd week in August)

Cancellation terms:

  • Canceling fees - up to 29 days before arrival: 10 € - from 28 to 15 days before arrival: 10 percent of total rent, 20 € minimum - from 14 to 8 days before arrival: 25 percent of total rent, 40 € minimum - from 7 to 1 days before arrival: 50 percent of total rent, 80 € minimum - starting from planned day of arrivel: full rent for booked days Decisive is the day, when we get knowledge of the cancelling.

additional information:

Markgrafenheide is situated in the large forest area "Rostocker Heide". Thera are lots of well labeled ways and pathes that are usable for walking, bicycling and horse back riding.

You can rent a bike in Markgrafenheide too.

Because of it's central location on Baltic Sea coast near highways A19 and A20, day trips to other cities are possible, like Güstrow, Wismar, Stralsund, Hamburg or German Capital Berlin.

At the house there is a 11 kW charging station (Wallbox) for electric vehicles with Type-2 connector. Please contact the owner for further information.

Because our house is big enough, already my parents used part of it as holiday apartment since 1960. The reconstructed apartment is in use since 2007. Many of our guests use to come here every year. We still do our jobs in companies nearby. Therefore arrival day usually is saturday.
