Description
Our country house “La Gioia” has been rebuilt some years ago and lies peacefully in the midst of the gentle hills of the Marche. We maintained as far as possible the traditional building methods: many doors in the old style, wooden beams and traditional cotto floors contribute to the rural flair of the house. On the ground floor lie the kitchen and the large dining-room/living room and a bath with shower and washing machine. An old stone stairway leads to the first floor with four large bedrooms: one double room and three two-bed rooms, in which the beds can be placed also as double bed. All four rooms and both bathrooms with shower are accessible from the central sitting room with fire-place. One more room with two beds and a small ensuite bathroom is located on the ground floor in the left addition, which one reaches from the Patio.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is peacefully set in the hilly hinterland of Senigallia, halfway down the hill on a one-way gravel road. There is only one more house after ours. The distance to the neighbours amounts to several hundred meters. Around the house there is a garden with a with grass and trees and stone-covered well. You can park cars right next to the house. There are two large tables for eating outside, one in front of the house right next to the kitchen, the other behind the house underneath the patio. There are several trees on the property (elm trees) and the garden borders directly to the fields, on which our local farmer grows wheat, sunflowers or artichokes. Around the house usually a pleasant air keeps blowing, which is very welcome on hot summer days.

The owners live on the premisies in the addition on the right side of the house. They are available if necessary for questions or suggestions, but otherwise keep to themselves. If the tenants would prefer to have the entire property completely to themselves, we can arrange that: The owners then would take the opportunity to go on vacation. In that case there is lady from the neighbourhood who will be the local contact person.
